Company phoned day before delivery to advise time of delivery and if this time suited. Delivery on time, very helpful delivery man who had no problem in putting the cooker in another room as kitchen was still yet be delivered.
This was an excellent service and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
I will post another review once the New World cooker has been installed, but first impressions of the cooker are great.

First time used and really impressed with this company. Double Oven price was the best price on the net and better still it was was in stock and the delivery in two days and at a date you could choose. Double checked everything on telephone and customer service as excellent. The night before delivery you could check approx time of delivery on the website and on the following day the driver phoned to confirm time of arrival. Old oven was collected for recycling as requested. All round excellent service and highly recommended.

Driver who delivered the washing machine was very stressed, didn't want to fetch his van to the house!! was going to use his sac cart to delivery it the rest of the way, resulting in my partner and son, going in our van and collecting it from the top of the road. Good job they were there otherwise I don't think the washing machine would have made it safely down the hill.
I ordered a replacement gas fire, on-line. It was not immediately apparent from the on-line listing that what I had ordered was not actually a balanced flue gas fire (it does get complicated this!). When I called to check delivery dates, as I made the online booking over the Easter Weekend, I was told that it would arrive on Wednesday. I stayed in all day and waited - for a delivery which did not arrive. So I called again although, by this time, the gas fitter had given me the proper advice and I was able to order a balanced flue gas fire. I was told that it would have to be ordered, anticipated within 5-7 days. Nothing further happened until I phoned, yet again, on the following Saturday morning. "Oh, it's in the warehouse, we'll get it sent out to you a week on Wednesday". By now absolutely furious and extremely disappointed by the "service" received, I told the gentleman that a week Wednesday was not acceptable, and what was the alternative. I was told that it could be sent by courier, to arrive in 48-hours (Tuesday) but that it might arrive with broken glass! Fortunately, it didn't, and my gas fitter very patiently waited through these shenanigans to fit it ten days ago.
It is lovely, does just what it says it will do. But why did I have to wait for a month for Fires-Cookers to do what they said they were going to do? Why was I the one who initiated all the phone calls, with enormous patience when whoever picked up the phone just hung up - or it wasn't answered at all! Three different people answered the phone - one gentleman very helpful, the other gentleman and the young-sounding lady either witheringly patronising or just plan rude! What kind of (presumably) professional outfit uses a courier service which is so poor that the goods risk arriving broken or damaged? Clearly, the customer service aspects of this organisation require urgent and serious review.

MY OPINION STANDS - YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE!
Easy process to purchase. On the day of delivery I phoned the companies warehouse number on the website and got the TNT tracking number.
Unfortunately TNT put it on the wrong lorry which wasn't put on the tracking until 2pm. So waited in for second day and asked TNT head office for delivery as close to 9am as pos. it arrived at 1.30pm.
Great product at a cheap price. The website was easy to use & it was the best to use to see what date your item would be delivered. All the other websites said between 7 to 30 days delivery, but on this website you could pick your delivery day, which was excellent! They were also the quickest for delivery too with me only having to wait 3 working days, as ours had broke this was great! The night before the delivery was due they also called me to give me an exact delivery time of 7am on that day & they arrived on the dot! They also made sure this time was convenient for me & not too early. This was an all round fabulous service which i would recommend to anyone & use again. Amazing Service!
I ordered my fridge freezer from Fires-Cookers specifically because they promised next day delivery. Once I got through to the checkout stage I was informed that there may be additional security checks which may delay delivery. The following day the securtity checks where satisifed, but I was then told that delivery wouldn't be for another 4 days!! This left me without a fridge or freezer for 5 days. I am pleased with the product but the service I received was not satisfactory.
Product was ordered Friday and arrived Monday (instead of Sunday).
I could not contact the seller or receive any estimated time for the delivery.

Searched on-line for a new washing machine on the Monday evening and went for another Hotpoint; Fires-Cookers not quite the cheapest but the website was straightforward and clear, the machine was in stock, and delivery seemed possible to our part of Scotland on the Wednesday when I planned to be at home anyway. I ordered on-line at 9am Tuesday in case I needed to phone, but the order went through online OK. The driver phoned on Wednesday morning to say when he'd be round; phoned again before arriving as promised; new machine delivered and old machine taken away all with a cheerful smile. All done the way it should be, a first-class service.
The 'possible fraud risk' which delayed the delivery was incredibly annoying- i felt that perhaps it was because i had ordered on the Friday and the cooker was supposed to get to me by Tuesday and it was a bank holiday weekend. However, the man on the end of the phone went out of his way to ensure that the cooker did actually get to me on time, so thank you for that.
Our old washing machine broke down in the middle of the week and we needed a replacement in a hurry, we chose one of the which best buys and fires-cookers had the best price on the net. They were also offering free Sat delivery that weekend so it was perfect.
The site says that from 4pm on the day before you should be able to go on their site and get a smaller delivery window, however when I checked that evening it didn't recognise my order number so I was a bit concerned., I needn't have been, about 8:30am on the Sat I got a text to say the delivery would be between 9:30 and 10:30. The driver arrived right on time, and was helpful enough to help my husband put the washing machine in our upstairs utility room, even though we hadn't booked that service.
We also chose the option to have them take away the old machine, which saved a lot of hassle trying to recycle it ourselves.
Very pleased with the washing machine so far.
I love this Hob. It looks great and was easy to fit new for old. I love the layout of the burners. The service from Fires-Cookers was FANTASTIC. The price was Brilliant, glad I took the time to compare on line, because I could easily have paid almost double. Will definitely be looking here in future for white goods.
A little while ago I wrote a review about a delivery of a cooker the review was stinging,within 10 mins of that review I had a phone call and all has been resolved in an efficient and polite manner the speed at which this after sales service problem was delt with was phenomenal well done Fires & Cookers and by the way the cooker is FANTASTIC.
Your web site happily accepted my order, took my money despite the fact that you didn't have the oven I wanted in stock. I was then told you may be able to get one in specially but no joy. I was then told you might be able to get the order in a bit earlier than initially thought but then I was told it would actually be longer.
all the time I had to keep phoning to chase things up.
Even when I asked to cancel the order you refused because the right person was not working that day.

Bought a new washing machine after looking on Which and discovered that Fires-Cookers were the least expensive suppliers. They arranged delivery for 2 days later, the delivery driver even rang me the evening before to tell me that I was first on his list so would be here around 7am, would that be ok? Washing machine is great and as I say I got it at a much better price than any of the other retailers of the same machine. I would definitely recommend them.
Ordered on line on Thursday and was able to pick a Saturday delivery, fridge was just what was required, very happy with service provided and delivery man very helpful as I ordered this for my elderly mum and he placed it the right position in her kitchen
I purchased a dishwasher from Fires - cookers. t was the best price of any retailer. I also purchased removal of my old dishwasher and unpacking. After a few days i was told that they could not uplift my old machine and could not unpack and remove packaging and i was refunded cost of this. It then cost me £32 to have dishwasher removed by local Council . I would have purchased elsewhere if i had known this before i bought the dishwasher.
My stove arrived as planned and I was phoned ahead by the driver.
I needed to contact the company a couple of times with some questions and they were always helpful and responsive.

This could have been a disaster as the machine I ordered through Fire cookers was not delivered on time by the delivery company and i was annoyed and mad like hell because it wasted a day's holiday from work. But the after care provided by Fire cooker's customer service contact (Jonathan) i spoke to turned my opinion around. He was warm, empathetic, professional and so very understanding. Goes to show all it takes to win a customer's heart is being there for them which Jonathan from Fire-cookers did. Excellent customer service.
Our washing machine broke on Tuesday night. On Wednesday, we ordered a new washing machine and were surprised to find that it could be delivered on Saturday. There was no hanging around, we got a telephone call just before 8.00 a.m. and the machine was delivered by 8.30 a.m. A great price and a great service.
