I ordered 4 dining chairs from this company and when I unpacked them one of the chair seats was damaged I emailed them straight away and their response was very quick . I recieved a replacement seat within days at no extra cost and no p&p charges, I would highly recommend this company for there fast friendly and helpfull service even the courier who delivered the chairs was a friendly helpful guy who insisted on carrying the boxs to the room of my choice, you couldn't ask for anything better. :))))
This beautiful furniture was delivered on time and unlike some other companies the packaging around it was very extensive which meant that there was no damage whatsoever to the contents.
The parcels turned up in really poor condition and all the fitting screws were loose inside! One screw was missing! The quality of the fabric on the stools was poor to put it mildly!
I ordered an Iowa Birlea Brown Leather Recliner Swivel chair and stool on 16/10/13 for my husbands birthday on 23/10. I emailed on 21/10 to check if everything was ok. Within 2 minutes First Furniture called me back to confirm that it was due to be despatched the next day and I would get a text letting me know a 4 hour window of when it would be delivered. Text received as promised, delivery as promised within the 4 hour window given. Delivery guys were brilliant, helped me unpack and check everything was ok. Probably one of the best internet purchase experiences for me. I read the reviews first and was a little worried about some of the negative reviews - but no need, as service and delivery was brilliant. Many thanks, my husband loves his new chair!
We bought some conservatory furniture. The staff were all friendly and took trouble to make sure that the order was right. It was delivered promptly and in good condition. It was very well packaged. One slight reservation about company policy (not worth losing a star for!) The furniture took a long time to unwrap, so that we could not examine it in the presence of the delivery drivers. We were sorry therefore that we were instructed had to sign for it as 'damaged' rather than 'unexamined' - the delivery people were a little concerned as this was going to be on their database and would reflect badly on them.
Product not quite the quality expected, delivery company failed to deliver to the right address twice, wasting 2 full days waiting for delivery. Someone from another village delivered parcel herself as it was left with her
The goods I ordered was the cheapest on the internet for that particular brand - a nice solid wood bed. The bed arrived on the day I requested (24hr delivery was offered, I turned this down as I was not in) which suited me, 48hr delivery was unexpected on such a large item and considering my location, deepest Cornwall. The bed came well wrapped and was easy to assemble. I cannot fault the cost, delivery and quality, first class product from a first class company.
Purchased Julia Bowen furniture for my oldest daughter, so had no hesitation to buy again as the quality, although flat pack is excellent. The price and service from First Furniture was the best on the net, Excellent.
Item showed as next day delivery on web site so when it was a no show I rang them. They seemed to think that next day means next week! After much debate I was assured that the item was being sent out that day . Of course it didn't arrive. Rang them next day to be told that it would be with me today as unfortunately I wasn't in yesterday.! Girl on the phone sounded at the end of her tether and it was only 9 am. Item arrived at 3 pm and was just what I wanted and the cheapest on the net. All in all great item and price however customer service let them down. If you make a mistake just admit it, no need to make up tales.
First Furniture was very helpful fromthe first phone call to the day of delivery and I would recomend them to anyone on Service Price Delivery and Helpful Sales Personel.
We ordered a cover for a swing seat. This took a bit of time to come and when we opened the package we found the cover was damaged inside the wrapper. We took a photo, sent it by email and followed it up with a phonecall to First Furniture. A young woman said she would sort it out...which she did....and a few days later a replacement arrived. An excellent response. We are very pleased with the service - Because of the the initial hiccup we give it 4 stars. For dealing with the problem so promptly and with so little fuss, we give it 5 stars.
BOUGHT A BED, QUALITY SUPERB. DELIVERY SPOT ON AND DELIVERY GUYS VERY HELPFUL IN ASSISTING ME TO GET THE BED UPSTAIRS.
THE ONLY COMPLAINT I COULD THINK OF WAS THE ASSURANCE THAT THE ERECTION OF THE BED WOULD ONLY TAKE 20 MINUTES. OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T REALISE THEY WERE TALKING TO AN IDIOT. JOKING APART, THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE VERY GOOD AND FINALLY I WAS PROUDLY SURVEYING AN EXTREMELY WELL CONSTRUCTED AND STRONG BED. IT DID HOWEVER TAKE A BIT LONGER THAN 20 MINUTES TO ASSEMBLE.
I ordered a dining room table and chairs on the basis that the delivery date was 5-7 working days (as stated on the website) which was perfect for my circumstances. I placed the order and was told that the order was in the system awaiting despatch. After 10 days and no correspondence I called First Furniture to check that my order would be delivered that weekend to be told that it was out of stock and I would have to wait 7 weeks for it to arrive. No apology was given. I would have expected a pro-active call to inform me of the delay. Since my call I have received an email to say that there is a delay with my order. I responded to this to say that I wasn't particularly happy and have had no response. I work in customer service and out of courtesy I would expect form of communication to say sorry, especially from a reputable company. I jut hope that when my goods arrive there are no problems with them as I don't have the confidence that the matter would be resolved satisfactorily.
Telephoned to ask some questions prior to my purchase and the gentleman was really helpful.Delivery was super quick,item was packaged to ensure safe arrival.

I didn't realise we would have to put it all together - probably my not reading it all properly. I had help from our daughter in law and all was well. however there may be some people who could not do this, so an option of ready made would be good.
HUGE BOX ARRIVED,THE COURIER KINDLY BROUGHT THE BOX INTO THE LOUNGE.JUST GOT ALL THE PIECES ON THE FLOOR,SCRATCHED MY HEAD AND WITHIN 10 MINUTES AM SITTING IN A VERY COMFORTABLE RECLINER WITH MY FEET UP ON THE ACCOMPANYING FOOTSTALL...........IN COMFORT.......................SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE OF THESE AGES AGO.

Excellent delivery service and ease of buying my chair very comprehensive selection of chairs to view online no problems with either delivery or chair compared to another online company that I used when buying the same sort of chair i.e. a massage recliner fairly easy to put together with two people I'm enjoying sitting in it
