Fast, helpful service
I ordered a couple of platypus water bottles from Facewest and they arrived within a couple of days.

Great Service
Purchased some microspikes from Facewest and unfortunatly I am on the cusp of Large and Extra Large. The extra large didn't fit so returned and Kevin at Facewest replaced pretty much immediately. Great service and communication throughout and a free tote bag for the spikes as well! Brilliant

Purchase transaction very easy, received conformation straight away & quick delivery. Also received phone call ref 1 item not ready to ship ( was made aware of this when ordering on the site so no problem but great service to get a call as well. highly recommended would use again.

Best Value
Facewest had the product I was looking for and, once delivery costs were taken in to account, were the best value. I am particularly attracted to 'Free Delivery' as I am sure many other suppliers seek to make money out of this service.

Fabulous service and fast delivery
I recently bought a Rab Stretch Neo jacket from Facewest having done a huge amount of research into finding a really breathable shell for hill walking. The only thing I wasn't sure about was what size to go for so I could layer up in the cold. The person I spoke to was really helpful - immediately knew if I should size up or not (I didn't). The jacket arrived the next day and was a perfect fit. Highly recommened.

Very Efficient Service
I purchased a 'Source Widepac 3L' and it arrived on time. This widepac is a superb piece of kit. The wide opening allows you to reach inside it for cleaning purposes and it also lets the item breathe when not in use. The mouth piece is a clever little gadget; it has a lock off valve and a mouthpiece cover. The mouthpiece cover is great; when you throw your backpack onto the ground, the mouthpiece is protected from dirt etc. The 3 litre capacity is perfect for those long summer treks when you need more water, and of course, you always have the option to carry less water for shorter days. This is my best ever water solution - I've been treking for over 20yrs and tried various brands - so I highly recommend this product. Get one and you will not be disappointed!

First Class Service
I recently purchased a Black Diamond Ice Axe at a very competitive price, plus the crediting of the discount and free delivery to Austria.
Unfortunately, it was 'lost' by the Austrian national postal service.
However the response by Facewest was superb. A replacement was despatched and it arrived in excellent condition 3 days later (by a different carrier!).

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE
I have bought two Rab down jackets and two backpacks this year from Facewest. I found the prices extremely convenient, not to mention the purchase credit for returning customers. Site is very well structured and helpful in product descriptions. I needed some custom orders and the service was excellent both in providing extra information, with excellent time in replying to emails and friendly kindness. Delivery costs are very reasonable.

Great value & service despite a transaction error
Unfortunately there was a strange error in the transaction which ended up being charged twice on my credit card. Once this was brought to their attention it was quickly rectified, however, with currency conversion, I lost about $10NZ. At the end of the day, I'm still only paying half the price including delivery costs. Product arrived in 10 days as estimated.

No complaints about these guys after a number of bad experiences with other online outdoors/ski shops.
Simple website (could do with a bit more info on it!) but it does the job. I ordered some avalanche safety equipment and chose normal delivery yet it still arrived the following day. Arrived reasonably well-packaged (a bit scrappy but plenty of bubble wrap etc).
Prices seem comparable to other similar retailers. And because facewest.co.uk seem reliable, I plan to use them again.

Facewest has the most effective reward scheme I have ever witnessed. They always ship for free, and beat most other outdoor companies on prices hands down. Write a review on your item and they credit your account with £3! I will always use these guys now, and if you need to contact them, they are very swift with the replies.
