DON'T USE A PROMO CODE ONLINE

I recently ordered some items online using a promo code thinking "Hey I am getting a great deal!" When the items arrived the shipping list said "Final Sale" for all the items. Mind you I only ordered one thing that was "Final Sale". With their policy you cannot return or exchange items that are "Final Sale". I understand this policy but only one item was truly "Final Sale" all the rest of the items were regular price and reduced with the promo code. When I called to ask why they said that when you use a promo code that they items become "Final Sale". I proceeded to try on the items. Like most times there is one or two items that aren't want they seem. I called to find out if I could return them in the store. I was told that I am unable to and would only be able to return them to the wearhouse and get an online credit. Did not understand why because these items AREN'T FINAL SALE. They were regular priced items and this is how the computer marked them down. I should also say this items are for my honeymoon that I am leaving for next week and now I have to spend more money because I can't take them to the store and I have to wait for the item to be returned to the wearhouse and the credit given. So if you know for sure the items will look great on you and fit then go ahead use that promo code. If not I would just go into the store.

The good stuff run out in like 1 week, and they're never back!

Around 2 days after I'd posted the review below, the website had a new and somewhat interesting feature implemented. It is called a "waitlist"! A 2014 version of the old "wishlist" (which still exists but services very little purpose). Unlike the "wishlist", the "waitlist" allows forever21.com's users to select an option called "I still want it" on items that have run out of stock. It's still not as great as it sounds tho', the option is available to only a very limited amount of items and is yet to be available for the majority of the items on the site (And we don't even know how many items will have the feature in the future, but here's hoping it will be available for the majority of the website's items), more importantly we have yet to see it in action as it has only been implemented for a few days now. I had actually never thought that forever 21's employees read the reviews posted online, there are quite a few nasty ones about their customer service, employees, return policy and items. As a result, I'd written reviews out of sheer frustration and didn't expect to be taken seriously. After this, I'm not sure that forever 21 is as horrible as the poor depictions of it on the internet. I mean, when you make a major adjustment to your policy within 48 hours of a complaint, you are doing your job right (although this adjustment is yet to endure the test of time and well, it's not as largely implemented as I'd hoped,).

Old review:
It's "okay", not great (but could be!)

The site itself is great and no, I have never had a bad experience shopping there, however, I do have some comments regarding the items that are sold on the site. Like any other site, it's got items that are great and ones that are... well, not so great. Naturally, the "great" items run out of stock quickly, and are unfortunately rarely restocked, sizes small and medium run out extremely rapidly and although the items receive great reviews and are frequently requested to be put back on the site, they're hardly ever back. The site itself doesn't display any info regarding forever21's re-socking policy and when you email the employees, they respond saying that they don't know if the items that are out of stock will ever be restocked. The US store underwent a "makeover" recently, it no longer has a "back in stock" category, almost as if they never intend to restock anything ever again. This is extremely disappointing to me as a customer, I am a student so naturally I am incapable of purchasing everything I want right away as I have to save money for a period of time in order to afford shopping. The fact that they are putting this out there in a way that makes it seem almost as if they are saying "boohoo..You didn't have the money to buy that jacket back then? Guess what? It's gone now! Better try your luck with our physical stores. Oh and by the way, we know you've tried that before and it didn't work out but still, it's the cliche we're going to stick to!" is just terrible. I don't think it's a bad marketing strategy to restock items that ran out quickly, sold a significant number of units and are top rated/ frequently praised, so I can't think of any reason why the site won't put back the "great" stuff instead of putting "not so great new stuff" each and every day, it just hurts... it really does. I get that having more items will definitely increase the site's generated revenue, but not all items are favorable. Plus, more money and customer satisfaction can be garnered by gaining customers' approval through good quality items, rather than just "new" ones which may or may not be good. It just makes it super easy for people with money to get the good stuff and for the not so fortunate to wear the "not so good" stuff (if they're lucky they'll manage to get the stuff they want a size larger than their own before that one runs out of stock too!), which wasn't the purpose behind creating the brand in the 1st place... It's supposed to be affordable fashion for all.

Da un anno acquisto regolarmente per me e per le mie bimbe su questo sito: prezzi davvero buoni, spedizioni velocissime, prodotti corrispondenti alla descrizione.
Tanta scelta e vestitini molto graziosi.
Chiaro, la qualità è quella dei tessuti sintetici, ma io mi trovo molto bene.

Il reso non è gratuito, tuttavia, segnalato con foto un abito che mi era arrivato macchiato, subito il servizio clienti ha provveduto a regalarmi un buono per spedizione gratuita.
Ho utilizzato anche la chat on line per informazioni su alcuni abiti: mi hanno risposto rapidamente e mi hanno aiutata sia a cercare il codice di un articolo che non trovavo, sia a trovare articoli simili per avere più scelta.

Good quality, low prices

It's the first time i've ordered anything from it, and i was surprised when i saw how cheap it was, wich was why i expected it to be a very poor quality. But i got surprised! It's nice and soft and seem to be really good. They have clothes to everyone, and evry taste. I will really recommend it!

I have ordered from Forever21 multiple times and have never been disappointing. I live in Sweden and the items have always arrived in just a few days - right to my doorstep. Great service and amazing clothes!

Dårlig returservice

Jeg bestilte en blazer som de valgte at kalde fersken farvet. Da jeg modtog blazeren var farven SLET IKKE som på billedet, og jeg fortrød hurtigt købet. Jeg valgte så at udfylde returformularen og gå på posthuset, hvor de så oplyser mig at jeg skal betale 210,- for at sende den retur(blazeren kostede 260,-).

Det er for dårligt når farven ikke er som på billedet, og man så nærmest skal betale fuld pris for at sende den retur igen.
Første og sidste gang jeg har handlet der!
ENGLISH:
I bought a blazer from their website, in a color they refered to as peach. When I recieved the blazer, the color was the excact opposite. I tried to return it, but since I had to pay allmost as much as the blazer had cost to begin with, I couldn't.
I will never shop at their website again.

Not my go to shop.

It's an alright shop but isn't anything special. The clothes in my opinion can be a hit or miss and some items intended to look expensive are just tacky but have an extra £10 added on. They have some nice stuff because I've bought a jumper there that looked lovely and also a pair of shorts aswell as basics but even these I could buy cheaper elsewhere at the same quality.
I attempted shopping online with them once last year but the accidentally (just bad luck) canceled my order but left it a long time before telling me so half of the stuff I wanted was sold out. Customer service was okay however they agreed to give me a money off code because of the issue yet I never received this until I had to email them once again asking for it. I haven't actually used it yet (and I assume it will have expired by now) but it was only 5% off anyway and I haven't seen anything online that I've wanted to buy from them since. I will shop at there stores from time to time but it just isn't really my favorite shop.

Lousy return policy, don't care about customer at all.

My wife shopped early for Christmas, then her father passed away on December 12th. When our daughter opened her gifts a few things had to be returned. No problem with other stores (PacSun, etc.), but Forever21 wouldn't accept the returns becuase it was 30 past the purchase date. I've talked to two different customer service managers and their story is the same. "We have a very strict return policy" they tell me. Really? A death in the family and you folks have no compassion? Just becuase it's policy does not make it correct. The government once had a policy - no, it was a law - that forbade women from voting. Sometimes you just have to change that policy!

And this from a supposedly "Christian" company. Is this an example of Christian values? Oh, please! Shame on you. We've spent at least a thousand dollars at Forever21 in the past few years. And all we're talking about is less than $50 in returns . . . unworn, tags still on.

Can anybody help me here?

Forever 21 used to be a top, in trend store. However, their quality has went from high to low. Whenever I buy clothing there, most of the shirts or sweaters I find have defects. Not only that, their sizes are totally off and leave a lot of lint hanging around. I wish they would put more effort into making higher quality clothes. For a sweater that would have cost around ten dollars worth, they price it up to thirty or forty.

Absolutely Amazing

I love forever21 because the delivery is so fast without any complications and the items were intact. My package was very carefully wrapped up so that my items wouldn't get damaged. Furthermore I could follow my package on its way to me, which was really nice.

No help from customer service or corporate office on lost gift card

We bought our daughter a $200 gift card for Christmas from this store. While shopping her wallet was stolen with the gift card on there. We immediately contacted the store but the manager said they cannot cancel the card we have to call corporate but since it was stolen on a Friday night, we have to wait on Monday because they were closed over the weekend. I told the manager to help us in case somebody presents the card for payment since I have the receipt with the card number on it. She did not want to do that until I got really mad. Then Monday came, I called the corporate office and to my surprise, the corporate office said they cannot cancel the card since they do not have a system to do that. How can a big company with so many stores nationwide and even international not able to cancel a stolen card? Even a small store can do it. They just do not care about their customers. So warning do not shop at this store or buy a gift card.

I find that the stuff online is much better than the actual clothes I find in store. I always receive my items within 2-3 days (usually 2). Extremely fast shipping.

Very Disappointed

I ordered from Forever21.com on Sunday October 29 expecting my order to arrive by Friday or Saturday. I checked my tracking and it says that my order will not arrive until NOVEMBER 6!!!! How is this even possible?? A whole month and some days. That's ridiculous. I needed this for Friday. If I had have read on the site that it would take so long I would have looked somewhere else for my merchandise. Instead of thinking I have found what I needed and no longer need to look anywhere else, because I will have it in time. I am very disappointed. Even if this is a glitch in the system and I won't receive the package until October 6 I am still disappointed. I would not have expected it to take that long seeing as how it was shipped the very next day. It seems like another shipping method was used and not fedex. It shouldn't take over a week to ship ground via fedex.
As of today , October 30, I have yet to receive a refund from forever 21. I have called twice since then regarding the pack. The first time I called the day they received it to make sure that I would receive a refund. I was told yes and that I should wait 3-5 business day. So I waited. Then I called again after the 5 days and asked about it. I was told to wait 3-7 business days. I called again today and they told me THAT THE REFUND WAS NEVER LOGGED. I talked with a supervisor to express to him how I felt about the situation and how this never should have happened if I've called twice. He showed no concern for my issue and just rushed me off the phone. This was an awful experience. There is no way it should take a hole month to get a refund from a company. I am so annoyed with forever 21.com. I WILL NEVER ORDER WITH THEM AGAIN.

worst customer service

My daughter ordered several items from this company. Their IT dept screwed up the order, cancelled it after two weeks and then their customer support team tried to tell us it was US that cancelled the order. After clearing that up, they said WE needed to go to the effort to redo the order, and they would give us a 10% discount and express shipping IF we did it in 2 days and WE would have to email them to get the credit for the discount and the shipping! I have not even received the credit for the first order after 3 weeks! I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW THINK TWICE BEFORE DOING SO AS WELL. This is NOT how i expect to be treated by a so called Christian company.
