They deliver flowers in 45 minutes after ordering. They lasted for 10 days, which is at least twice as much as they did when ordered from other companies. Would not go to anyone else.
I ordered flowers for my niece's birthday on February 16 (Saturday night), since her birthday was February 17, I used Flower Station, which claimed to be the only vendor that provides same-day delivery in the UK on Sundays. I even paid an additional charge so that the flowers would be delivered as early as possible (so at the very worst the flowers would be delivered by February 19 in the morning).
The flowers did not arrive on February 17, nor on February 18, nor the 19th. Since I am in North America, I could not conveniently call the company over the phone, so on February 19 at night I sent the vendor an email alerting to the fact that the flowers were not delivered.
On February 24 (more than a week after the same-day delivery order!) I got a voice message from the customer service representative saying that their florist had called and said that the order would cost more than what I paid. The representative urged me to call back as soon as possible to complete the order. More than a week after the fact, there was no longer any point in sending flowers, so I again emailed Flower Station (to the same address that they sent the original order confirmation) and wrote that they should cancel the order. I specifically wrote "Apart from the fact that there is no longer any point in delivering the flowers, I am somewhat disappointed at the way this order was handled. Your misrepresentation of the service you would provide resulted in my niece not receiving my birthday wishes at a reasonable time."
Today, more than two week after the original "same-day-delivery" order, I got an email from Flower Station asking me, and I quote: "Could you please confirm the delivery date please so I can process your order". Not even a period at the end of the sentence, not to mention a greeting or a signature, and forget about making any sort of reference to my previous emails.
Had I bought the flowers from another company they might have only been delivered on Tuesday the 19th (Monday was a bank holiday), but they would have reached my niece while she was still celebrating her birthday.
Bottom line: DO NOT try ordering from this vendor if you want your flowers delivered in a reasonable time period, or if you expect any decent customer service experience.
Save yourself some time, effort and money and AVOID ordering anything from Flower Station.
Having placed and paid for an order for same-day delivery, Flower Station did not deliver the item ordered. They were also entirely unresponsive via email and telephone, when I first inquired about the status of my order and later, repeatedly (over the course of 2 weeks), asked for a refund.
Luckily, I paid for this non-service via PayPal, who were able to claim back a refund for me. So I at least have my money back, but am still awaiting an explanation and apology from this clearly shoddy company.
AVOID, or, if you do want to order, make sure you pay using a credit card or PayPal, so that you can claim your cash back when they completely ignore you!
Ordered the flowers online at 1am it the morning on Valentines Day and they arrived promptly the same day. The cost a small fortune (and £10 delivery) but were absolutely fantastic and my wife was moved to tears so I have to say worth every penny. Sometimes it's worth paying for quality.
As my local flower shop, I have been using the Flower Station for the past year. Last Sunday, I placed an order via the website. I received my order confirmation that day, but no flowers turned up. I called the office and was told that the non-delivery was a result of a 'technical' fault at their end.
I used to hold this firm in the highest regard, but I would not trust them again.
4 days post birthday and still no flowers. Have to repeat the entire story every time I call them as they can't keep track of the situation, or pass on messages within the company.
I had to ask for an apology.
I am now cancelling the order, if they are able to find any record of it.
I would have liked a confirmation that my flowers had been sent, but I visited my friend (the recipient) in hospital yesterday and saw them! She said everyone had commented on the scent. I liked the slightly unusual selection on your site - have often driven past the store in NW1 and thought it looked interesting! I didn't want run of the mill flowers but also didn't want to pay a premium for designer flowers - just wanted something more interesting than chrysanths or roses. My friend is in the Wellington Hospital up the road so I thought it was best to order locally.
my order went smoothly....a few negative reviews did not put me of as most companies do have them. I made a follow up phone call to check all will be fine and was. Very pleased.
I ordered flowers for my mother-in-law from the Flower Station as her birthday was on a Sunday and Interflora don't deliver on a Sunday. I was happy to pay the extra charge to have them delivered on the day.
The flowers didn't arrive. I emailed on Monday to find out what had gone wrong and received no reply.
Eventually, when my mother-in-law was leaving for work on the Tuesday morning she found the flowers left on the steps outside her house, she'd been in since the evening before and no attempt had been made to knock on the door and present the flowers to her personally.
I'm really disappointed in this company, their website is great and everything looks so promising at the start, I only wish I'd read the reviews from other unsatisfied customers before placing my order.
Next time, I'll use Interflora, even if it means having the flowers delivered a day earlier if required on a Sunday.
İt wasnt same flower it was looks bad and i paid £65 for this....
The website is very easy to use - very customer friendly. The flowers were beautiful.
The flowers were excellent quality, and so many could only just fit them in a vase. Some flowers were substituted for alternatives due to the season. My only negative point would be that i ordered for a morning delivery and they were delivered at lunchtime, but this was only an issue as my girlfriend who these were for was leaving work after lunch
I ordered my flowers on Monday morning at 11.00 - they were delivered to my girlfriend at 4.00pm the same day
When i called to ask that flowers be delivered before 6.00pm the lady on the other end of the phone could not have been more helpful
I ordered flowers (2 bouquets) from the website a week in advance, to be delivered on a Sunday. I even paid extra to have the flowers delivered in the morning. I asked in my buying notes if it would be possible to have the flowers dfelviered before 2pm, which is still allowing time if they were going to be late. 2pm isn't actually the morning after all! (I got no answer to this.)
I was ordering them for my bridesmaids, following my hen do the night before as a thank you. They were meant to be a lovely surprise in the morning.
But they never showed. It started to press on to midday so thought I would ring to see where they were and if they would make the delivery before 2pm. We were all going out for lunch and then my bridesmaids were going home, so I really needed them before 3pm at the latest.
I rang the customer services and was put through to the shop. The woman on the other end did not speak very good English and there were a few communication problems. She told me that the driver should be there within the hour and that he was stuck in traffic. But I was assured he would be with us soon.
I told the lady my mobile number and asked her to pass it on to the driver, as we were going to be around the corner having lunch. I said if he arrived and no one was there, to give me a call as I was only around the corner and could go pick up the flowers from him easily enough. She promised she would do this.
Time rolled on and still no flowers. Now it was getting close to 3pm and we were finishing our lunch. I got my fiance to ring them up and ask where they were and he was just told they would be with us soon.
I finally had to admit defeat at half three as the girls had to go. I admitted what I had tried to do and then apologised to them both. I was very upset as this was the only thing I had done to say thank you to the both of them. They were understanding of course, but it was still rather upsetting.
I then had my fiance call up and say that we didn't want the flowers any more.
However, this time he rang up he spoke to someone who was actually helpful. I can't remember the man's name, but he was so lovely and apologetic. He told us that the drievr's van had broken down, but they were attempting to get a car out to make the deliveries. We told him we still didn't want the flowers as it was too late, but he completely understood. He told us that there would be a full refund (although I haven't checked if this has gone through yet) and that the next time we order from them to call up and speak to him and he would give us a free bouquet!
So at least there was some saving grace (hence the two stars rather than zero), but this was still unacceptable. Not sure if I want to use them again... And from the sounds of the other reviews, missing and late orders are fairly common. Maybe I should have checked out reviews on here first.
I odered some flowers on the 21/06/12 around 8:30pm. I needed them to be delivery next day in London. They arrived the next day with no extra costs and my friend loved the flowers. Fantastic service. will definitely use this company again.
Thank you
James
I have ordered flowers on Saturday for Mothers day (that is different date to the original as I'm not from UK) as it was the first flower delivery I saw online to be delivering on Sundays. I order flowers to be delivered before 12 noon as My mum leaves to work in the afternoon, I have planed to make a surprise, and paid a lot more than usually flowers would cost. (I considered it was because they deliver on sundays) I was shocked when no one arrived and no one contacted me to apologized that the flowers will be delivered later than what I have paid to be delivered. Well I understand that traffic is not their fault but they were so late, traffic can not cause 4 hour delay, its just bad management, not enough staff provided to deliver the service that the customers are paying for. Its a rip off! So I was concerned what happened why I wasn't contacted and why isn't the flowers still delivered, so went online and checked my email,- NO EMAIL WHAT SO EVER, then, got my order number and phoned shop to find out my self what's the problem. The lady didn't seem that she had to apologize on behalf of the company, she have just said the reason that the driver is running late and that I should wait for them they should be no longer than an hour.
The outcome was that the flowers did arrive an hour later, but my mum was no longer at home, paid a lot for delivery that wasn't even used, it then disappointed my £40 flower bunch that looked like a £10 pot... Totally disappointed, never ordering from them again, and will try to avoid companies that has bad reviews. Will say to all of the people I know about this company how they didn't feel any responsibility to refund the money or offer complementary flowers to cover whats been their fault. No guilt what so ever! Discussed!!
Booked some roses for my girlfriend online, with this company where there was a small problem using the online service, called the next day to make sure my order went through, the girl on the other side "Carol" could not have done enough to help me, she was fantastic and very helpful, called me back when she said she would and answered all my questions, and to top it off my girlfriend received a beautiful dozen roses.
Would highly recommend and use again and again and again.
The flowers were delivered on time but they didn't look like the ones on the website.
I wrote them an email and on the next day they delivered another bouquet! Vey reliable.
They were yellow, not red but they did say colours may vary... besides - Yellow is the colour of love... isn't it?
No complaints really. The wife loved them :)
I ordered flowers from my New York home for my boyfriend in London and the flowers were delivered on time and he was very impressed.
I will always order from the flowerstation for all my future floral arrangements!
Wish you guys were here in New York!
Cheers!
Karen
excellent quality_brought a lot of happiness to my mum_third time I've used flowerstation and plan to do so again! Thanks
They promise a next day service and they delivered a day late. The driver said he tried but there was nobody in which I don't believe as my friend was in bed recovering from a brain haemorrhage and his building has a 24 hour concierge. They delivered the next day but my friend had to go down to Vauxhall Bridge to collect the flowers from the van. Very poor and I would not recommend them
Saved my life when I recently remembered my wedding anniversary at the last minute.
Terrific value for money and delivered in a flash.
I've used these guys 3 times now and they have been really great flowers fresh and on time, also good value for money. all round great service
This is a company with really strange service. One time they didn't find place I mentioned. Other time they didn't warn me that the plant and post card I've chose is out of stock, and send card with "happy birthday" on Mother's day! Their driver didn't tell anybody to whom this gift, so it was really mess.
Ordered delivery to the specific date and my wish time (in London) - and that was done with no problems! So, my fears of possible fail were fake. Thanks a lot!
i don't normally leave comments but since as though flowerstation actually prompted me to, i will say i was dissapointed.
I paid extra for the flowers i ordered to be delivered before 12pm and i they arrived after the person was meant to receive them.
The flowers when they did come were beautiful but the whole point of using a flower delivering service is that they get to their destination on time.
I wanted to use a less known online florist as i like to give my business to lesser known companies but it seems that it is a risky move.
Even though the flowers were beautiful i will not be using flowerstation again.
I ordered good luck flowers to be delivered on a Sunday from Flower Station as Interflora don't do Sunday delivery at short notice, anticipating there might be problems I left a clear message with my order with the times people would be at the venue as well as leaving my phone number & email address. I expected to be notified beforehand if the times would cause a problem. On the day nothing arrived & NO communication. I launched a PayPal dispute. In the meantime the flowers arrived. They were nice, however the reply to my PayPal dispute was NOT satisfactory (they said they didn't know what time someone would be there & NO explanation as to why I wasn't contacted) & they would not offer me any recompense for the disappointment & all they were worried about was me telling payPal that the flowers had arrived. I will be using Interflora as usual in future!
Second time I am using Flowerstation and so far no issues. I order mainly in central London. Would like to have a confirmation when the flowers are delivered.
Keep it up!
The flowers were such a disappointment and they arrived late. Would not use Flower Station again - gutted!
Valentine's day flowers arrived a day late and they sent lilies instead of lisianthus. Lilies are very toxic to cats and they made our cat sick. Terrible service, won't be using again.
I cannot comment on whether the flowers I order arrive on the day I select as I have used this company 4 times but always to send 'new baby' flowers and have been very relaxed about when they arrive and have always picked the free delivery option. I have always been told how lovely the flowers are and I cannot find a better value florist in London.
After comparing to many other sites, I ordered 'get well' flowers for a friend of mine just before Valentine's day, as I could still get the delivery date I wanted. On the day, Flower Station contacted me in the morning to let me know they didn't receive stock for the flowers I ordered, but offered to send a replacement order which landed up being of higher value. I do have to say that my friend only received the flowers just before the latest deliver time, but in this case it didn't really matter...
So my friend didn't get the flowers I originally ordered, but I can't fault the customer service in terms of getting in touch and offering a 'better' replacement when things didn't go according to plan.
Ordered flowers on valentines day and paid an extra £15 for delivery within 2 hours........2 hours later no flowers. Gave them a little leeway as busy day for them and my own fault for not ordering before the big day!4 hours later still no flowers.........6 hours later still no damn flowers! Called customer services and told i could not have paid for 2 hour delivery as not on the website on valentines day! assured the person that they had taken my money and my flowers still not arrived. told flowers were somewhere in London but they dont know where! waited for a further 3 hours and called them again........... what a difference! young lady on the phone full of apologies and made a seperate bunch and put them in a taxi and they arrived within 45 minutes! Bless you young lady you saved me from having a very difficult evening! If it wasnt for this one member of staff i would never use this company again. She has restored my faith a little in buying flowers online. went from furious to well pleased in a 9 hour period! Promote this young lady as she has the `golden touch`. You know who she is!
The flowers I oredered (for valentines day) arrived a day late. with flower were odered a bears, but guy bring only flowers . will never order here again
i ordered a valentine's rose that arrived two days late. i sent an email on the 15th to enquire why it was delivered late and i received no reply, and certainly not a refund--they were offering a Valentine's day service after all and did not meet their advertised offer, there should be compensation. never again...
My boyfriend in South Africa organised for a rose to be delivered to me at work on Valentines Day and I am so disappointed with the delivery service.
The rose arrived on 15th Feb at 6.30 pm (after hours- luckily I happened to be working late) and the delivery man was horrendously unprofessional.
He called me twice for directions, which I gave him to the best of my ability. He failed to find the building despite that fact that it is the tallest for miles in the area. Eventually he asked me to walk down the road and meet him at the McDonalds restaurant to pick up the rose. He then also had the cheek to tell me to 'not take long' as he didn't want to get caught for parking illegally.
The flowers were lovely when I got them but there was absolutely no apology from the delivery man who turned on his heel as soon as the flowers were in my hand- and to top it all off, the card had directions scribbled all over the front of the envelope!
Not such a happy Valentines Day for me, I'm afraid :(
