Ordered flowers for mothers day from what looked like a reasonable online florists how wrong was I?? The flowers arrived when they were supposed to brilliant just what id asked for then received a text from my mother saying thank you for the flowers but they are half dead.....WHAT? She sent me a picture and they were not what I ordered I had paid for 12 yellow roses (my mums favourite) received freesias dead ones. I contacted them via facebook saying "Just to let you know that I will never be ordering from you again I am totally appaled with what my mum has received from you I ordered yellow roses and she received an absolute mess they are not yellow roses and are half dead. flowers picked from the road side are in better condition than what ive received!" Flowerfete replied with "please accept our sincerest apologies and we are extremely sorry for any inconvenience caused. We have experienced extremely high volumes of orders and up grades have been made and the closest substitutes have been sent out in replacement, we are extremely sorry for any inconvenience caused and understand your frustration please accept our sincerest apologies and a re-send will be arrange for you, many thanks Flowerfete." Okay fair enough they tried but would of been nice for them to send me an email explaining first.....anyway its now 3 weeks after mothers day and my poor mum still hasnt received her roses and now Flowerfete are not answering my messages :( if I was you I wouldnt order from this company!
Ordered flowers three weeks advance of mothers day. They did not arrive late - they just never arrived. Tried to get in contact via email, phone and the online support system several times with absolutely no response. Ridiculous company, do not order from them.
Unfortunately I have had the same experience as previous reviewers, one Mum did receive 'flowers', I use that term loosely, on Monday evening and not the Saturday as ordered a fortnight in advance of Mothers Day, was mortified and so embarrassed when my own Mum received nothing at all! Of course they took the money immediately after order was placed. Flowerfete is attached to Global Gifts Ltd which seems to have a healthy bank balance, no wonder, the money is all ours!!!! Do not use this company!!!!
My son ordered & paid for flowers for mother's day. The flowers never arrived I phoned this thieving lying company 3 times all of the times I was waiting for approx. 20mins on a 0845 number. They assured me they would give my son a full refund & send me a deluxe bouquet both of which didn't happen. I have reported this company to consumer rights & they said they will investigate. PLEASE PEOPLE DON NOT GIVE THESE THIEVES ANYMORE OF YOUR WELL EARNED MONEY, UTTER DISGRACE....
I ordered a bunch of chrisanths/Gerberas in yellow and orange £16.99 with a small box of chocs. Mum received a bunch of closed lilies which look absolutely diabolical. I have emailed, phoned and as now in contact with paypal as obviously not going to get anywhere here. So upset that a special day was ruined buy a bunch of con artists. Have also noticed on the paypay conformation that they have another site, It is IFLORIST.CO.UK DO NOT USE.
I am unfortunately another customer who has been duped by this company. There website looks professional but they are not. They make false claims on their website. I ordered some flowers for Mother's Day- and guess what, she didn't receive them even though they claimed to be delivered! I have since tried to contact them by email and phone to raise my complaint but no one wants to answer.
Paid a lot of money to get 6 okish roses and a sprig of lilies......and the extra special teddy...GUESS WHAT...wasn't there. specified on delivery card there should have been a teddy, but not in box when delivered. They have completed ruined what was meant to be a very special family moment. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. ... THEY WILL LET YOU DOWN AND GRAB YOUR MONEY, and they are impossible to get in touch with. I have tried phoning and sent countess emails..to no avail. Raised a dispute with pay pal...awaiting outcome.
I bought flowers for my mum for Mother's Day I ordered 24 yellow roses I paid £25 for them they arrived on the sat I decided to have a look To make sure they where ok well I'm glad I did What I received where 12 half dead tulips I tried phoning customer service which just puts you through to an answer machine no one gets back to you I tried the live chat email I even had to resort to posting it on there Facebook page which was swiftly deleted I was told I would receive a full refund which I have not I have been on Facebook today again with no joy there are so many complaints about this company I just wish I had looked sooner please do not order from this company you will be very disappointed and left out of pocket!!!!!
I ORDERED SOME FLOWERS FOR MOTHERS DAY. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE USED THEM. I PAID £16.89 INCLUDING DELIVERY. THE FLOWERS WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN DELIVERED TO MY MOM ON SATURDAY 29TH MARCH 2014 BUT THEY DIDN'T ARRIVE & TWO DAYS LATER STILL HAVEN'T. THE AMOUNT WAS TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT A DAY AFTER MY ORDER WAS PUT THROUGH WHICH WAS ON FRIDAY 28TH MARCH 2014.
I HAVE EMAILED FLOWERFETE SEVERAL TIMES, RAISED A TICKET SEVERAL TIMES AND RANG THEM MANY TIMES ONLY TO GET A VOICEMESSAGE TELLING ME THAT NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE MY CALL AND THAT I SHOULD EMAIL THEM INSTEAD!
I VERY MUCH DOUBT THIS ORDER WILL ARRIVE AT ALL SO I HAVE SENT AN EMAIL TO LANCASHIRE TRADING STANDARDS AND GOT AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE TELLING ME IF NEEDED TO REPORT THE TRADING PRACTICES OF A BUSINESS THEN I NEED TO ADDRESS MY COMPLAINT TO THE CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU CONSUMER SERVICE.

I would never use this company. Mothers day flowers arrived, 4 of the flower heads had fallen off, they truly looked like something in the reduced for quick sale bucket at the local garage forecourt. Opened the chocolate's, white with age, sell by date was 2 years over due. Gift card expired 31st December 2013. Of course I lied to my son and daughter in law, they would have been mortified sending me a gift of such shabby quality. This is a company waiting to be busted on some consumer program. Shame on you.
My daughter bought me what were supposed to be a beautiful bunch of freesias from Flowerfete for Mother's Day. The parcel did arrive on time, but where were the freesias? Instead, I unwrapped what looked like a large bunch of weeds, which already seemed dead.
If my daughter hadn't asked me to send her a photo of the flowers I would probably have pretended that they were lovely so as not to upset her, but as it was I had to tell the truth: that I wouldn't have bought a bunch of these if they were being sold off cheaply at the end of the day from a market stall. I certainly would never have paid serious money for them, and I would never give anyone such a shoddy bunch of flowers.
The reviews online for this company are largely terrible anyway, but I can't help wondering how much worse they would be if the recipients of these floral "gifts" were to feel able to tell the givers the truth about what they received in the post.
I therefore feel that the company may be taking advantage of recipients' reluctance to tell gift-givers what dreadful "flowers" they paid money for – and in good faith. My daughter said that not only were the flowers not what she'd ordered, but the card wasn't the one she'd chosen either, just to add insult to injury.
I really think Trading Standards ought to investigate this company, judging by how many bad reviews there are across the internet. In my case, Flowerfete have managed to turn what should have been a pleasant experience into a really awkward, unpleasant and upsetting one, for both me and my daughter. I agree with all the other reviews you pick a product and then they send whatever they like that is nothing like what you picked and don't tell you leaving you look bad in the recipient's eyes. Live chat bought up such scary warnings, no one answers the phone stock e-mail response.
I've ordered flowers for mothers day but no idea if the order has gone through or not, no email confirmation, no response to my email queries. i only wish i had checked the reviews first i never would of ordered with them and i certainly wouldnt again !!!!
I ordered some flowers for my mothers birthday and they never arrived. Three days later my mother found them in the bin! the delivery man didn't find anyone in so he put them in the bin! The flowers looked nothing like the picture and were broken and mostly wilted! Absolutely ruined the surprise and my mother ended up scraping horrible flowers out of the (brown) bin! So disappointed... Customer Service just awful, just offering more disappointing flowers! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! STAY AWAY! I think it would have been better to have popped into Sainsburys and got a lovely bunch of flowers there....
Have got confirmed delivery date, then got UPS tracking number, that stated different delivery date. Contacting support didnt help at all, they have sent me a 5quid voucher (which I guess doesnt buy a single item there, so it means I would need to place new order with them). On the phone they told me that the Terms and Conditions state a delivery to be made in 5 days. Understand - only after 5 days you may complain. I actually read those T&C, they can be interpreted in a way that the company is not obliged to deliver anything.... They also wouldnt cancel the order, because it is in transit. So MAYBE my mother is getting her Bday flowers and Champange 4 days later. I hope she wont. I hope I can still cancel it. My bank wont cancel the payment also. I paid 39 pounds for frustration and disapointment The girl at their call centre DID NOT answer a question If she would order the flowers over FlowerFete and that basically sums up
Ordered basket of fruit for my daughter-in-law after major back surgery thought it would be different than sending flowers. First delivery date missed their reason was " tramsision error " and would give me £5 voucher to,use the next tome I shopped with them. Delivery date re-arrange for the follow week yet again m delivery and this time no response to email asking where and when could I expected delivery of the goods. Baske eventually arrived 2 weeks late and from the description of the contents of basket it appear fruit was mostly passed it's sell buy date. Surly there must be some official body that complaints can be sent to and Flowerfete should be made to. Lean up their act or close the business. How I wished I had read the reviews before I placed my order, I'll remember in look at reviews in future before placing an order with any other company.
I have to say I am very happy with both the quality and the quantity of the flowers received. However this company seriously needs to get its act together as they sent two lots of flowers to my address when I only paid for one. Cant really fault it. Judging by the negative reviews and the buy one get one accidentally free offer they don't actually have, they aren't going to be in business for very much longer. Cant give them a poor rating because the service I received was more than satisfactory. Would I order from them again ? if I am honest I wouldn't after reading the reviews it does seem they are prone to problems, however Its always nice to get a freebee ! thanks Flowerfete !
I ordered white Julia orchids. Purple orchids were delivered but customer service was good and eventually white orchids were delivered (not Julia orchids!). I decided to give them one more chance and ordered white angel orchids for my sister Angela who had been an angel while I was abroad. Yellow orchids were delivered! Customer service was extremely rude and I was told that "terms and conditions" applied and any substitute could be sent! The supervisor was not available. I am very upset and disappointed and utterly disgusted with the appalling service offered and would advise anyone against using this company. PS I decided to phone again and was given the customer service manager's e mail address. She replied promptly and courteously and has promised to deliver the angel orchids to my sister as soon as they are available next week and has given me a discount code for any future order. I cannot fault her response and would urge dissatisfied customers to try my approach. The quality of the flowers is generally excellent.
I ordered some of the carnations for my Mum, and despite the flowers being delivered on time they were APPALLING. They looked nothing like the images and there were only 10 stems not 12. They were very thin and droopy. Very very very disappointed, £9.99 definitely wasted :(
Terrible service - flowers ordered for a 50th birthday did not turn up on day required - finally turned up 3 days later. Customer service awful - queue for ages to try and get through then you get cut off. 'Instant' webchat just as bad - appears to be totally unmanned despite the website 'blurb' stating 'We're online around the clock most of the time, so there's always someone waiting to answer your question or facilitate your request.' Wish i'd taken more heed of the reviews below. Would have given zero stars if it was an option AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
