First class equipment and first class service

Ordered a cross trainer, delivered on time with adequate warning and a 30 minute in advance telephone call. We do live in the sticks, but two polite men persevered and following a couple of phone calls deliverd the equipment into my study still smiling. Would recommend to friends, have recommended to friends and would definitely use them again. A* from start to finish.

Have bought various items from them in the past and will be my first choice in the future

I would recommend Fitness Superstore as the "GO TO" place for good quality, competitively priced fitness equipment.
They have a wide range of equipment in their showroom which you can try out at your leisure to really be sure that you are comfortable with your purchase. They also have experienced staff on hand to help you make an informed choice. The member of staff who helped me was kind, patient and very knowledgeable and as a result I am more than happy with my purchase. I bought a rowing machine and really look forward to using it every day. Everyone involved in the purchase was kind, friendly and helpful.

worst company to deal with and just fake promises

I have ordered treadmill from Ideal Home show event and I met a sales person called Leone from fitness superstore and it was promised to me that machine will be delivered quickly but nothing has happened and I did tried to chase alot and spoke to the guy called charles plant in head office and he said he will resolve the situation and product is dispatched to the installation team and he provided me two mobile numbers out of one which i tried calling 30 times always on voicemail and other no body picks it up and what a rubbish company it is as they are unable to tell me when my machine will be installed.

I am so upset with there services and now i am thinking to get installation of my machine i have to go through so much of pain what will happen if something is wrong in the machine and how this company is going to provide me after sales service.

I have written 2 emails to charles plant but he is really a good professional as he never have the cutsy to reply to my emails and now what i want is to take this matter further and want to tell about this rubbish fitness superstore and If anyone can suggest me which body i can contact to escalate this matter further as its to much for me and surprisingly they are not able to contact installation team what sort of coordination this company have with there people.

I know this was my biggest mistake to to deal with fitness superstore and now what i am seeking is my refund as they are unable to install my machine and employees of fitness superstore like charles plant no cutsy to reply.

So according to me this company fitness superstore is rubbish and no point dealing with them and I am seeking advice from anyone who can guide me how to escalate this matter with higher authorities so nobody should go through pain as i am going through due to this company.

The worst customer service ever - don't risk using this company

I've bought a two items from this company and both experiences were disappointing and extremely frustrating. The first was a multi gym that took weeks to arrive with zero communication from the company (they don't give you any information when you call them and do not respond to emails). The second purchase was a pre-assembled utility bench that was defective and was eventually replaced with another defective item! I have attempted to get this second defective bench returned and the company has ignored my multiple requests over the last week. I called the company a couple of times and was actually told there was no one to deal with my request as the customer service team was in a meeting. My emails have been ignored. I simply want a refund for a dodgy product!

Don't be fooled, this is a "stack it high, sell it cheap" company with no concern for their customers.

Terrible service

wish I had looked at previous reviews on this company. I also ordered a treadmill from them to be despatched by Panther Logistics. I waited in all day with no word from Fitness superstore that they were in dispute with Panther Logistics. They do not have a customer services only an 'admin' dept and when you call you a re-directed to a random store with no knowledge of your order. I too am chasing my money and would strongly advise against spending your hard earned money with this company. Thet were dismissive of my complaint and did not see fit to rectify by upgrading to weekend delivery/

Stay away. Terrible service.

After discussing the Powertec wb-ls13 with shop staff, I proceeded to buy one. This was all put through and it wasn't until after I paid that the staff member told me that it was out of stock. I was told it would definitely be in the following week. I called the following week to be told it was still not in stock, but would be that Saturday. I then waited until the following Monday and called, only to be told it was not due in for another month and that it was never due in that Saturday. Also, nobody would have contacted me to tell me. That order is now cancelled, although even this took 3 days. Disgraceful service, stay away!!!!!!!!

Installation is a nightmare

I ordered on line and had to chase and chase repeatedly and explain my situation to several different people trying to sort out the installation.

Now, it is not Fitness Superstore staff who do the installation, but they do outsource it.

The guys when they arrived did an OK job.

But for the money I paid for the machine and installation, I expected a huge amount more.

Lowest price available, product arrived on time and in good condition

I bought a table tennis table. Fitness Superstore offered the lowest price available. I was called within a couple of days of placing the order to confirm delivery arrangements. The product arrived on time and in good condition.

Poor Customer Service

I regret that I have had to resort to writing a bad review as a way of making contact with this company, however it seems from looking on this site it is the only way to get a response.
I purchased a Tunturni Rower R25 in late Oct 2013. This was bought as a birthday gift however when the birthday was approaching a few weeks later with no sign of the rower I recontacted the company to be informed I needed to confirm info relating to my credit card. At no point did Fitness Superstore contact me to let me know there was an issue and due to this the machine arrived well past the birthday date. I did not see this as too a big a problem and had found the staff helpful.
Within a month of this rower being in use it broke. I contacted FS on 13\1\14 who got on to the manufacturer tunturni. Two weeks later I still had no contact from the manufacturer and had to chase this directly with tunturni .Almost three weeks after the initial complaint on the 30/1/14 the guys came out to fix the rower, they informed me they only received notice of the job two days before. The rower could not be repaired on site. and so was taken to get new parts. By week 5 I felt I had waited long enough and spoke with Tunturni and requsted my money back. I explained I had huge concerns that I would be getting back an item that has already broken after only a month and it has taken longer than that to repair the item. I was also concerned that should this already faulty item break again I woudld be waiting an unreasonable length of time to get a repair. I was advised that they would follow it up to see what was happening but that I needed to request my money back through FS. I contacted FS to state this and was advised that they would also follow up and get back to me. I recieved a call the following week from Tunturni to say the rower was now repaired and would be returned to me in the "coming weeks". I made it clear that I had now requested my money back and again I was advided to speak with FS. Since this I have made several phone calls, sent emails, and left voice messages to get a refund and I have had no response from fitness superstore. It has been 8 weeks since my original complaint. I am aware of my consumer rights and my complaints are that number one this rower broke within a month of use. I allowed the manafacturer reasonable time to repair the item and it would seem to me that once I began to request my money back only then was there a quick action taken to repair the machine. I still have no machine after all this.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Ordered a treadmill online. Received an email the next day to advise it was out of stock!! I then ordered another model. Didn't hear so chased to be told I owed them some money; when i checked it equated to their 5% online discount code!! I had to provide evidence that I'd actually paid he correct amount.

After further chasing a delivery date was set. Received a delivery tracker but when the delivery time arrived, it advised there was an issue. No one phoned so I called to be advised that the item wasn't placed in the delivery van!! A further delivery was scheduled for today 7.30am to 11.30am; the tracker says driver is slightly delayed but it's now 5.10pm!! The delivery company's head office closed at 1pm and fitness superstore don't have contact details for the driver.

To top it off after the 1st failed delivery, I wrote the company's boss with a complaint. They haven't had the decency to acknowledge my complaint or call me. I'm going to devote tomorrow to writing to watchdog, industry standards , customer review sights and as many forms of social media as possible.

I've never experienced anything like this ever. Please don't make a mistake and deal with this company like I have.
