For those who order from Sydney, Australia this company may seem to be fraudulent and delaying shipments. I got my package today after 2 months and realised that the package has been sent on time from USA and then reopened by some company in Victoria (FGE) and re-sent with Australia Post. So if you are waiting for your package try to contact them with your con number they may be holding it here in Australia.
I ordered perfume in Feb 2011 and its now May I still haven't received my item. After repeated e-mails about my order, I kept getting the same response that they could not track the order and it was on its way and may be delayed by customs. Eventually after threatening to report them to VISA unless they refunded my money they refunded half of it. I have just sent them a mail about the rest of my money and if I do not get a response straight away I will report them. From reading other reviews it seems like this has happened to a lot of people. So AVOID this company.
Ive ordered 4-5times from these guys and always recieved my item.
Prices are good.
BUT they recently decided no more free shipping to the UK, so despite using my coupon which I was emailed, and despite their website confirming I recieve free shipping, when I finally paid them it turned out they had sneaked in the delivery fee!!
There was NO CLEAR INDICATION the free delivery was no longer on, and I feel I have been ripped off...its like stealing from someone.
I emailed them, pretty soon they just copy/pasting a default email to me.
I got tired and rang them (from UK) and the most UNFRIENDLY lady picked up who, after a few minutes of asking questions, decided to cut me off!

I cant say "do not buy from here" but I can say whenever you have a problem, you have simply lost the case from the word go.
Do NOT expect your money back.
(payal cant do anything about the delivery fee...thats an added 'service' apparently by the website, so the only money I can get back is the actual price of the bottle of perfume! Not the delivery fee)
Paid this company online - from Australia - I paid via PayPal - and when I started to raise questions about where is my cologne - they kept giving me excuses etc. The same template response. They were only delaying everything and when I raised the dispute with PayPal - they said to me that the dispute is old and that they cannot do anything anymore - it is between me and these clowns in the US - FragranceX. I emailed them over 90 emails and kept getting the same response. Obviously not reading anything. Why doesn't PAYPAL freeze their accounts and stop the processing of payments for this company. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM.
I too have been waiting over 2 months for my order with the same stock standard responses, blaming customs and floods. I have now contacted bbb.com and reported their poor service. I would not recommend this site to anyone. I wish I had seen these reviews before ordering
Hi everyone - totally agree with the below. Ordered 3 months ago and still nothing. Customer service is shocking - and to the person below who said that Lisette no longer works there, she either does or they are using her name as an alias because her name is in the signitures of their emails to me!
Would definitely not buy from them. Better off paying a bit extra on Strawberry net. I'll be making a complaint with the relevant agencies if they brush me off again. Worst online shopping experience I've ever had.

AT THEIR RETURN POLICY THEY ARE REFERING:
"Return Policy Orders can be returned up to 30 days after the ship date for a full refund minus shipping and gift wrap charges".
THIS MADE ME FEEL LIKE A VICTIM BECAUSE ITS ESTIMATE THAT THEY DON' T NEED MORE THAN 30 DAYS OF DELIVERY AND I INFORM THEM FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THE 16TH DAY AFTER THEY SAID THAT THEY SENT ME THE PACKAGE.
I HAVE SENT THEM MANY EMAILS AFTER THE FIRST ONE.
THEY DIDN' T SATISFY ME WITH THEIR ANSWER AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THEY DO NOTHING TO INFORM ME WHERE IS MY ORDER OR TO REPAIR.
I FEEL THAT THEY HAVE DECEIVED ME BECAUSE THE TIME HAS PASSED AND I DON'T HAVE THE CHANCE TO ASK FOR A REFUND VIA PAYPAL.

Hundreds and hundreds very negativ reviews trough the Internet It's a miracle WHY the american autority do not cancel the license of this company.
I have made two orders 2 months ago and stil haven't received it. To my emails I have only standard answers and the Rep from the customer service desconected the line as I called this company. Now I claim my money from the credit card institution, only way to get the money back.

Like many of your other complainants. I took up FX offer of free delivery for goods at only £19 I cannot seem to get them in UK. I ordered well in advance of the Christmas rush 26 Nov 2010 although I didn't anticipate the wintry conditions prior to Christmas so that probably delayed delivery. However, after lengthy phone calls and numerous e-mails to discuss the matter, It was agreed with Meghan their Manager that I would get a full refund if I hadn't received the order by 28 Feb 2011 or did she mean 2012? Now I am informed by her that they want to extend the date to 16 March 2011. The point I wish to make about this organisation is that they make vast profits from the likes of you and me from "stolen" money, how are they in business? Surely someone out there must know how to stop this happening and prevent them from trading in this manner. From a very frustrated and irate ex-customer.
Don’t know about other countries, however, if you order from Australia, do not expect your order to arrive for some time. It has been over 3 months and I'm still waiting on my order! If you looking for fast delivery and good products, go to ebay and get your stuff there. Ordered some fragrances 2 weeks ago on ebay, payed less than on fragrancex and already using them!!
I have to say that i was a little worried after reading all the bad reviews i found for this website, but my order came in 10 days, even though it's international. The perfume i ordered cannot be found in Europe and i was worried whether it will an original. It is just what i ordered, an original! I would recommend this website to everyone, the service was great, shipping rates even better and the product exactly what i wanted!

Since two months I'm still waiting !

Avoid at any cost! Make sure you claim a charge back from your credit company if you don't get the goods within 2 weeks, as it means the parcel got lost! they send the goods without tracking numbers, so they don't know what is going on with your parcel. I ordered a perfume well before Xmas (on 19 Nov 2010) - it's 31 Jan 2011 and I still haven't received it! The response to your queries is appalling! Even though you ask some specific question, you get a generic email in return. When you call them (I live in UK, so it's quite expensive to contact them this way), they hung up on you and lie in your face! AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE!!!!!!! THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE - JUST TERRIBLE!!!! Staff make empty promises and when you call again they tell you those people don't work there any longer and they can't take responsibility for what was said earlier! For example have found out today that Geovanna and Lissette, (who both told me over the phone that if I don't get my parcel by end of January, I would get the full refund immediately) - have left the company! Had to call 4 times today, as they simply hung up on you when you point out their lies in their faces! What a joke. No doubt they won't last for much longer! I strongly encourage all unhappy customers not to wait but to call their credit card companies immediately and claim a charge back. This will teach them a lesson! Best regards, Marzena
I ordered perfume on 23rd November 2010 and the money was taken from my credit card on the 24th November 2010. Still waiting for the order and keep being told when I request an explanation that customs in Australia must be holding the order and that they have no way of tracking it. i wish i had known that the order couldn't be tracked before i placed it. Will not order from Fragrance X again.
I ordered in November, for Christmas gifts. 9 weeks later and no sight of the perfumes I paid for. Support fob me off with standard "wait longer", "customs and weather delays" emails. I feel bad but I have initiated a payment dispute with my credit card company, as if I wait much longer it will be too late for them to take any action and I'll end up with nothing. I won't trust FragranceX again. Also, I've seen the same fragrances locally (in Australia) for much the same price. I bought through FragranceX a year ago and it was fine - 2.5 weeks shipping time - but something has gone really wrong.

This is my second order with FragranceX - the first was timely and for a great price. This time I ordered, was only informed after the fact that they now use a postal service which does not allow tracking... which might prepare the scam... and I'm now waiting since 3 November for a parcel to arrive in Australia, I get standard 'Patience' emails to my meanwhile 3 requests for delivery and emailed them today that they should stop bullsh.. me - even if this had gone on a ship and through quarantine the goods would have meanwhile arrived. I demanded resend or reimbursement and I will research means to report them to any kind of authority if I don't get my money with in a weeks time. I wonder if they deliver once in a great fashion to get you to trust and spend more on your next order and then the scam kicks in. Shame, I was really delighted the first time. My trust is gone and I would never, ever order from FragranceX. I'll make sure this gets out on twitter/facebook, you name it, I'm not going down without a fight.
I placed an order 11th Novemeber and paid 113.00 dollars, around £82.00 pounds. I have not recieved my items. There customers services ignore mt emails and send out standard response of please wait for delivery. They will not refund my money even thought i have sent at least 30 emails since 25th November and we are now on 22nd January. This is not what i would call cheap if you don't recieve your items. I would recommend amazon for many items, and at least you get a guarentee, which you do not with fragranceX

i emailed them 4 times, they stopped answering after 2nd email. The
usual excuses were used blaming UK customs and asking me to be patient and the order would be delivered soon.
This is the worst company i have ever had the misfortune to deal with,
and the first time i have been scammed in over 12 years of ordering goods online.
Could it be that fragrance x are only able to offer cheap perfume because they are taking money from some customers accounts and failing to honour the transactions. (the worrying thing is can they be trusted with our credit card details)
The one star i have given above is one too many - AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

I ordered perfume from this company in Nov 2010 Having used them b4 I had no qualms..However previous orders were always small and arrived on time no drama...This order was 4 Xmas and is $300+ now no perfumes no idea of where they r and all enquiries to the company result in the same automated response..This company needs to be warned i dont intend to spend $300 4 nothing...Word of mouth has a very bad habit of killing a business...So they can get my order to me or trust I will spend a lot of my time discrediting their business..Note no 1 strawberrynet.com!! more expensive but had my order here in 3 days..

HOPELES!! they keep telling you to wait so that you go over the 45 day limit with paypal to recover your money.
they couldnt care less that the package doesnt arrive. took them 10 days to ship it in the first place, was meant to be a christmas present, now at end of january still no sign of it, but they still maintain it will arrive.
dumb company full of idiots. never again.
Don't be fooled like I was in buying from Australia on FragranceX, I have been waiting over 3 months since November 15 for my order and like everyone else get the crappy standardised emails telling me nothing.
Will be claiming this as fraud on my credit card but SAVE yourselves much anger and money, DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE FRAUDS!

You should steer well clear of this site. I ordered an item a month before Christmas, and chased it constantly until Christmas came and went. The response was simply to continue to wait. Nothing has arrived to date and the customer service advisor has now gone quiet about how to get a refund. Avoid!
I purchased some perfume on 19 Nov, they took the payment out of my account straight away and I have still not recieved it!!
It was supposed to be a Christmas gift and in the end I had to go out and spend more money buying the same item in store.
I have emailed them lots, they have now just stopped responding and are completely ignoring my request for a refund or even to update me on the status of my order.
Disgraceful service, I will never use them again and will warn all my friends and family about them.
I ordered three times from this company and was satisfied with their service, so I made two further orders, neither of which arrived. According to their customer service, my package may have been delayed in customs -but it doesn't take eight months to clear customs. This company is a disgrace.
Edit: One order arrived after a few months. After a year the company finally offered me a store credit, which I used to replace the bottle that never arrived -it turned up after a few days.
Never buy anything from fragrancex, because they get your money immediately and send your shipment USPS when they charged you for priority mail.
Tried to speak with 6 different associates of whom 4 of them hung up....1 of them lied that they are a manager when I asked for a manager!

I have ordered from this company many times over the past three years with no problems, but I am now waiting for two orders totalling approx £130, ordered on 27 Oct and 17 Nov 2010, both christmas gifts. I have made contact with this company but receive the same automated reply that the goods are held up by Customs!!!! I have now made contact with my credit card company in order to retrieve my money. I paid in good faith, received no purchases and face the the problem of having to fork out additional funds to replace undelivered products.
I have recommended this sight to so many frends and am now advising them not to buy from fragrence X as they are totally unreliable, uncaring and totally unprofessional in dealing with their customers. So much for Christmas cheer and their continual emails advising that if I order today I will receive my goods in time for Christmas. Would that be Christmas 2011 after Customs gets rid of the backlog of Fragrence X parcels!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered an fragrance from fragrancex.com the 16th October and paid for it right away via PayPal. I received an email a few days later they had shipped my package. About a month later, on the 18th November i still had not received anything nor been notified by my post office of anything awaiting customs procedure. I emailed the company and got a standard reply telling me to be patient.
Hereafter i waited about a week more and then filed a complaint with PayPal. They have just agreed to refund me fully for the purchase (which i still haven't received almost 1½ month after). While making the complaint i Googled around a bit and found many others in the same situation as me (as well as here on Trustpilot) so i can only conclude that they deliver an extremely bad service and borderline scam site.
I would advise anyone to steer clear of this company. This is actually my first no-delivery experience while shopping on the Internet and i must have shopped at hundreds of webshops during the last decade.
I STRONGLY advise for anyone to NOT use this website. I have encountered my first negative internet shopping experience with this company. I ordered a bottle of perfume 6 weeks ago from Fragrance X and am still yet to recieve it. From other reviews i've read now I anticipate I wont be recieving a refund if it doesnt arrive and from what I understand, I will have to pay a £15 charge to eventually get my product if it does eventually appear at customs.
Their customer service is extremely poor, you will recieve only an automated response. Overall, I am extremely dissapointed with this experience and hope that my perfume does eventually arrive with me. The only plus is that I only ordered one item!

Like so many others , I received my goods after 6 weeks ( despatch note was dated one month earlier ) with insufficient postage . Caused inconvenience and financial loss , methinks they wait until lasty minute knowing Paypal aren't interested in postal surcharges

I ordered from them on 8th August 2010 and have still not received my perfume. I have emailed and just get a standard computer generated reply saying when the goods were supposed to have been dispatched, but no other communication from them although I've asked what their procedure is for goods not received.
I live in England so I was expecting the goods to take about 2 weeks, but it's 7 weeks now!!
There is no customer care or support - if there is, I haven't had any!!!

I've been using this site for about 3 years and suddenly something happened - first they sent me Hugo Boss that didn'tseem natural to me and now I'm wating for almost 7 weeks for my last order - they don't hava a tracking number and nobody can tell me where my package is.
I placed two sepearte orders in May this year and am still waiting 5 weeks later) like other people on here their response when chased was " you're order has been shipped" couldn't track it or anything.
I'm now taking legal action and Visa are investigating (oh and also will be refunding me)
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE IF YOU ARE FROM THE UK - THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF !!!!!!!
I have been buying from FragranceX for several years now and have always had excellent experiences until now.
I haven't received my order that was apparently shipped on March 31, 40 days later I'm still trying to get some sort of response. I have received their form letter response twice then I wrote back 2 weeks ago saying that wasn't acceptable and I wanted some action taken by them and now they seem to have forgotten all about me.
Will have to think twice before I use them again.
UPDATE - I finally received my order from FragranceX more than 10 weeks after it was ordered.
Even though they say orders are posted via airmail I think mine was sent surface mail via sea. I have never had an order take so long to get from The States to Australia.
Another thing was that there was a sticker stating that extra postage paid. Maybe it was held up due to FragranceX not paying enough postage initially.
By the way I also got an email saying delivery was held up by the Iceland Volcanic Ash disrupting flights. I had to laugh as my order was sent on 31 March, or so they said, and the volcano didn't cause any problems until 15 April.
I will try to buy my products from Australia in future.
this is my 4th order i think...i must say the delivery time is a disaster!! i has waited even a month for things to arrive! this time it has been over two months and still haven't received my perfume! cheap prices with a crappy customer service since you always get the same reply from customer support...i even called them and told me i have to wait 4 months to be eligble for a refund!! Shame on them...won't use them anymore!
I have ordered several items from this seller as their prices are very good and they offer free international shipping.
Delivery time to Europe is generally about a week. They use a cheap shipping option without any order tracking. Last time the delivery took oven one month. I wrote to them after over one month, this is their stock reply:
Thank you for your email and for ordering with FragranceX.com. Please note that your order shipped on June 25th by postal service airmail and is in transit.
Some shipments may be delayed by security in customs, and we apologize for this delay. Your package is on its way and will arrive soon; however, we do not have any tracking information. We appreciate your patience and look forward to serving you again soon.
I notice similar feedback from other European shoppers. With their cheap prices and free shipping, things go well most of the time. When things do go wrong, they are not very helpful.
