Ordered basket of fruit for my daughter-in-law after major back surgery thought it would be different than sending flowers. First delivery date missed their reason was " tramsision error " and would give me £5 voucher to,use the next tome I shopped with them. Delivery date re-arrange for the follow week yet again m delivery and this time no response to email asking where and when could I expected delivery of the goods. Baske eventually arrived 2 weeks late and from the description of the contents of basket it appear fruit was mostly passed it's sell buy date. Surly there must be some official body that complaints can be sent to and Flowerfete should be made to. Lean up their act or close the business. How I wished I had read the reviews before I placed my order, I'll remember in look at reviews in future before placing an order with any other company.
I have to say I am very happy with both the quality and the quantity of the flowers received. However this company seriously needs to get its act together as they sent two lots of flowers to my address when I only paid for one. Cant really fault it. Judging by the negative reviews and the buy one get one accidentally free offer they don't actually have, they aren't going to be in business for very much longer. Cant give them a poor rating because the service I received was more than satisfactory. Would I order from them again ? if I am honest I wouldn't after reading the reviews it does seem they are prone to problems, however Its always nice to get a freebee ! thanks Flowerfete !
I ordered white Julia orchids. Purple orchids were delivered but customer service was good and eventually white orchids were delivered (not Julia orchids!). I decided to give them one more chance and ordered white angel orchids for my sister Angela who had been an angel while I was abroad. Yellow orchids were delivered! Customer service was extremely rude and I was told that "terms and conditions" applied and any substitute could be sent! The supervisor was not available. I am very upset and disappointed and utterly disgusted with the appalling service offered and would advise anyone against using this company. PS I decided to phone again and was given the customer service manager's e mail address. She replied promptly and courteously and has promised to deliver the angel orchids to my sister as soon as they are available next week and has given me a discount code for any future order. I cannot fault her response and would urge dissatisfied customers to try my approach. The quality of the flowers is generally excellent.
I ordered some of the carnations for my Mum, and despite the flowers being delivered on time they were APPALLING. They looked nothing like the images and there were only 10 stems not 12. They were very thin and droopy. Very very very disappointed, £9.99 definitely wasted :(
Terrible service - flowers ordered for a 50th birthday did not turn up on day required - finally turned up 3 days later. Customer service awful - queue for ages to try and get through then you get cut off. 'Instant' webchat just as bad - appears to be totally unmanned despite the website 'blurb' stating 'We're online around the clock most of the time, so there's always someone waiting to answer your question or facilitate your request.' Wish i'd taken more heed of the reviews below. Would have given zero stars if it was an option AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
I am currently travelling in India, and was away for Valentines Day 2014. So I ordered a nice-looking bouquet of a dozen red roses for my wife, and a dozen cream roses for my kids. I also ordered vases for both bouquets at an additional cost. The order was placed Feb 12th, and I received the emails to confirm my order.
Feb 14th came, and only the red-rose bouquet was delivered - and the vase was smashed to pieces!
I tried to call through, but kept getting the 'all operators are currently busy, please try later', message. So I requested live chat, and logged a ticket, only to receive an email telling me someone would get back to me in the next 3 days (!), so I continued to call and call until finally I got a 'please hold for the next available operator' message... After being on hold for about 20 minutes, finally got to talk to someone.
They arranged a refund of the smashed vase, and told me that the order for the cream roses was not accepted by dispatch for some reason, and that they would take the cost of the bouquet and vase and use it to place an order for a non-rose bouquet at a local florist to ensure Valentines Day delivery. I agreed, but as of Sunday 16th Feb still no flowers were received.
I have just requested a full-refund - let's see what happens.
iFlorist successfully ruined valentines day for my kids - I personally would never use them again... For anyone who says anything stupid like "I don't know what all the fuss is about" - you got lucky! Trust me, you would know EXACTLY what all the fuss was about if it was YOUR order that got screwed up!
THIS COMPANY IS A DISGRACE. FLOWERS AS PER PICTURES BEAR NO RESEMBLANCE TO THE WEEDS AND STEMS THEY ACTUALLY SUPPLY. NUMEROUS E MAILS AND PHONE CALLS TO THEM AS THEY REQUESTED AND NOT ONE OF THE PROMISED CALL BACKS. WENT TO ALL THE EFFORT GETTING THE RECIPIENT TO SEND ME PHOTOS OF THE WEEDS THEY RECEIVED AND PASSED IT ON TO THE COMPLAINTS ADDRESS THEY TOLD ME TO SEND THE PHOTO'S TO. THEY DID IN ONE CALL ADMIT THEY HAD RECEIVED THE PHOTO'S AND WOULD SORT THE PROBLEM OUT, AS USUAL THEY DID NOTHING. I CONTACTED THEM TODAY AND THEY DENY HAVING RECEIVED THE PHOTO'S. THIS WILL NOW BE PASSED ON TO TRADING STANDARDS BECAUSE THEY HAVE SHOWN THEMSELVES TO BE INCOMPETENT AND DIS-HONEST. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM. THE FLOWERS ARE A DISGRACE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS RUDE AND TOTALLY IGNORANT. TRY ASKING TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER, THEY DO NOT WANT YOU TO SPEAK TO ONE AND MAKE IT DIFFICULT AND TIME CONSUMING TO EVEN GET AN EMAIL ADDRESS.....WHY IS THAT DO YOU THINK?, COULD IT BE THE MANAGERS ARE IGNORANT ALSO AND WANT TO AVOID ADMITTING THEY ARE RUNNING AN AWFUL COMPANY, THAT'S THE ONLY CONCLUSION I CAN COME TO. ONCE AGAIN BUYER BEWARE.
I placed an order for delivery on Christmas Eve. 2 bouquets to the same address to include vase and chocolates.
I had received a discount code from them by email which I added in the correct box.
Issue 1... No discount applied
Issue 2... 2 delivery charges charged, despite being 1 order going to 1 person
Issue 3... They ignore customer complaints
Issue 4... Calling customer service is going to be costly as you will be on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes (42 minutes on one call, 68 on a second) On the 68 minutes on hold I then received a message saying the offices are now closed (just after 12 noon on a Saturday afternoon)
Issue 5 Was promised a call back by a manager (Jack) who, obviously didn't call back. Was at the same time promised a call back when they spoke to the courier (remarkably this didn't happen)
They state on their website that they have 100% customer satisfaction... Is this 100% once we ignore our customers issues?
I will on Monday be contacting trading standards as this claim on their website, and the overcharging, and failure to deliver I have encountered constitutes fraud.
I would advise others to also contact trading standards so the full extent of their operation becomes clear.

I paid for my order on Dec 17th, I opted for guaranteed delivery of flowers on Dec 21st, they were not delivered. I was concerned there was a problem with my order on Dec 19th as it wasn't showing in the 'order history' on FlowerFete website, so I sent query email to email@example.com - I received an automated reply directing me to a 'ticket' at https://support.iflorist.com/ - 5 days later and I've still not yet received any response to my emails. I wish now that I'd checked reviews here and on other similar websites by countless disappointed customers, this company shouldn't be taking payments if they have no intention of fulfilling orders or responding to emails, it states on FlowerFete website: "Our customer service team are available by email around the clock" - this is complete rubbish. My Paypal payment went through to Colonial Gifts Ltd - iflorist.co.uk, beware as this is the same company as FlowerFete !! I've filed a claim for refund via Paypal which has now been escalated, I'm still yet to receive a single response from this company of cowboys - DO NOT RISK DISAPPOINTMENT INSTEAD OF 'GUARANTEED FLOWERS'.

Had 18 roses sent as an unexpected thank you, What a disappointment within a day they were looking very sad, the next day several roses started to loose petals and the following day brown appeared on more than one of the blooms. Phoned saying how disappointed I was and offered to send photographic evidence, was given an email address (after the young lady had looked it up!) to send the pics to. that was 6 days ago I'm still waiting for a reply. Have phoned again and told my message would be passed on for reply and also have emailed twice more. Whilst i appreciate immediate replies are not always possible there is no excuse for not receiving an auto reply so that i know its in the system. I'm sure they take the money for orders much quicker
Surprised a all the negative reviews here. I have used them several times and always got the message back the next day from the receipiant on how delighted the were with the flowers card and chocolates. Whilst I have not seen the flowers myself I am sure the would have told me if the arrived in bad condition.
Just read all the bad reviews but i can only go by my experience...ordered roses for my sister yesterday afternoon and she received them at 7.50am today....she is very pleased and says the flowers are in lovely condition..so from that i wouldnt hesitate in using them again...very efficient and good quality :-)
I went to order from flowerfete only to find the site down. Underneath the google link was negative posts from dissatisfied customers. I would just like to say that when I've used the company, it was reported that the flowers came in a great big box, were of a good quality and lasted for ages (free chocs too). In fact when I sent two and a half weeks later some of the old flowers were still alive and in good condition. Sometimes people only rate a company when they are dissatisfied. Satisfied customers forget to write a review which is a shame as bad minority publicity can bring a company down.
I had the most horrible experience since i have been ordering flowers to be delivered in the UK. I live in malta so i just go in the website and order flowers, my mother in law was sick so i sent her some flowers..the post man knocked on the door and left a note in the letter box that she needs to pick up something from the post. She could not walk properly so it took her a while to open the door and since she was note expecting any flowers she did not go to the post office as she cannot go outside. They did not refund or send another bunch as they said they cannot do anything at this point. Who delivers flowers and leave a note to be picked up from post office? A total disgrace....hope all bad reviews here will stop your business.
I ordered a bouquet for about £50 plus "express service" for my wifes anniversary even chose the date for delivery. Its been 3 days and this flowers are yet to be seen. Called them, appatently driver been at the house and no one was present twice! We had to cancel all our plans to stay indoors for the driver and guess what no one turned up! So why on earth have the option to choose the date and even worse why pay express service. Rubbish service, rubbish customer care, rubbish company. I will seek advise on getting my money back! DONT USE THEM!
I used flowerfete without looking at this site, and have since recommended it to a friend, who checked the reviews and was totally put off! This is a huge shame as the service, price and flowers themselves were all spot on! I ordered a bunch of carnations and the recipient was delighted. They arrived on time, and there was a great variety of affordable bouquets on offer. Maybe I got lucky??
I sent some flowers to my mum and was hoping for a bright cheerful bunch of colourful carnations. Instead a bunch of brown half dead flowers arrived. Mum had to throw them way the day after she received them. What a waste of time, money and energy. Do not buy anything from this company.
Ordered a special variety of orchids for my wife's birthday paying a good amount. Sure enough it did reach early in the morning, but they had sent some normal orchids n not the one I had ordered. And quality was so bad, the buds and flowers starting falling of and the entire lot almost died in less than 24 hours. Moreover wen I complained , the customer service blatantly replied saying, they will always send the nearest possible match to the flowers ordered when not available instead of informing the customer. Simple horrible....don't use Flowerfete. Disappointed by their attitude and this whole experience also spoilt my wife's birthday.
I ordered Flowers and Chocolates for my friends Birthday when I spoke with her I found out nothing had ever been delivered, after 9 days speaking to India (via helpdesk) they finally gave me a number to call, which I did only to find out, they did not delivery any flowers or chocolates but took the money from my bank account, they now say they have refunded me but no money has ever arrived in my Bank Account, I asked to speak with their Manager, the reply was he will only give out his email address, then I will receive just an automated reply and get nowhere! NEVER WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DISHONEST COMPANY AGAIN.
