We have used Ferrysavers many times now and have no reservations recommending them to folk. The prices are extremely competitive and the booking process is very simple to use.
Booked with ferry savers but after found i could of saved 10% by using the caravan club .
I found Ferrysavers to have a user-friendly website, where I found the information I needed straight away and the whole booking process was simple. I would definitely recommend Ferrysavers to anyone looking to save money on ferry tickets.
Incredibly painless to find the right crossing, book and pay for. Printed the confirmation but never needed to show it, mighty efficient service and no complaints
The price was lower than booking directly, but there was no travel option that included cyclists.
was able to book ferry in no time with very little fuss excelent
Simple to use; I always book my ferries to France with ferrysavers.
having made the error of booking the outward ferry with ferrysavers as well as inadvertently via our campsite reservation, FerrySavers staff were able to cancel one of the bookings all bar a small admin fee for doing so. Great service and i have already booked the return ferry via FerrySavers - just the once this time!
The price of your crossing was more expensive than Stena Line...
£72 Stena
£87 Ferrysaver
I do not think you are saving anyone money....
When I complained on the phone to I was told by Ferrysaver telephonist: that was the price I agreed to pay ... no respect no apology or explanation... no discounts ...
I will cancel my booking today despite that I was told that you will charge me £25 booking fee... which means I will get only £62 back after refund ... but I would not like to use Ferrysavers any more.. and I would not recommend it to anyone...
Congratulations you have made £25 of me,,, Good luck ...
Your emails are constantly marked with:
Be careful! This sender has failed our fraud detection checks.
This is very worrying to me (and your customers) .. I hope I can get some money back from my cancellation ... If took all the £87 .. good luck you win ...
I have used ferry savers for over 10 years and can be sure that I am getting the best deal. However I booked a return ferry crossing from Dover to Calais and accidently chose the wrong departure date. Oops I'm having to think again......
Naturally, I thought this would be easily rectified and no skin off Ferrysavers nose or P&Os. I tried to correct on the internet but it would not allow me. I rang the very helpful lady at Ferrysavers and she was able to correct the booking very easily.....BUT with a catch...I had to pay £25 to Ferrysavers + £20 for P&O to change the booking. Eek! the ferry only cost £107 return. I am thinking Shylock would have trouble justifying this "pound of flesh" in this easy-to-access-data-driven age. I'll probably deal with Ferry company direct in the future - less risk
The service and complete experience of Ferrysavers from start to finish was one of total professionalism and ease. If you are ever thinking of crossing the Channel or booking a overseas ferry please have no hesitation and enjoy the professional service offered by Ferrysavers.
Ferrysavers aren,t always the cheapest, but if they are, and you book through them, why do they have to have a surcharge even when you pay by debit card!!
Also, their amendment fee of £25 is a bit steep.
This booking have an excellent reanges of Ferry prices to choose from and saves us almost half of the original price which I have been searching and was very pleased and also very simple to book it while having a cuppa and go on line without having to go to travel agent to book in.
Excellent service as long as it stays that way, keep up the good work.
I would recomend this site for booking with. It is staight forward to do . I will be using it again.
When looking for offers your prices were the most affordable, the booking process was quick and simple so I would use your service any time again!!!!!!!!!
This is a long story. Originalyy I booked the trip from Esbjerg to Harwich when we are due to move from Sweden to England and I needed to bring a car. Then we had bad luck and got a break in to our car and the thief broke a window which we obviously needed to fix before we could move. This lead to the fact that we missed the ferry. Phoning their customer service was like talking to a parrot. Not only was the first words from their mouth that they need to charge for changing the ticket, they charged me first and then came back and said that the next 3 ferries were fully booked meaning that we needed to choose another transportation. Also I had to fight to get the refund of the change. Then I had to spend 3 phone calls to actually be able to extend the ticket to a latter date. (I don't move country very often).
For the booking at a latter date I tried talking about it 6months ahead of schedule and they said yes with a £25 fee they could do it. That day I wasn't sure about the dates but the next day (still 6 months ahead of the trip) the change suddenly costed £45.
Eventually on the day of the trip we didn't get the right cabin. We got an inside instead of outside and our breakfast booking was also removed which meant that we had to pay for a far more expensive breakfast.
Will only use them again if I have no other choice.
I wish I had booked direct with Brittany Ferries as changing the return sailing would have been cheaper with them.
Fast quick efficient reliable service. I couldn't fault the one line service. I made a mistake with my car registration number called them up and it was amended immediately
Ferry cancelled on Monday before trip on Friday. Told an alternative ferry at different port was available, though not advised that alternative was a slow 10 hour journey. Not offered earlier ferry at original port and when finally got company to check availability no place was available. Would never use this service again, cost us over £100. In lost hotel costs not to go anywhere .
The general service is efficient but if you need to alter your booking, even if not at the last minute, the fee of £25 is a rip -off and nearly as much as the one way ferry cost.
I have been travelling to France every year for over fifteen years and have used the same company for almost as long. I have heard that many people have saved many pounds via various Internet saving sites, on a wide variety of items. I have never really found any amazing deals or savings, usually just missed them or there not quite what I had in mind. Untill I was given a link to the Ferry-savers site by a friend. I had only just booked my ferry elsewhere but thought I'd check it out out just for the hell of it.
I was staggered to find that the same dates on a very similar route which wasn't going out of my way, was a whopping £150 cheaper! This meant the saving was greater than the new cost of the crossing! Well I couldn't let it pass me by so I rearranged the original booking for another time as I was too late for a refund, and took the deal.
Just recently I had to amend the booking so contacted the company half expecting to be put on hold for tens of minutes followed by hoops to jump through but how wrong I was. The operator answered within four rings and was very helpful, calm and precise.
In short, if you are thinking about booking a ferry then this is the place to go..
Highly recommended.
Easy booking, great service, best price I could find anywhere!
excellent service highly recommended, no hassle just book and relax its all done for you will use again.
very flexible to book outgoing and return options from various ports to suit travel times
Haven't travelled yet but the booking is easy and good value. Try it....
The booking system was easy to use. I also needed to telephone through an amendment and was pleased with the speed of response to my call.
I wasn't pleased with the £44 charge to amend my booking however - it was my mistake but I requested the amendment within an hour of making the booking so I can't have inconvenienced many other customers.....
Use Ferrysavers,it,s easy and they do what you want.I always use them when I cross to France no matter which route I want to use.
A speedy embarkment and disembarkment, was able to catch an erlier ferry than booked on both out and in bound journies. polite helpful staff.
I was looking to book Cherborg to Portsmouth and finding your site saved me about £80.00 in fare for exactly the same time/boat !! Thanks
Very good saving compared to Stenna's prices. I have used Ferrysavers previously and generally prices are better.
It would have been great if your meals and cabins were a bit cheaper
Excellent service smooth and on time in my opinion perfect.
Hardley FerrySAVERS!! As more expensive than Wightlink - not impressed !! :(
This should have been a fairly simple to use site, it was though made difficult as the Ferrysaver banner was planted firmly on top of data fields that needed completing. This meant that one had to try to submit forms knowing that a question would be raised about fields that were not completed. This caused frustration and almost led to me just giving up and going to another site without such a silly set up.
Very useful site that does exactly what you want ie. enables you to compare ferry companies times and prices.
The ad nonsensense on the site makes it impossible to fill in vehicle details when booking. I am suprised that they have any customers at all.
very straight forward to book and the lowest price I could find online
Having access to the ferry companies that I wanted to use in one place was very useful. I made booking my trip quick, easy and cheaper than using the individual companies. The only downsides are a) that you are still tied into LD Lines motorcycle booking policy where only one motorcycle can be booked at a time b), you take the full price at the time of the booking, whereas Brittany Ferries use a holding fee system.
