Absoulte rubbish, would never use again, will most defiantely never recommend...wouldn't be suprised if the 'positive' comments were from employees/family!!
Company apparently ceased trading in 2010!!
Ordered a bed off the picture on there website...different bed came...returned bed with the delivery man there & then.
matress came 2days later, still no phone call from DAVID MARSHALL the CEO of the company to say about the correct bed being delivered so arranged for the mattress to be collected.
4wks on still waiting for a refund.
Still waiting a call back from a guy called Archie.
& IF DAVID MARSHALL IS INDEED THE CEO THEN HE NEEDS TO GROW SOME BALLS & SOME MANNERS
I wish I read those reviews before I bought anything from Furniture 247! I bought a bed from Furniture 247, which was supposed to be delivered today. I tried to contact the company yesterday, to double-check that it was on its way, just to get a voicemail message that their offices were closed (for no reason!). Being increasingly worried I contacted them first thing today, and was assured that my bed would be delivered today between 1 and 5. I arranged a day-off and was waiting for my bed. Then by 3:30 I got a consignment note from a delivery company, stating that the bed is only been collected from warehouse today. I contacted Furniture 247 again and rude David Thompson, who claimed that he was the manager of the company told me that the bed is going to be delivered tomorrow, end of the story, whilst his colleague with whom I spoke in the morning was not available any more at all! And he was rude to me! Very disappointing indeed!
I ordered Nice dining set on the 29th Nov. They delivered but because I wasn't in when it was delivered it got sent back to their warehouse. I asked if it could simply be re-delivered or if I could have full refund but they claimed they had not received the goods back. Luckily the delivery company have on record that it had been sent back and someone had signed for it also the time and date it was received.
It is now the 4th Feb and I'm still no further along with this! Everytime I send e-mails they are ignored and when I call they say they will phone back but never do. I am at my wits end and if anyone can give me any advice as what to do next I would be immensely greatful. They have taken £180 off me and I have had nothing from them. My children have been eating their dinners on their toy box and Christmas plans had to change all because of this dreadful company.
I ordered a table and 4 chairs, after sitting at home from 8am-6pm for 3 days in a row and about a hundred calls to their so-called Customer Service, they finally arrived, but they were extensively damaged. They refused to collect them and send me new ones, said I had to send them back myself, and pay admin fee on top if I wanted a refund. the quality is rubbish too, the biggest mistake I ever made
Do not consider using them. They are hugely unprofessional, customer service doesn't exist, they took payment and after three months still have not delivered anything. Needless to say they will not return any money and I've had to refer it to a solicitor for assistance.
Furniture247 is a truly awful company. I ordered a wardrobe from them in April. Their website did not say it wasn't in stock. They charged my card. I chased them for delivery, at which point they told me it wasn't in stock and they didn't know when it would be. I asked them to cancel my order and refund the money. I then didn't receive my refund. Then started a very frustrating process of trying to get my money back. Emails are not replied to, phones are often not answered and messages are not responded to. When phones are answered whoever i speak to denies they can authorize a refund and they are spectacularly unhelpful at directing me to someone who can. On one occasion the person who answered the phone told me they were "the temp who does cleaning and stuff". The worst customer experience I've had. I would strongly recommend that anybody who values their cash in their pocket and their sanity does not go anywhere near this company.
This is a dreadful company! do not touch them with a bargepole.
I bought a table and chair set - the table was delivered damaged and there were no chairs - they came later. I sent the table back. We then received the table legs and the chairs and assembled the chairs ready for use.
The table arrived again a week later - the same one! It was simply taped up and sent out again. Now the company refuses to give a refund because the say we have assembled the chairs! As a result it is now in the hands of Barclaycard to recover our money! I will never deal with these charlatans again.
Very poor to non existent customer service. They sent me the wrong product and expected me to pay to put the problem right. Every time I rang they were as unhelpful as they could be and even put the phone down on me. Not only unlawful, but a disgrace. Do not use this company.
I ordered a mattress from their website and received a completely different product as per photo. I took this up with furniture247 . I have never received worse customer service. They were not interested and just hung up the phone on more than one occasion. They have not replied to any emails I have sent on this issue.
I ordered a Veneza king sized bed. The website description stated "The main feature of this bed frame are the four posts which have tasteful cream coloured curtains with matching tie-backs".
Bed arrived (late and in two separate deliveries) with NO curtains. I emailed the company to ask about the omission - the first reply stated the goods were being sent separately, The second reply (a few hours later!) simply said "If you want curtains you have to buy them separately" - no "dear sir/madam or apologies for a misleading description, not even a "yours sincerely"!!!
The curtains never arrived, I sent many emails most were ignored, and the last was another rude one liner. I have since reported the company to Advertising standards.
I would never use this company again and would never recommend to anyone (not even my worst enemy), the misleading description on the website was one thing, but the sheer couldn't-care-less attitude in their terse emails was in a whole other league. Utterly disgusting.
Took my money as soon as i ordered via their website but have had no goods , Have had no contact from them Ring every day and if i do get through its allways to someone ' who can't help ' but will take your number and promise someone will ring you back .. and that never happens, countless emails and no reply from them all i want is my £364.99 returned to me.
Trading Standards have had complaint after complaint regarding this company and the more people who complain will eventually hopefully cease them from trading
