Just full of excuses.. The worst service in my history of being alive

I don't have the energy to write everything out but key points below.

1, Had crash not my fault, Esure customer service was poor just no sympathy or knowledge they need to remember that people don't make insurance claims as a living.
2, Still not fixed car and its been 7 months, I have now scrapped it because I have given up waiting.
3, No contact I have been constantly chasing them, they always have an excuse why they cannot do their job. I even recorded them once and the advisor told me they cannot cope.
4, Whenever I make a complaint they write back telling me they have done everything and they have done nothing wrong... they seem to work with a blind belief that if they can reassure them selves then that must mean they have done nothing wrong.
5. Have a complete inability to listen or connect with customers, but they will contact you if your payment is late be (E) sure of that...
6 Last payment this month and I cannot wait to cancel, it is a complete mess. If I can give anyone advice it is to stay away even if your insurance costs hundreds more elsewhere.

Don't care about representing their customers - just process claim without care! AVOID!

Really disappointing experience with esure dealing with a motor insurance claim that wasn't my fault. No interest in helping their customer defend themselves, no urgency, just want to process the claim with 50/50 liability and get rid!

Honest Esure Car Insurance Review - Non fault accident

Unfortunately I returned to my car to find a lorry had reversed into it completely smashing one side up, I was devastated . Luckily the driver had left his details and admitted full liability so it wouldn't be a problem right? Wrong! Esure was on the case and believe me they really have the worst service I have ever experienced in any industry:

I waited 4 hours for a recovery truck constantly being told it would be 30 -45 mins
I was abandoned 120 miles from my house told to get a taxi
I received two broken hire cars (in all fairness to the hire company they sorted it straight away)
My car then came back with the engine management light on and Andrew Marsh, Esure technical executive states and I can quote "even though the engine management came on in the collision it has nothing to do with the accident and wouldn't be covered by your insurance" This was then explained as because it was a side impact they wouldn't look into it as the engine is in the front.......

Over all Esure is the worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with and even now im taking legal action against them I cant believe I wanted to save 20 quid and switched to them! I would say it is just not worth it ! The whole process has been very very upsetting and I am left with a car that is still broken. I cant even trust that they have looked into the suspension damage or anything and dont want to drive the vehicle incase it kills me.

I understand when its a fault accident insurance companies might want to save the pennies but on a non fault where the other party has accepted blame this is just unbelievable. To any potential Esure customers - Dont do it.... Seriously there are much much better companies out there and they are only a little bit more expensive. Esure is the worst insurance company in my opinion and the staff are incompetent and rude.

I really wish I had read the reviews about esure before I had purchased my car insurance with them but I have learnt my lesson and never again!

RTA not my fault, My Car was hit by a bus! I am disabled. Esure means what?

I was hit by a bus causing minor damage to my Jaguar, Esure has not replied as per customer relations, the investigations department never even requested the bus tape. I have 1 week today before my policy runs out. They claim my Jaguar is worth less than a grand minus my £400 excess so I will have about £500 to find a new car (just like the one I have now.) This is rubbish they are robbing fools who I plan and suggest anyone to go to the Financial ombusman service if they have problems too. I know I will and I plan on ensuring that I get every penny they owe me. First off NOT my fault! Regardless I am being treated like a fool, a idiot. and I wouldnt / wont use them again.

Shit company

They tell you something and do something else. I have had a crash where it's not my fault and the other person as admitted it's his fault they still want access and want to pay £145 for my car when my car passed mot every year and took me every where

Poor response to damage caused at breakin

I use esure for my buildings and contents insurance and can only say that there response and solutions to our issues has been very poor.
We had an attempted burglary at our home address on New Year's Day, the intruder attacked the rear patio wooden doors with a shovel causing damage. Burst handles, locks and splits and chunks of wood across both doors crucially around the locking area. Esures response was that they would send someone out to repair the door - on questioning how the door would be repaired I was told by using wood filler sand paper and a coat of stain. My response to this was I am not happy that this is being deemed as a solution for permanent fix and I advised the esure worker that this sounded like a cowboys way of fixing a problem. It appears to date that this is my only option. How are we going to sleep at night knowing the the door is packed with wood filler. I am pretty sure that the staff of esure would feel unhappy about this form of action to resolve had it happened to them.

very very poor customer service on phones and if you need to escalate....

VERY VERY BAD insurance company ..... they may quote cheap;y but they don't NOT stick to the actual price they quote .... it seems the prices they band about, are estimates ...lmao ...... and then they nit-pick (very illegally) when they should pay out .... PLEASE: read other peoples reviews to get an idea of what I mean .... many people are not happy (though a few have put isolated good experiences on these reviews . ... however most reviews are of course bad but do actually detail why ESURE are so bad ...)

Do Not Touch With A Barge Pole

Despite having held insurance with them for several years and never claimed, when I came to change my vehicle to a standard production VW Amarok they said they could not insure me ! Why, because " the computer says no ! "
Asked to speak to a supervisor, no chance. Any business that treats its customers with such contempt should be avoided.

5 Years with them means nothing!

Customer Services are very bad! Over a year ago I contacted them regarding my renewal Quote, Asked them to do better as it had gone up from the year before by £100 even though I have no points on my licence and never made a claim while with them.
They did not give a stuff and told me to go online if I think I can do better! I just insured with them as I had no insurance on my car and needed to go out in it, otherwise I would have taken their advice , clearly they do not want to keep their safe driving customers.
My Cover is now up again soon and just before it was due , ESURE contacted me saying due to their policy they have removed my Legal cover and I am not entitled to a hire car if I now make a claim, If I want this included again I will have to pay extra! I told customer services I am trying to save money , not add it , and it should be against the law for them to change my policy after I had agreed to it but its in the small print, they can do as they want once you sign up with them, a bit like the mobile phone companies changing your fixed rate monthly contract!
My insurance is due now so I phoned them to renew, I ask them to do better with the quote they sent me, They refused to look and told me to go online at esure and I may get it cheaper, then I asked them to put me through to the retention department otherwise I will leave them for good, They would not put me through to them and just told me they can deal with this, Then informed me that I have not been covered for the last 5 years with them because MY FULL NAME IS NOT ON THE POLICY, I said "You are a joke, Just a scam not to pay out if I needed to make a claim!, and why has no one informed me of this problem before! Reply from Customer Service " IT IS IN MY POLICY SMALL PRINT , YOU SHOULD HAVE READ IT"
I told them You are now making me want to leave you for good now, She said "ok bye"
Shock , Horror, Gasp! They are at Number 20 in the Which Report 62% , how the hell they even did that I do not know! Should not have even made it on the list!
Liverpool Victoria was number 3 on the list in which, I contacted them and I got it for £1.78p cheaper than esure and it includes Hire Car and Legal Cost at no extra cost!
So I will see how it goes with LV!! got to be better than ESURE, as they don't even give a s*** that I have left after 5 years with them!!

Good customer service...but annoyingly high fees

I'm in my 4th year with eSure and can honestly say I've not had a problem with them. Price-wise the competition just can't get close to the renewal premiums I receive year after year (though clearly I'd be switching should that ever change!).

Customer service from eSure is great too. Their call centre agents are generally friendly and helpful, always willing to complete what you request with the minimum of fuss. Addressing just the few gripes I have below would get me up to a 5 star rating:

1) eSure's systems must be from the 1980s. On the occasions I've needed to call to make changes to a policy and there's quite frequently an "IT glitch" that's going on which leads to a further phone call at a later stage. The latest was yesterday when I needed to change my address - and a glitch caused my account to freeze so nothing could be done until today (thankfully it unfroze!).

2) Cut down on the sales mumbo jumbo for customers who are simply calling to make account changes. Yes I know you want to try and cross sell me walrus insurance or some rubbish, but I just don't care. Instead of having your agents bombard me with a few minutes worth of cross-sells, why not pose a simple question to start with along the lines of "would you like to here of extras we can offer you?" - which I can promptly say no to!

3) Admin fees for policy changes are extortionate. 5 minutes or so on the phone to an agent who tweaks my address in a database + a new policy print out, an envelope and a first class stamp = £26. TWENTY-SIX POUNDS?!?! I'm in the wrong career...

Need a temporary cover note?

Esure were the cheapest insurer for my elderly 4 wheel drive, the deal was more than acceptable! However my car was due a service and the garage rang the afternoon before my service with the reg of my courtesy car, apparently they insist on fully comp cover. As I needed a cover note the following morning, email would not be quick enough, the customer service number is available online.........but its an 09number £2.00 a minute. mmm if it takes 10 minutes to sort out the issue the price doesn't seem quite so good. Beware.......

Rip off merchants , quote one price then charge another and then bill you for cancelling, bit like capital one credit cards cant publish what i think of them but basicly they are immoral.. Very pleased with direct line
