Frost sell excellent products, and provide a good service, but their website is a fairly clunky affair (not helped by a great many of the products using the same keyword such as POR15), and the postage setup is a bit old-fashioned. Products are excellent, but it does take a few days for them to arrive. It would also be good if the site made you aware of relevant special deals; I missed out on free postage (which would have saved me £7) because I was £2 under the total for the order; a bit petty not reminding a customer of this, I think - other sites do this.
With a decent overhaul of the site it would be excellent - as good as the products they sell.
Garage mats are called for - a 50 odd year old plays with his cars; occasionally this involves lying/kneeling on the garage floor. With age, this becomes uncomfortable, consequently one needs "comfort" mats .......................... hence the purchase. Hopefully well received.
Whilst the Exhaust Fume Extraction Kit will do the job, I was disappointed that the clamp onto the exhaust pipe was no more than a basic Jubilee Clip and a section of 100mm dia tube without the wire reinforcement. I was expecting a Conical, Rubber lined "Funnel" that could be simply pushed onto the exhaust. A funnel design allows the pipe to fit a range of different diameter exhaust pipes. I was especially disappointed about this aspect since I had telephoned Frost prior to ordering and asked how the pipe was connected. The lady did not explain about the Jubilee clip and gave the impression it was a simple clip on device.
Given the very basic nature of the kit I think it is very expensive for what is provided.
The search facility on the website took me straight to the item (this should not be a cause for praise but on other sites one can have problems). I only bought a small item (250ml of Vapouroil) so things might not happen so fast with bigger items. While the standard p&p charge seemed a bit excessive for such a small object, only requiring to be put in a padded bag and put in the post, I had no choice because I couldn't find it elsewhere. It came through my (fairly large) letterbox the next day. I applaud firms who make cautious claims about delivery (in this case 1 to 3 days) but then achieve immediate despatch, as opposed to others who promise more than they usually achieve.
Having ordered from frosts a few years ago I trusted the service and quality but unfortunately the quality didn't quite match up. I bought a aerosol rack to hold and organise my many spray cans but the rack itself was damaged; not too bad but the paint had chipped in a few places. I am not going to send it back because of the hassle involved but I was disappointed by the overall quality of the product. I must point out that it was well packaged so I can only assume the quality control was at fault. I might use one of my many spray cans to re-paint it!

also containers came with different labels compared to box and information leaflet.
por strip instructions fine for external surfaces but cant really scrape the inside of a bike petrol tank! so not surewhat to do to remove old petseal.

Absolutely disgusted. Website stated all items were in stock. I placed the order, and a day later it stated on the site that my order was "despatched"
A chaser call a week or so later to find out where my parts were was quite revealing. The paint was on back order, but should be in "this week, or maybe next week" - so both statements on the website were not true.
I have several parts from Frost, and the stuff is always excellent. However, when I am told my order has been shipped, I expect that to actually be the case.
Really clear website and easy to follow order instructions
I am not one to get carried away with other people's reviews and prefer my own personal experience. My tank was not leaking but after thirty years of storage was badly corroded inside.Careful preparation is vital and you need to take time to ensure the interior is as clear of debris and rust as you can get it. The application of the treatment is easy, leave it to cure for a few days, the longer the better. The end result is an interior that looks smooth and robust.
Over the years I have always had good service and products. My recent purchase included a "yellow ball parts marker" I have tried in in all positions on all materials and squeezed for all I am worth and I can tell you it does not mark parts. Am I the only one? awaiting your comments regards John

I own a classic land rover and I have been purchasing from frost for some time and I have never had a bad experience with them, their prices are competitive and the choice available is vast I have always received my parcels sometimes when they have said they would arrive but often earlier, they are always well packaged and the cost of delivery is very good. I will be a customer of frosts all the time I have my classic vehicle.
I was mainly shocked by what I ordered online and what was written on invoice, there was less items on invoice than I ordered online yet charged the same, definitely a problem I have not experienced before.
Bought some POR15 tank sealer, its a great product and it was delivered very quickly and did a cracking job on my tank. Frost were best on price too! Thank you will be ordering again!
