Stole my phones
I sent a couple of mobile phones to fonebank using their freepost service over 10 days ago, they have not paid me for them, they do not answer emails and the phone goes to a full voicemail account or the other line is constantly busy. So I've lost over £300 to these crooks. Avoid them at all costs.

Does what it says on the tin
No problems here, Fonebank do just as they promise, give you money for your old phone and gave the highest price out of all the companies I looked at for my old HTC Sensation.
Easy service to use, I chose the option where you print the label off and stick it to a jiffy bag - Learn from my mistake and make sure you remember to pack the order form before you seal the bag cos I had to cut the bag open after I realised I'd forgotten to include mine!
Posted the phone, got an email a couple of days later confirming they'd received it and another one soon after confirming the phone had been checked over and the money would be in my bank account soon.
Checked my bank a couple of days later and as promised, the money was there. Simple as that. Would definitely use again.

Best price paid and easy-peasy logistics
FoneBank gave me the best price on selling my Iphone 4S - about 5% more than anyone else. Packed the phone off via Royal Mail and got the cheque in 2 days.
Proper job..

Fonebank usually offer a higher price for your phone and will tell you within hours of receiving your phone that they will pay the agreed amount. If you choose to be paid via bac it only takes 2 days. Really good to deal with.

Surprisingly easy, excellent customer service and fast payment
I've already mentioned my experience to a few friends as I haven't traded in a phone like this before and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was. I found the customer service lady I spoke to extremely friendly and helpful and my boyfriend who actually dropped the phone off directly at the offices even mentioned the same thing to me. I felt reassured that I didn't have to complete loads of forms with lots of personal info, and that the cheque was sent through so quickly.
