Would never use again!

I ordered a Mother's Day card on the Wednesday as I decided to go for a personalised card rather than one from a shop, had seen the advert on tv also stating £1 off when paying by paypal, created my order paid via paypal no £1 discount! Sunday comes... No card! I called them today and they have taken payment and not even processed my order let alone posted it! So one unhappy mum and an extremely unhappy customer! They said they had lost my order and never even rang to inform me, I only got a refund because I called them! Absolute joke! Want even given a good will gesture!

Disgusted!!!

I decided to use Funky Pigeon to buy a few Mothers Day cards and a photo canvas. I started the process on my iPhone 5S and had nothing but difficulty adding photos and adding items to my basket, so switched to my iPad. Again, every time I added an item to my basket, it deleted everything. I eventually succeeded and had everything I wanted! I went through the payment process using PayPal and received all the necessary confirmation emails etc. Late Fri afternoon and nothing had shown up, despite paying a premium for next day delivery! I phoned the company and was told they had taken my money, but not received any order? The woman was blunt, unfriendly, showed no empathy, did bugger all to help and what she did offer to do was....well no help at all really! Why did nobody contact me when they saw a £50 blank order? That have my contact details! They couldn't do anything to help, so offered a refund! Which would be almost a week to reach me! Rubbish!!! Compared to other companies, FP is pretty much the worst I have ever used. I will never use them again and warn others to avoid at all costs!

Disgusted!

Card I wanted, couldn't put names on front. I rang customer service to ask for help, she was rude, very unhelpful, and I will NEVER use their site again!!!.

Flawless x

Just recently used their website as it was much cheaper than moonpig! What it's worth it it's amazing! Designed my mum's mother's day card with plenty of personal photos!
Came in the post today, looks fab and it only took 2 days! Fast as ever! Will definitely be using it more!

Not enough instructions

Tried FP app for the first time. The app looks easy to use, but when I saw the card I was really disappointed .it. What really let's it down is the verse page. The app allows you to choose font (very limited) and size it also allows you to centre the text. But what it doesn't tell you is that it will print the text exactly as you have written it. As this wasn't mentioned I wrote the text as normal leftto right and top to bottom. So wwhen the card is opened the text is at the very top and this leaves a large blank area. So you end up with a totally useless card that would be embarrassing to give to anyone. Totally wasn't of time and money.

Do not carry out simple online instructions correctly

Thought I'd try FP for the first time to send a Valentine's card to my wife. Clicked on place a message on the envelope to say "not to be opened until Feb 14". Had visions of lovely bright envelope arriving with message on front. No such thing, very plain white envelope arrived, looking like a business envelope, with no message at all on the envelope. Looked no different to the rest of the post. When I complained to FP just got fobbed off with "we'll report this to the Quality Team". No explanation at all as to why a routine online instruction was not carried out and subsequently no comment on the envelope. I thought the service and response very poor. Will try MP next time.

Reported correct cards

After my cards got sent out with wrong postcode they printed new cards and sent them to the correct address very happy my dad got his cards thank u

Fast delivery, good quality!

Ordered a card and within the next 24 hours I had received it with no problems at all, reliable and would happily order from again

Quick to take your money but don't bother to deliver goods

Took their money the day after I placed an order but two weeks later still waiting for it....now waiting for a refund since its a whole year till next valentines day I no longer need my card...let's see how long it will take them to give me back my money..!! I'll try moon pig next time

When choosing a card for valentines day I tried to upload a picture on moonpig but wouldnt work. As It was a last minute present I rushed to see other websites that did personalized cards so funky pigeon was the second option. I successfully uploaded the pictures, finished ordering everything. Then I came accross the reviews tbh I was sooooo worried cuz the reviews are appalling. Funky pigeon really needs to fix up their service. Anyways so I needed it for the next day and guess what it came right on time hahahaha so happy and so is my boyfriend! OMG! :D

Absolute Digrace

We sent a friend a bouquet of flowers after a bereavement and what was delivered was a plant worth about a fiver. We paid over £30 for this. When our friend showed us what was sent it was very upsetting and embarrassing. We have complained but our complaint has been ignored. You don't get a second chance in situations like this. I will NEVER use them again

They are busy advertising for valentine's day, I am still waiting for the christmas cards I ordered 14th December! Don't waste your money!

Brilliant Company!

I use them all the time and I have always had all my deliveries quick so I don't see what everyone who has reviewed below is going on about!
It's clear that the only people that are reviewing are the ones who have had problems. Every company has occasional problems!
Excellent company, I will sure continue to use them.

disgraceful service AVOID!

my daughter ordered some cards, paid with paypal, got confirmation email, 7 days later, birthday had passed with no cards arrived, emailed customer service who replied next day saying sorry but payment had been taken but cards had not even been processed!
we were left feeling embarrassed and upset
would not use this company again

Gone downhill...

I used to really like FP and regularly topped up my pre-pay as it was an easy, helpful service which allowed me to add my genuine signature to the cards and post direct to the recipient worldwide. Free postage on UK cards made it a fantastic option.

They then started offering free delivery only on 2 or more cards, fair enough as postal fees increased...they then took away the signature option, this was the only reason I chose them over other card sellers and so, there was no longer a reason for me to choose them over other options.

I asked for my pre-pay money back due to the signature issue. First I was told they planned to reinstate it in the near future, then when I wrote again, approximately 2 weeks later, they said they never planned to do this! This function was the only good thing about FP, which never had the best programme for making your cards, and a worse system if you wanted to alter anything before it posted.

I have been asking for my pre-pay credit back for over a month, each time they say there's a 'problem' with refunding and don't explain what the problem is!

I am giving them a couple of days, then complaining to the OFT as they still have my money! Not good!

Lack of customer service skills... really, don’t bother; they clearly don’t want your money.

Twice I have been in their store at Liverpool Street station and I had to squeeze out a ‘Thank You’ from your sales assistants. I’m not going to use Funkypigeon stores or online, as clearly their policy of when customers hand over their cash, their sales team have a policy of saying nothing. Even when I had to say to their staff “and Thank You”, which today’s sale girl heard from the roll of the eyes, still I didn’t get a peep. Even the gentlemen behind me didn’t get a word of thanks from her. Will things change, I dealt that very much, they are a young company with no idea of customer service.

Absolutely to avoid

I have ordered recently a mug and have it shipped to GErmany. After 10 days the item had not yet arrived. I have written few emails...One was answered with something Not related to my questions...the others had never been answered. I am very upset and angry ...will never used again and I will make sure that they will have bad publicity all the time...they are useless, very bad customer service...PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU DON'T WISH THROUGH YOUR MONEY IN THE BIN....

False Advertising - Your delivery WILL take 2-3 days.

Funky Pigeon lure you into a false sense of security by stating "Royal Mail claim 90% of First Class parcels are delivered the next day" and then mention that we must allow up to working 3 days for delivery for first class. So you think "Yeah, I'll risk it since it's 90% likely to arrive on time". BUT IT NEVER DOES. My "First Class" deliveries have ALWAYS taken 2-3 working days. I have my own Company and know for a FACT first class arrives next day and only around one in 300 of my parcels ever arrives late (so really there should be a 99.7% chance it would arrive the next day) THE TRUTH: They ship them from out of the UK (to save taxes) hence the rubbish postal service. They need to be more honest and stop leading people on. It's false advertising.

AVOID! awful service

Ordered a birthday card with a gift card inside. The poor design of the site meant on confirming a different gift card showed. 3 unanswered emails meant I had to phone. Eventually they agreed to cancel the original incorrect gift card and send the correct one by separate cover. The original birthday card arrived 4 days late, and 10 days later there is still no replacement gift card.
Awful company, shoddy customer service (when I phoned initially they said they were still working through emails from Mothers day 2 weeks previous!! - that tells you how many complaints they get!)
WILL NEVER USE AGAIN.
