This is in reference to my Flipkart Order #OD30624073773 I had ordered a Sony Experia L worth Rs 17700 on 24 June 2013. Surprisingly, the package that got delivered today i.e 29 June 2013 contained Nokia Lumia 510 worth Rs 7500. I am really surprised as to how the Sony Xperia got transformed into Nokia Lumia 510. Contacting the Customer Care(CC) in itself is like fighting a war. Once the call got connected to CC, the IVRS kept me waiting for 3-4 mins everytime. Finally lady luck shined on me and I got through to a human voice. By the time I explained my problem to the concerned individual, there was total silence from the other end, and very conveniently the call used to end on its own. Had it happened once or twice I would have definitely understood. But the same thing happened 4 times in a row. That was almost 30mins of futile exercise on my part to be able to speak to someone from CC. Since I was at the receiving end because I made the cardinal mistake of ordering a product through Flipkart, I had no choice but to try to contact CC again. Finally somehow I got connected and explained my problem to the CC executive. I was told that my complaint has been raised to the concerned team and I would be hearing from them shortly. Correct my knowledge of time if I am wrong, but I always thought “shortly” meant something like 10mins, or 20mins or 1hr or max 2hrs. But alas, the folks at Flipkart follow some other time pattern, because even after 3 hrs of speaking to the CC executive, I was left high and dry waiting for their call. With no option left for me, I again got into the rigmarole of contacting the CC. This time I was told that the faulty items delivered to me would have to be sent back to the retailer through courier, and then he would ship me the new product. Asking about the time frame that it would take for this process to complete, I was told that it would take another 3-4 days. Now someone please explain this to me: -Time for the courier guy to pick the faulty product from my home they say is 24-48 hrs. -Time for it to be couriered back to reseller: 2 days. -Time for the reseller to ship me the new product: 1 day -Time for the new product to reach my house in Jabalpur: 4 days. Total time reqd: 8-9 days starting from tomorrow. And still they say it would take max 4 days for me to receive a replacement. Folks at Flipkart really have to get their mathematics right. I calmly told the CC executive that if that is the time that it would take for the replacement, then I would like to cancel my order today, and place a fresh order so that it gets delivered at my place in next 4 days. Now come the best part. I was told“Sir, you cannot cancel the order because you have already received the product.” My questions are very simple and basic: 1. Is it my fault that I got the wrong product delivered? 2. Why can’t I cancel my order right now, since I have been delivered a faulty product? 3. Why should I wait another 10 days to get a replacement for no fault of mine own? 4. What about the waste of time and waste of effort that I have to put in, just to ensure that what I ordered gets delivered to me ? 5. What about the mental agony that I had to face because of all this? As I was writing this mail I got a call from someone in Flipkart identifying himself as the team leader. And all he told me was “Sir I understand your concern, I apologize, but there is nothing that we can do. You have to wait for next 8-10 days for the delivery of your goods.” What am I supposed to feel after hearing from him? All I can understand is that the guys at Flipkart are holding me for a ransom. I made the complete payment, I gave the complete address, and now I am being made to suffer because of this. I really don’t know whether flipkart would even read this mail or not. But they have left me with no choice.
Till now I have experienced many deliveries from Flipkart, all of them have been excellent. Great packaging, great customer support, great return policy , spot delivery timelines. Of all the online shopping in India, Flipkart is the best.... infact none others are even near to the matuirity, efficiency and professionalism that Flipkart has. I wish Flipkart all the best, if your company spirit remains the same then you will growi progressively
Today I had the worst experience ever and I can assure you that it has left a bitter taste. One of your courier guys came today when he was supposed to come on Friday. And when I initiated payment through debit card, my card did not read. He started abusing me in front of my office staff. As this was an office setting he was lucky to escape unhurt, otherwise things would have been very different. He also told me in the end "Ukhad le jo ukhadna hai" I have been a loyal customer of Flipkart with total transcation amounting to 50,000 so far. And this experience has made sure that I never do business with Flipkart ever AGAIN!!

i had ordered samsung galaxy s4 with the right address and everything. And they said the address is wrong. complete rubbish!!!! i have been dying to get d phone and still haven't got it. Never buy high value items from this site. It sucks!!! The customer care lady also won't help! utterly disgusting experience!
Have had a history of flipkart not being able to deliver high value items. their business model seem to be to source their working capital from customers who use credit cards to make payments. They list items without bothering to check if they are in stock and then the excuse is that they weren't able to procure the item and the order stands cancelled. this entire cycle from the day the order is placed to the funds being refunded to the customer's credit card takes anywhere between 21 to 28 days (sometimes even longer). Flipkart obviously is able to use these funds for this period without having to pay any interest for the period it kept the customer's money with them. This reeks of a scam given the fact that it has happened to one customer on three different ocassions (me). Flipkart must have thousands of customers whose orders must be getting cancelled on a regular basis. RBI should frame guidelines which prevent companies like Flipkart from holding on to customer's funds free of cost - they should be made to pay interest if they cancel the order. Ideally at an exorbitant rate since the credit card interest rates are exorbitant.

I had to order the same product 4 times just because i was not present at home the time shipment came.These people do not even call before coming.They just land up directly at your door n then complain.Listen you flipkart people,we are not available 24/7 for u.We r not that free.And once we miss the shipment,these people never re attempt to send the product.You just keep on following them on calls and everyday lame promises they will give.Hopeless site.
This is my first experience of Flipkart in which i want to say in one sentence that it is third class service. i ordered a Antivirus from Flipkart but unfortunately it was very bad experience. in the Site of Flipkart it shows that it will deliver within 2-3 working days. i ordered my order on 17th March 2013 but till 23rd of March its not been deliver the order. I requested to deliver earlier between 21st and i have been committed that it will be done as an urgent request. After Complaining they told me that it is my area(where i stays) problem. there is no coordination between First flight courier and Flipkart. and lastly when complained they raise their hand and smoothly says it will take 2-3 days more hopefully reach @ 25th of March. still waiting for the order..........................!!!!!!!!!
On flipkart i purchased a zebronics mouse which i received within 3 working days but when i plug it on my laptop it was not working ... though that was not a grt surprise for me.. I told them about the faulty product ,they replaced the product within 4 days.. Then i started looking for other sites which offers best deal ... After that i came across with two sites One is Snap deal and another one is Mydeals247.com. Snapdeal is similar to facebook but in mydeals247.com you can negotiate with seller and can get it at a cheaper price..
I ordered a USB 3.0 16GB pen drive on 18 Dec 2012. I received a faulty pendrive on 22 Dec 2012. So I mailed flipkart CS team that my pendrive is n't working and asking them what I should do to get it replaced(I was expecting the whole process to take a few mails going back and forth and then finally sending the faulty item to them which they will inspect and then provide a replacement). This mail was sent at around 12 AM on a saturday. When I woke up on sunday the (at around 5.30) the first thing I saw was my PC showing a new mail notification. I opened the mail and it was from flipkart.
"Sorry for the inconvenience... Blah blah blah.... ... we have already accepted ur replacement request and the replacement will be delivered to you within 8 working days.".
The next day 24 Dec 2012 I received an update saying that the replacement product has been shipped and the mail provided tracking details. I received the replacement on 27 Dec 2012. This time the pen drive worked. They replaced my product just because I sent a mail to them saying that it is faulty.(Period). They didn't even asked what was the problem... try this.. try that....
Guys Flipkart service is awesome.. I ve purchased plenty of items from flipkart. This was the only time I had to ask for a replacement. Even then I am extremely happy with the service they provided me.
Pathetic Service,selling faulty products I ordered a Philips LED TV from flipKart. They sent us a faulty adapter,its been 15 days and till today ive not received my refund or new adapter. The TV is lying Dead.I wrote them so many times and called them too,but no success. I bought this TV for surveillance purpose for our CCTV Cameras,and now everything is on halt...
Flipkart is biggest online fraud company one can ever come across.They take money from u by showing cheaper deals on their website. Sit on ur money for 10 days then give u call saying product is out of stock and they will refund money in next 10 days Ultimately sit on your money for almost a month Never deal with them
Before ordering a white-color laptop(40K) on flipkart, I called their customer care, whether the product would be able to deliver by 7th Dec'12. They repeatedly assured me it would, it' wont be a problem. I told them it's a gift it should be reached around then. On 7th Dec'12, they call me and say white is not available, u can take black. I refused and they themselves told me we cannot complete your order, would refund the money. Their customer support regarding this has been horrible and they are full of sugar-coated words and lies. And they were least bothered that the order has to be cancelled.
Lesson No. 1 : Never buy anything expensive. They are not honest nor can be trusted. I am saying with my experience with their customer support. Also one peculiar thing about Flipkart, they do not have complaint addressal to higher authority. You can just talk to Customer Care. No information of headquarters like we have in mobile services - nodal officer, circle officer, etc.
Lesson No.2: Never trust the Delivery date promise. They cannot even deliver books on time.
Lesson No.3: In my opinion, never buy anything from Flipkart. Even if you do always choose cash on delivery.
Flipkart is utterly non-sense company. Please don't buy anything. Ebay India is far far better than Flipkart.
Flipkart is very clever, but they think you’re not. So the first time you register and order something, they make sure they deliver on time, send tracking SMS, and get some three different people to call you and ask if you received the product (even though they know for sure you did), if you liked it, and even if the family’s doing ok. They evidently assume that with this follow up, you’ll be comfortable enough to order again. Then they f**k you over.
I confess, I fell for it the first time, and ordered again. A net-banking order on the 3rd of Nov, for a washing machine worth approximately 15k. A confirmation SMS was sent immediately, saying they had taken my money successfully. The waiting time for delivery was published as 8 working days from the date of the order. Factoring weekends and even a long Diwali break, i decided i’d wait patiently for almost 15 days from the 3rd. On the 19th of Nov, i called their ’customer support’ number. I spoke with someone called Sapna, who made me wait for about 9 minutes before she told me that they were ’unable to procure my order’, and therefore I should cancel it. When I asked when I’d get my money back, i was nonchalantly told that it would take ’7 to 10 working days’, or i could opt for a ’wallet transfer’ (which i assume means they keep my money against future purchases) and that would take a minimum of two days. I asked to speak with someone from the company. I was put on hold for another 7 minutes. And then she comes back on the line and says ’didn’t you receive a mail from us?’, duh, obviously i didn’t, and thats why I’m calling, i say. She goes away for another three minutes, then comes back, tells me she ’understands my difficulty’, and she will ’arrange a call back’.
End result: They took my order and my money, kept it for 16 days, forgot about it till i called, then pretended they had sent me a mail that of course i never got, said i could cancel my order but they’d still keep my money for another 10 days (one month interest free) told me they’d call back, which they didn’t, and best of all, EVEN NOW, MY ORDER STATUS ON THEIR WEBSITE STILL SAYS PROCESSING! And yeah... waiting through the diwali season for a new washing machine that was never going to be delivered in the first place, i missed all the Diwali offers as well.
Ok, so they do a lot of fancy (and expensive) advertising where they imply that they treat their customers like whimsical children. So i ask you, ever tried making your child wait for something and then forgotten to give it to him/her??? No matter how well your child is brought up, he/she will either throw a tantrum (best case), or crap all over your favorite sofa (worst case). In this case, I think Im going to be badly brought up, and i urge everyone reading this to be that way too.
I wanted to order 18 books and to ensure I get it on time, I called them to place an order. Saurabh from the group sales confirmed that the books were in stock and I would get it by time. Then he goes ahead and places the order as 3 different orders.
I get an email after a day that they are able to deliver only few books and the other will take 4-7 business days, which goes way beyond my deadline for getting the books.
I call them up and all they can say is it was in stock and now its not. How can a book which was in stock suddenly not be anymore. When someone orders dont they block the ones they have in stock. I am sure the books were not in stock and they just assumed they would be able to get it.
All the supervisor went on saying is that they are sorry but cannot do anything to make sure my order is fulfilled.
This is really bad service from them. If they don't have the stock they should not take the order. This is a waste of time where I could have procured the book from someone else, but now I don't have enough time because I trusted they would deliver on time.
Hi Guys..Flipkart really sucks theses days..I purchased many items from them..I am residing in a village area in kerala..Flipkart was sending those packages near my home in the past..Yesterday when I tried to buy a new item,they says they cant send the goods to that address,which was done in the past..I emailed them and they say there was a recent change in their company policies,so the pincode is emitted from their list..Books can be delivered anywhere...But guys for books only ,we got better options like bookadda..they are selling cheaper than flipkart and delivery is very fast(coz I booked one in flipkart for which it took 12 days to get..but bookadda sent me the same with in 4 days)..I initially thought its a good site..but now came to know that its another lame site who after getting at a good position,the only concern is making money rather than quality service..
