Lingerie products ordered and my Paypal account debited but goods not supplied. After two weeks my query was promptly dealt with by customer services and my money refunded, but I still consider it to be very poor service. It seems this site does not supply the goods themselves, and if a product is out of stock then it should not be possible to order it, and my account should certainly not be debited.
The level of support I received was everything I could hope for in a company. They went above and beyond and were extremely polite and prompt with their responses. Thankfully they made an unpleasant situation much better
Hi found this new site to buy golf items on, saw some very nice Ball Markers, good price to, without much fuss I ordered and paid for them. I must admit I was a little worried when I hadn't received my items after a couple of weeks but after contacting the Customer Care Department I was pleasantly surprised have quickly they found out where my items were and reassured they would be with me very soon, they were.
I placed an order through Fruugo for an item that was carried by a UK retailer. The item was supposedly shipped on December 22, 2013 and estimated arrival date was January 14, 2014. No tracking information was provided. It's now February 11, 2014 and the item is still missing. I send them numeorus e-m,ails and all the replies say that the retailer mailed the item. I disputed the charge with Payapl so hopefully I will get my money back. That is no way to run a business.
Unfortunately I was sent the wrong product so returned it (just before Christmas) and was unable to have the correct item sent as it had sold out in the meantime. Not ideal, but the email communication I received about my return was good, and when I followed up with customer service the response and timeliness I received from Chrissie was excellent - I didn't expect much when given an email address to contact but the service was fantastic and reassured me that this is a great site to shop with. There are always going to be problems from time to time and it's how they handle them that counts. Thanks Chrissie!
I placed a last minute order from the US and it arrived ahead of schedule in time for Christmas. The product itself was exactly as ordered and was a highlight of the holiday. Eleanor could not have been more helpful in communicating with me throughout the entire process; a very refreshing change from today's impersonal world of Internet commerce. I will definitely be ordering from Fruugo again in the future, and I would highly recommend them to others.
Ordered item almost 30 days ago and a couple days later it said it's shipped but no tracking info was ever provided. Item still hasn't arrived. Fruugo says it should have arrived 7-10 days ago. All I get from Fruggo is a form letter email saying they are behind on their emails and to wait 3 days for an email reply. Already did that and still no reply. Disputing transaction with PayPal.
Ik heb op 1 december 2 AC Milan sweatshirts bestelt voor mijn zoon en mijn neefje als kerstcadeau, ze zijn beide van de rekening afgeschreven, 1 is er geleverd maar de ander na 4 weken nog steeds niet, word dus niets meer voor de kerst. Ik heb daarop een mail gestuurd ruim 10 dagen geleden, en nog een 1 week geleden en alleen op de 1ste wel een automatisch antwoord op gekregen met de boodschap dat er binnen drie werkdagen een antwoord zou komen. Dat antwoord is er nog steeds niet. Een telefoonnummer is nergens te vinden, dus dit is waardeloos. Je weet niet of het alsnog word geleverd, en ook niet of je geld word teruggestort.
I have purchased numerous items through their site. I've never had one issue. Always get an email confirming shipping. I've never had to inquire about anything after purchasing an item. The item comes in the mail in a week or so. It's perfect. Not sure what all the negetives are out there. But I've had nothing but smooooooooth purchases with them.
It's my first time to buy camping gear from Fruugo. I came across the website by Google and purchased a Therm-a-rest NeroAir mattress and 1 other stuff from them. The price is very competitive than local importers (in Australia) and even from other close Asia-Pacific ones. Also their customer service team is really helpful and polite to help out my shipping enquiries, therefore I will certainly buy gears from them in the future when I need.
I ordered a bag through the website and received information that my order was confirmed. They took my money, and left me in limbo. I have not received further communication and it has now been 15 days. I have contacted them and still no response. I just want my money back since they can't be bothered to have someone fulfill the order. Buyer beware...this is a terrible way to do business.
I may have been just lucky but after failing to find the product (a beach shelter) in stock in the UK, including with the importers, Fruugo came up trumps. Ordering from the USA would have doubled the cost and was therefore not an option. After ordering and paying I read the reviews and thought I would be let down so started to source an alternative product but within 24 hours I had emails confirming the order status then its 'shipped' status with standard delivery. Two days later it arrived and yes it was from the importers that I had previously phoned only to be told that it would not be in stock until next year. Thank you Fruugo.
I ordered an item over a week ago and as I had not arrived yet I sent them an email last night just to ask if the item had been dispatched yet. Today I got an email saying the item was discontinued and that my order had now been cancelled. It took them a week to tell me the item was discontinued!!! And only after I had contacted them about it… I can’t help but think this is a scam to hold onto customer’s money for a while. They say on the email it will take a few days for the refund. Not happy at all!!!
Seems like I had the same problem as other people. Product offered (pair of shoes) was not in stock .I only bought through Fruugo as site where I usually brought them from did not have in stock. After placing order with Fruugo found out that they were selling on behalf of the very same supplier (albeit more expensive). So I immediately knew there was likely to be a problem as I knew this supplier didn't have it in stock.Shame Fruugo couldn't have checked this before offering for sale. Lo and behold - an"update" email through from Fruugo saying order cancelled, with no more explanation. Not sure if been charged or not yet - will now need to look into. Very disappointing. Be wary!
