We booked a 3-night break to Marrakesh. The price was an amazing £199 B&B including transfers and 5* hotel. (The hotel alone should have cost that much!). The booking was painless, (we upgraded to half-board). The flight with Ryan Air ok, (as you expect with Ryan Air. I just wish they’d introduce pre-selected seats). Transfer to hotel seamless. Hotel very good, and return great. No panics no problems. Exactly what you want from a travel agent. Will use again.
Quick and easy booking - although rather annoyed to find I was charged £30 over the easyjet price for speedy boarding. The company's response is that is what they were charged. Easyjet wouldn't comment!!
The holiday to Sharm el sheikh was very enjoyable. One slight problem on our journey back to the airport the Feletway representative dropped us off at the wrong terminal and it was only after queueing for 30 mins to get through the first controls that we discovered this - very annoying to say the least.
Having said the above it would not stop us booking with Fleetway travel again if the price was right.
This is the second year we have used Fleetway for our holiday booking, and are more than pleased with the service received, and the holiday itself. We shall not be contacting any other company, other than Fleetway Travel in the future. Sincere appreciation for yet another job 'well done'
My family of 4 went to the Dominican Rebublic 3 years ago and the service from Fleetway Travel was excellent. So in 2012 when a search engine bought up Sharm El Sheik in Egypt for an amazing price, I was worried that it seemed "Too good to be true". However when the operator was identitifed as "Fleetway" I had no concerns. And I was right!
The travel confirmation process is clear, all transfers were straightforward and the informatin at the hotel was brilliant. Our rep also provided free shuttle transport to the main local attractions.
I won't bother using seengines agin for my next booking- I will just go straight to Fleetway Travel.
Fleetway travel did a very good job on our 2 centre Thailand holiday, supplying everything i requested, best connecting flights, hotels i specified and organised friendly transfers, no problems with any of the details and it all went smoothly.
Having found this company through Google - the best thing I ever did!!!!! Louisa from Fleetway Travel was an absolute gem! I have a disability and where all else had failed to get me the seats I needed for flying, she managed to sort it all out for me, with no troublle whatsoever....... we will NOT be usibng anyone else for our holidays from now on..... if you havnt used Fleetway Travel for your holidays........you havent had the best then, because they are and we are both well travelled..... MANY MANY THANKS........Fay & Dawn Langstaff, Carlisle,Cumbria
Booked a holiday to sharm el sheikh ,from the beginning to the end everything was organised and well executed, constant updates through email prior to leaving .Met off the plane and led through egyptian customs, bag collected and then straight onto bus.Never attended the reps meeting but note put through the door with information and contact details.Updated by hotel phone about pick up arrangement and taken to the airport where we were whipped out of the long queue and straight into the check in and away we went perfect . Would not hestitate to use fleetway again in fact would probably prefer them due to the sevice at the airport
All arrangements very efficiently handled with friendly customer service and advice. It was no problem to customise our stay to make it a few days longer. The Hotel 987 was ideally located near the centre of Barcelona - the buffet breakfast was wonderful! It would have been good to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room - just a minor inconvenience.
I booked a 4 day break for my husbands birthday to Agadir in Morroco. I was a bit hesistant to being with but Fleetway travel put me at ease straightaway. From the advisor on the telephone to the updates received on e-mail I have never experienced such good service from a travel company. We stayed at the Sofitel in Agadir and had 4 days of pure relaxation. The hotel is fantastic and Agadir is such a great place to relax without it being invaded by the british tourist. I will definately look to book with Fleetway again in the near future!
We had a fantastic week at the Savoy in Sharm, Egypt - the hotel itself was wonderful, helpful friendly staff, great facilities, good breakfast, but the deal for the (inclusive) evening meal was not up to standard. It was great that the venues were child friendly, but really, the food quality and the atmosphere was not up to the standard I think Fleetway would want.
Three night break in Marrakech Sofitel. All instructions and bookings by Fleetway were spot on.
Hotel was fantastic.
We did have to wait a while at Marrakech airport while the rep found his final two pickups and it might have been better if we had been taken to the coach to wait there. The rep in our hotel met us, told us when we had to be ready to get the coach back, sold us one trip and then we never saw him again. This didn't really matter to us, but if we had wanted to take another trip or had needed some more advice, it would have been a bit annoying. However, overall the trip represented excellent value for money and I would travel with Fleetway again.
From the moment I made the call to enquire about the holiday to the transfer back to the airport to travel home, Fleetway were fantastic. The agent (Jag) was extremely helpful and I felt very confident booking with Fleetway. I didn't expect that our holiday airport transfer would also be a rep for us during our stay so that was a bonus when our luggage was delayed. He kept in touch and let us know when our luggage had arrived, even taking us to the shopping centre to pick up essentials supplies to tide us over.
The hotel was amazing (Sofiel Marrakech). I would not hesitate to use Fleetway again and have already recommended the company to others. A great service. Thank you.
Making the arrangements with Fleetwaytravel were simple and straightforward.
* Documentation was precise and clear.
* Transfers at Sharm El Sheik to and from the hotel were prompt and helpful.
* Ritz Carlton (our second visit) was simply excellent. Large comfortable room with a view of the coast. Food varied in theme and good quality. All staff, without any exception, were polite and welcoming. The pool arrangements were wonderful - no poolside disco and no need to reserve loungers. We will return via Fleetwaytravel next year. Thank you to all involved we had a wonderful holiday.
No Complaints at all about travel arrangments from fleetway. I would like to point out about the hotel having no emergency exit details anywhere -none displayed at all in the hotel---there was no booklet to tell you what was on offer in the hotel or how to operate the TV etc . The room was lovely and the breakfast good. Easy Jet were poor on finding rooms when airport was closed because of fog -no communication about flights etc got to a hotel at 4-30am after 5 hours of not knowing what was happenning .
We had an incredible 7 day stay at the Sofitel Agadir having extended the original 4 day offer. The hotel was superb and the holiday a complete relaxation.
Our arrival was marred by sitting for over half an hour in the coach whilst the rep tried to find a missing passenger. The journey to the hotel was smooth and about 30 minutes only. We were all asked to complete our registration forms for the Sofitel on the bus and expected rapid access to our room!! We were welcomed and asked to sit in the foyer. It took over an hour to process us!! After a long day's travel that was unacceptable and we told the hotel so.
The return trip was smooth and efficicient. Full marks to Fleetway though apart from the airport delay.
Friends recommended company. No problems at all, booking, travel documents, advice, flights, hotel, transfers to and from hotel all went smoothly.
Dahab is not Sharm-el-sheikh it was quiet and peaceful, it might not be so quiet in high season. Hotel staff,SeaSun Hotel, were excellent, food was OK and plentiful.
Fleetway travel offers vfm value for monney products and services while matching other travel companys on price - the only issue we had was its faceless on occasion because everything is done via the web. However, we have used fleetway annually for some years now and they must be doing something right for us to come back.
we went to the savoy hotel in sharm el sheik for a week everything was fantastic ,we went for a relaxing holiday and we had every thing we could have asked for ,only one critisism and that was we had the half board deal and the atuna mutata where we ate in the evenings was awful, people were friendly and helpful but the savoy and transport cafe actually worse transport cafe normally have taste to their foods ,no very dissapointing ,wouldn,t put me off using fleetway travel or the savoy but would rather go bed and breakfast as we ate out in other restaurants where we paid and the food was fantastic ,it did let the holiday down from being perfect we rate it 4 stars
Our five day break to Rome surpassed our expectations the service excellent from the online booking, flights and Hotel were pleased how effortless it was for us ,everything taken care of .We will definately be recommending Fleetway to friends and family .Thankyou
Our 4 day break to stay at the Sofitel Royal Bay Resort Hotel in Agadir was magic. The British Midland flights were good both ways. The hotel was excellent with very friendly, helpful staff. There was a definite touch of luxury. Good choice of food at breakfast. I enjoyed my massage! I would recommend Fleetway Travel for the excellent booking process and a for providing us with a wonderful holiday at a bargain basement price.
just returned from 5 day break to Agadir - stayed at the sofitel royal bay and had an amazing time , the deal through Fleetway was unbeatable , 5 star hotel and we could nt fault it - will be keeping eyes peeled for more great offers
First class service right from the start. Competitive prices, well laid out website. Friendly staff. Would definitely check Fleetway in the future. Hotel was good and local pick ups to and from the Airport were on time and friendly. Thanks!!!
Savoy Sharm Hotel, Sharm El Sheik
A really lovely hotel - almost as good as European 5 star hotels (just a couple of minor things missing such as a walk-in shower instead of having to climb in the bath, better selection of toiletries in the room, mini-bar not stocked unless you asked for it, a very old TV with poor selection of English programmes and no extract fan in the bathroom). Our room was otherwise excellent and these omissions didn't really spoil our holiday. The beds were soooo comfy, including the pillow which is often too firm in overseas hotels, very sizeable room with tea and coffee making facilities and a large balcony. The hotel itself was very grand with wide sweeping stairways, tasteful decor and plants and built on a gradual slope with lots of floors and mezzanine levels. Unfortunately, those mezzanine levels were where all the guest rooms were situated and because the lifts didn't stop at those levels, guests were required to always walk either up or down a floor to reach their room. Fine for us, but added to the poor lighting in the front drive of the hotel (and cobbled driveway) I don't think the hotel is really suitable for people with walking difficulties, in particular for anyone in a wheelchair. There are lots of levels outside in the gardens and although there is a sloping pathway all the way down to the beach, some areas may be inaccessible by wheelchair.
The gardens and pool areas are particularly beautiful and there are plenty of sun-loungers available. In high season I expect there's a bit of a rush to secure a good spot, but there will be fewer shady areas as the sun will be higher. The sun-loungers were definitely in need of replacement or at least renovation - in other 5 star hotels visited in the Red Sea area I have found much more comfortable sun-loungers that usually have padded mattresses and better designed mechanisms for raising the back support to different angles. The Savoy sun-loungers mostly have broken plastic 'swivels' that control the position of the back rest, broken 'strings' for raising them easily, and are generally most uncomfortable for reading in a semi-recumbent position.
The eating and drinking facilities at the hotel are excellent - pool bar, beach bar and seafood restaurant very good though slightly slow service - not a bad thing really when you're on holiday. In fact when we dined in the Hot Rock Caligula restaurant one evening, the service was so attentive and fast that we felt positively rushed. Having said that though - I could only praise all of the hotel staff - they are clearly very well trained and well looked after (I overheard one of the English staff speaking very highly of the good facilities and attitude towards the staff). The Guest Relations service is a very good idea and they perform an invaluable service.
Our trip was a 'Fleetway Travel' package and we unfortunately fell for the offer of a special dining upgrade (from B & B) to include inclusive dining at the Soho Square Akuna Matata - which was sold to us as the choice between 8 various restaurants, but which in fact turned out to be a tacky dimly lit food court. You may be familiar with this sort of dining from the large shopping malls where you select your type of food from a range of outlets, normally set around a square or semi-circular area where you can see more or less what's on offer at a glance. However, at Akuna Matata, you have to go into each 'outlet' to see what's available but most of the outlets only had a menu and not a display of the food itself. We finally chose - do you know, I can't even remember what we chose actually; all I remember is that it was disgusting! Drinks are served by a waiter, but he didn't bring the drinks until we had finished - sorry, pushed aside, the dreadful plateful.
This is when the 'Guest Relations' service at The Savoy came to our rescue. They gave us detailed information about other dining options, including a 25% discount at all the other Soho Square restaurants (of which the Steak House was particularly good -such fantastic steaks!) or to upgrade at a special rate because we were 'Fleetway Travel' guests, to Half Board at the hotel - which we did for the last three days.
The food at the hotel was very superior - although not all the restaurants were open at that time of year. The Hot Rock restaurant was very interesting if you've never experienced cooking your own meat at the table on a 'hot stone' - bit smokey (like going to a barbecue!) but the meat was excellent. The Rosamarino restaurant was our favourite (Italian). Shame we didn't get a chance to experience one of their other restaurants but as I said they don't open them all when the hotel is not full.
Overall I would say that this was a wonderful place to stay, particularly in February or March when the weather is very pleasant - warm enough during the day to sunbathe and cool in the evenings so comfortable temperature for sleeping without the air-conditioning. My comments above are only really minor observations, and are little things the hotel could do to improve their service without major cost. The 'Fleetway Tours' dining upgrade to evening meal at Akuna Matata was the most disappointing aspect, and although I don't feel that we were necessarily misled or mis-sold the offer (maybe Fleetway don't know what it’s actually like there), another time I would definitely go half board or S class (all inclusive).
Just returned from 14 day holiday to Sunningdale Village,Golf Del Sur,Tenerife booked through Fleetway Travel. We found everything went smoothly from the booking to the return flight.Apartment was excellent, facilities first class and wonderful weather.Flights to and from Luton with Thomson airways were on time and despite some reports we found sufficient legroom even for my 6 foot partner. We will not hesitate to use Fleetway Travel for our future holidays.
I have just returned from a 3 day break to the Algarve, a place i have been many times.
From the start of the booking process, everything was made easy. The Flights, Transfers and Hotel were recommended to me by one of your agents, and i could not fault any of them. We stayed at the Hotel De Serro in the Old town of Albufeira, and although on quite a steep hill, everything was excellent. Even the weather which was lucky for this time of the year :-)
I will be booking my next holiday with Fleetway Travel
Thanks Liz Kildare
My girlfriend and I took a 4 night break to Agadir in Feb/Mar 2012, to the immaculate 5 star Sofitel Hotel. Great arrangements from the flight to the Hotel, but most of all, I have to rate the level of care and attention from the staff of the Hotel. I will be returning to Agadir and probably to the same Hotel, but most of all, I found a new travel company for me, namely Fleetway Travel which offers great deals, great service and excellent attention to detail, to ensure (what at times can be a stressful process), booking a holiday, was a smooth experience. Well done to all at Fleetway! Dr A Sharman, Canterbury
We took a four day break (which felt like a week) to Agadir in Morocco.
From the outset every thing went smoothly, a great flight with British Midland, met at the airport and transported to the Sofitel in Agadir which was terrific with fantastic service and attention to detail (and perfect weather) a great return flight. All for an unbeatable price. We couldn't believe our luck, well done Fleetway.
I'll be keeping my eyes firmly fixed on Fleetway Travel and their great offers in the future.
