Very good - good communication and good service
Good products - look nice in my house. The custom rug was a real (nice) surprise - so we could get it to fit (perfectly) in the room.
We were sent the wrong rug initially but the process of getting it changed was very easy and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

This is not the first time I have bought a rug. But the first time I bought a rug and was delighted with the prompt service I received. Even as the Olympics are in full swing I received my carpet within 48 hours.

5 weeks late
the buying process was smooth. but they delivered 4 to 5 weeks later than promised, in spite of having made a point that i needed the rug on the date they promised.
the rug is ok and according to specs, though. so the product was good quality.

I completely agree and I know this was an expensive custom rug and usually this can take a few months to make and deliver back to the UK. Sometimes the factories in other countries are delayed making a rug and having it loaded onto the ship, and when this happens we have to wait for the next container hence the delay.
But again I completely agree and appreciate your comments; this I am sure will be of value to all future customers.

As you are probably already aware, buying a rug online is not easy as you haven't the opportunity to touch and feel the rug, and sometimes it can be quite difficult to appreciate the true colour.
It is for this reason that all our staff in the office all started employment in our showroom and have acquired a great deal of knowledge and experience thus able to answer most questions and offer relevant wholesome advise which I know you appreciate. Did not match description
I would not recommend this company as description of rug and material did not match up and timescale for delivery took longer than anticipated

I do recall our email exchanges and your dissatisfaction with the quality of your rug. And I also recall that your complaint was unfounded and just a personal opinion as to the quality of the rug and actually the rug was of perfect quality from a well established manufacturer - Crucial Trading.
Still I am sorry that you were unhappy but I am sure you will agree Fringes acted honest and fairly.

Our Owl Rug
We wanted an unusual rug for a room. We had recently bought a stone owl which sits outside so when we saw an advert for a rug with an Owl pattern woven in, it captured our imagination. I ordered the rug on line, it is now inplace and looks fantastic. I am so impressed with the quality of the rug and the prompt and good delivery we had. I have seen another rug also with an owl pattern I am considering ordering this also.

User friendly website
Ordered a circular rug which was cut from a larger one, perfect finish on a quality piece of floor covering. Delivered on time and was protected by heavy plastic covering. In all it was a very easy transaction and would certainly shop here again.

excellent product and excellent service
found it difficult to find 2 rugs the size we wanted and matching our colour scheme. These met our requirements perfectly, were reasonably priced, have been hard wearing. Delivery was on time.

Excellent service, quality product!
I was very impressed with the whole experience of buying my rug from Fringesrugs. The rug was exactly as described, arrived very quickly and was stainguarded free of charge!

Dont forget that we also provide telephone support for rug maintenance so although the Staingard stain protection is excellent, please feel free to pick up the phone for advice on stains and spillages.

Not very satisfied with the rug.would not recommend.
The rug was expensive,but the quality did not live up to the price.
The pile flattened in the one corner from the first day of use, this also shows up that the edge was not cut at all straight. There is a wonky edge for a distance of a ' foot' in length.

Please note that you ordered a hand knotted rug from us back in November 2010 and this is the first time you have brought this to our attention. If the pile was flat in one corner from day one, why didn't you inform us? As a consumer you have 7 working days to contact us if you are unhappy for any reason and in addition, Fringes also offer an additional 30 days to return the rug for a full refund.
I am not upset that you have left poor feedback as we can't get it right all the time but I'm just sorry for you that you haven't got a rug you are happy with which could have been replaced.
I hope you do not mind me posting this response on Trustpilot as I think this may help other customers who find themselves in a similar situation.

Not in any rush on customer service...
Lovely rug but took their time in delivering. After placing my order I waited 3 weeks and still hadn't had a confirmation email or any indication of when my delivery would be. I called them and mentioned this and the guy on the phone said 'oh it's sitting here next to me, shall I send it out?" Er yes, obviously!
Rug arrived fine well packaged and as I said is really lovely, but can't help wondering how long it would have continued to 'sit there' if I hadn't phoned.

It may also be of value to other customers to note that we don't just arrange to have your rug sent direct from the wholesalers like most internet companies; we actually inspect and prepare our rugs before re-wrapping them and sending them out hence we can promise that all our rugs are securely wrapped and arrive in perfect condition.
But sorry we didn't get your rug to you sooner! We always phone our customers to arrange delivery personally so I am disappointed this never happened.
