Prompt service again. Was initially disappointed as an item was damaged in the post, one phone call and 2 days later a replacement was delivered without any quibble. The discount scheme also makes facewest competitive.

Fast, friendly, knowledgable

Facewest has a range of selected equipment they care about -and the customer service is friendly and helpful -they know what they are talking about. The loyalty scheme is exceptional (10% off next order). Free delivery items arrived in Aberdeenshire in two days on both occasions I have used them -a tent and an ice axe. Throw in a 14 day no-quibble return period and this really a first class service all round.

Made a couple of purchases from Facewest and the service has been excellent; both deliveries arrived really quickly (about a day earlier than expected) and the loyalty scheme they offer is fantastic. My only criticism is that they don't always have a big range of products available, but I'd thoroughly reccomend using Facewest if you've found what you're looking for.

You know, the only problem with facewest that I've had is that they always manage to sell out of my size in stuff in their sale. I've ven lost 3 stone to try to fox them, but no - it happened again.

When they do have something in stock though, it is always as described and always arrives on time - can't say fairer than that up here in the Highlands.

Recently placed an order for a few suunto items that i wanted for the weekend..i actually called them after the 3pm cut off for next day delivery but the guys made sure it still went out and got to me ontime! to complicate matters i called them back to change the order slightly..

Skis and bindings arrived very promptly. The only niggle I have is that it wasn't made clear that the skis were waxed ready for skiing; I expected to have to get a layer of delivery wax removed and the skis rewaxed, so was a bit confused. However, my question to the slaes department soon cleared that up.

Perfect dilivery to the Netherlands

I ordered a specific product that was hard to find in the Netherlands (dakine mission photo) and quit expensive. Looking for webshops in Holland who sold the product I came onto the Facewest site through a forum.
The bag was much cheaper than in the few dutch webshops which sold it and it was delivered to me in 2 days, probably quicker than dutch webshops aswell.

Good prices, but no product!

Unfortunately for Facewest, this is the first time ever I haven’t received goods purchased over the internet…yet (2 and a half weeks waiting and still no product).

As this specific ski product is really hard to find in stores at high street retailers, I’m now in a really difficult position as I will need this product in a week’s time.

To be fair, Facewest have now refunded my purchase.

Phillip, I'm sorry that your order didn't get to you in a timely fashion. We've just received your package back from Royal Mail with a note explaining that they attempted delivery on the 28th, two days after the order was made and processed, but that no-one was available to sign for it and that subsequently no-one collected the item from the delivery depot. The post-man should have left you a card explaining that they'd been unable to deliver the item, apologies if this was not done - we'll raise this with royal mail. Many thanks, Sam

I've had several oders from Facewest so far and had no problems with any of them. The descriptions are accurate and helpful, prices keen, excellent ranges. Best of all they use the Roayl Mail so no messing about with couriers who insist on delivering when you are at work then want you to drive halfway across the county to pick your goods up from their depot.
