Unacceptable
I used to always shop at Evans' for clothes with me being quite large. Recently my 83 year old Grandmother stated for her birthday she wanted some pants and I obliged. Went into Evans, bought her size, and did not bother checking them as I’ve had no problems with them in the past. Got them home, I helped my grandmother try them on and they did not fit, fair enough. But when I had to good look at them they appeared to have a hole in the seam and look as though they had been worn. It was unlikely they got that worn in when my grandmother tried them on as she has COPD and is also in a wheelchair and cannot walk from one room to the other, she pretty much stood in one spot and let me do what I had to do to help her into them. I took them back with the receipt in tow and the pants still had the tags on. But when I got to the till the women behind there tried to tell me that I’d been the one to get the pants in the state they were in and refused to refund or even exchange the pants, They claimedmade it seem as though I was some 'child' just wanting to get money back after wearing them. Just to clarify I’m 20 years old, so yes I am ‘young’ but they had no right to judge me. The things they said were rude and very unacceptable. If they had of looked at the size they would have clearly seen that it was the wrong size for myself and clearly not my style anyways. Waste of time and money and I now have a very upset grandmother on my hands who really does not need to be stressed out at her age. Staff should be checking all items of clothing to make sure this does not happen again. I am very unhappy with the service and I’m really quite offended with the comments they made towards me. I can tell you now I won't be shopping there ever again, their prices are extortionate and the staff are extremely rude. Congratulations Evans, you’ve lost yet another customer.

Overpriced!
being on the voluptuous side, I used to use EVANS a lot but find them totally overpriced. They used to have a monopoly on larger sized clothes but thankfully that is not true now. I tend to use other sites and only use EVANS for the odd thing I cant find elsewhere.

Classy
Love this shop, love the clothes, the easiness of returning unsuitables and the prices (not the cheapest) but great, smashing value for money.

disappointed
They are meant to specialise in plus size but I actually end up having to buy bigger clothes as their sizing is so wrong. it is expensive too

I'm fat not 40
The sizes are great but the styles leave a lot to be desired especially in the underwear, I'm fat not 40 and I find it really frustrating that this is one of the few highstreet shops that do my sizes but don't have the style I like. Also it is very expensive it's not like they are using higher quality materials than other shops but because they deal with a fuller figure they think they can charge a bigger price.

Absolute Rubbish
I used to buy a lot of my clothes from here,but no more as they are so expensive and the quality is poorer than ever before.

Good quality but can be expensive
Design has got much better over the last few years and not everything looks like a tent! Much more fasion forward whilst flattering to the fuller figure.

I have shopped with them for many years and now on line.
I have been a customer for many years in shop i do not try much on, as the shop is very hot in the summer months and can make you feel ill, with the dry sticky heat - puts me off, thinking also who has been sweating over the clothes before hand- Staff no there air conditioning is not working and for some reason for years it remains unfixed.
Shopping online is a lot easier and i can try the clothes on in the comfort of my own home, Check out i always have a problem with it being not secure, only site i have this problem. Delivery not very fast a week for most items to arrive.

My Fav store
Wouldn't shop any where else for clothes these days. Not as good as they used to be but still my number one destination for clothes shopping.

Increasingly poor quality products
I spend a lot of money with Evans, even have an account card with them. Have never dealt with such shocking service as I have from Santander (who handles the account cards). No assistance or explanations are ever forthcoming, they have an astronomical 'late payment' fee (even though their website is regularly problematic and you can't log in when you want to to make payment!).
Whilst I own some lovely clothes from Evans, there are other companies who cater for very tall, or voluptuous ladies, and I find myself buying more regularly from them now - biggest reason being that a good 6 to 10 products bought from Evans over the past 4 months or so are very disappointing quality. If the quality isn't great, why charge such high prices?
Nowhere on the site to e-mail anyone with queries, and you rarely if ever get a response if you are lucky enough to find some sort of contact details. All I can think is so long as you buy and pay for your products, they don't really care whether you're happy with them or not. Obviously business is booming and it doesn't matter if there's disappointed customers....

Needs modernising
Evans feels a little out of touch. They have tried updating their styles, but to be honest; most of it looks tiresome and dreary. The staff are always friendly and quick to help if you need it and the website is easy to navigate. It is just a shame that a majority of the clothes are not modern enough.

not so good now
I have used evans for years always a good service online and instore but now I don't like so much I found a site called style369 which is exactly the same as evans they are cheaper on some things no nightwear though the biggest thing that makes me dislike evans is style 369 has free delivery and returns so evans why dont you have free delivery

Fast delivery and simple returns service.
Ordered six pairs of shoes. Unfortunately two pairs unsuitable so had to be returned. Returns label supplied and unlike other companies postage was free. Found the online experience of shopping with Evans easier than visiting their store. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending their service. Thanks.

Best plus size online shop
Good quality. Fast shipment. The range is a bit limited, but big for a plus size shop. Bras are too small and it would be great if they would have more 'indie style' clothes. But the overall experience is great. This is definately my favorite shopping destination plus size shopping.
