Very keen pricing. I approached one of my regular suppliers to see if they cold do a price match on some chairs. In medical equipment they will offer price match on virtually anything I ask for providing I can show the product advertised elsewhere. In this circumstance I was told that they pay more for the chairs than the Furniture at Work selling price.
Normally low prices go hand in hand with reduced standards of service. Not with Furniture at Work. The call centre was excellent, the emailed invoice was efficient and timely and I was called to arrange a delivery date. Well Done Furniture at Work.

not satisfied with having to pay extra delivery for an item not explained on ordering and chair not working properly
ordered desk, chair and white board. Few days after order was told i had to pay extra for chair delivery rest was free. On recieving the chair it is not at correct height cant be adjusted very disappointed and wont order from company again

FURNITURE DOES NOT WORK
STILL WAITING FOR CORRECT COMPLETION OF MY ORDER WHICH WAS DELIVERED ON SEPTEMBER 5TH.
3 DRAUGHTSMANS CHAIRS WERE DELIVERED IN 6 BOXES.
4 BOXES WERE CORRECT 2 BOXES HAD INCORRECT PARTS.
DESPITE MANY 0844 PHONECALLS AND NUMEROUS EMAILS TO CUSTOMER SERVICES MY ORDER IS STILL NOT FULFILLED AND DESPITE THE SUPPOSED 48 HOUR RESPONSE I HAVE HAD NO REPLY.
MYSELF AND STAFF WOULD NOT DREAM OF GIVING THIS SERVICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

RUBBISH
There is only one phone number and that is for 'Sales'. I have tried upteen times to speak to someone in 'After sales' only to be left on hold for over 5 minutes, one occassion I stayed on for 10 mins. I have emailed my query yesterday and still I have not had a response. I feel the company takes your money and doesn't care what happens after the sale has been made.

Great service, shame about the poor quality products
We bought a number of items and were very pleased with them, delivered and built (had to pay). We then ordered more items from a different range made by the same manufacturer, and presented in the brochure as better quality products. Dreadful quality, awful design and veneer, had to build them ourselves, they look like 1960s utility furniture with cheap and nasty handles, cardboard backs rather than hard board - not at al what was presented in the brochure. The engineering of the fit, however, was spot-on. Overall, very unhappy. Will 'put up with them' for a couple of years - if they last that long - and then buy again, but not from Furniture @ Work as the quality is too variable and unreliable.

A bit like MFI was years ago!
Well packaged and delivered on time but sadly the desk had the holes drilled about 7mm out of place with the holes in the legs! Oh dear, such a basic error. I'll not be rushing back.

Has to wait 3 weeks for delivery which was too long.
Rang to chase up and was told i would get a phone call day before delivery which i didn't.
on the plus side the delivery man was superb and couldn't do enough for us, unwrapping it and asking where to position it even when told we would do it.

Really helpful and responsive service
When I found the product I wanted in the Furniture@Work brochure I then went online to buy it. Before I got onto the website a big warning flashed up about how unreliable their website was and that their customer service was awful. Despite this I did order my office chair. It arrived promptly. When my husband then tried to put the chair together, the back of the chair did not fit and got slightly torn. He phoned customer services who were very helpful and said they would despatch another chair back. This arrived very quickly and our new chair is super.
So the dire warnings about the website and customer service were not correct from my perspective and I would be pleased to order other office products from them as required.

Almost Great service !
Delivery was fast and efficient. The only problem was that the little cough that was to go in the bottom to fit the pedestal wheels into did not fit into the hole that had been drilled in the pedestals.

DREADFUL COMPANY - Dreadful service, substandard product!
I ordered 3 desks on 24 hour delivery (which I paid a premium for) this turned up in 3 days. Furniture@Work were not at all sympathetic and would not refund the premium I paid for the 24 hour delivery service. Had to waste loads of time, had to threaten legal action, and had to explain to 3 different people and wait 2 weeks for a resolution. They did not tell me the product would not be delivered the expected day and I found this out when I had waited in for delivery all day and phoned the company to chase delivery update - to be told the products were not even in stock.
I finally got what I paid for, but they were very rude and unprofessional and tried to anything to avoid giving me money back that I paid for the 24 hour delivery (which was £99 extra).
2 desks I received would not assemble correctly, one I had to use a metal saw to shorted the height adjusting leg and one other desk had to drill a new hole in the leg assembly to get it to screw toegther as it should have done.
My advise is to not use this company - poor quality product, they do not deliver on their promises and the customer service is non existent.

Quick delivery, poor communication
Put in an order for 3 safes, 2 of them were delivered no problem. One went out of stock after I had already ordered, received an email from customer services telling me I could have another, I replied to this several times and rang the team as I needed to know the cash insurance holding limit but when I called they just told me to reply to the customer services email again. Not helpful as the site was due to open and I needed a safe urgently. When someone finally replied and I agreed to go for this they then informed me that this was now out of stock and I could have a 3rd option which I agreed to but again no one replied confirming whether they would be ordering this or not. Hopefully this is now ordered

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Don't use this company if you want good customer service. They hound you for your order but then when they delivery goods not fit for purpose they refuse to send out the missing items.
We order 5 desks and 4 pedestal units, having had goods previously, which were being delivered to our new premises. The warehouse was being redeveloped so when the goods were delivered they were signed for my our builders. They all came on a pallet and the delivery note did not state how many boxes there was, only how many items which is not the same thing. A couple of weeks later, once the works were finished we started to put the desks together and noticed a set of legs missing so we now have a desk top with no legs - not very useful!!
We contacted Furniture at Work only to be told that there was nothing they could do and we would have to purchase a set of legs - which does beg the question who orders just a desktop or just a set of legs??
They are saying that as my builder did not indicate that anything was missing then as far as they are concerned everything has been delivered! Also, because of the time between delivery and notifying them they again could not do anything. My argument is that how was the builder to know what there was supposed to be, he was simply signing for the delivery. Furniture at Work knew we had work going on and that we would not be using the desks for a little while.
When I said fine I'll return the desk they refused to give me a full refund as the legs are missing!! I think this is very poor customer service for what is a very inexpensive solution for them. After all, what use is a desk without legs, its not like I am trying to get anything extra to what I have ordered.
I would not use this company again until I get a satisfactory outcome and am considering taking the matter up with my credit card company as in my opinion Furniture at Work have supplied a product not fit for purpose.

Almost There!
Furniture@Work are a great company to deal with - very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I ordered various items (cupboards, bookcases and chairs) The cupboards and bookcases were delivered on time and the delivery staff assembled them without fuss and very efficiently - excellent. The only problem has been with the chairs. A different carrier is apparently involved and they have been absolutely hopeless - four dates given for delivery and each time I have waited at the premises but no show! The carrier has proved almost impossible to talk to face to face as it were as they use an automated text system to arrange dates! But for this Furniture@Work would have had five stars

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE
After a number of weeks of awaiting delivery of my order, I was told it would come the next day, I waited another 4 days, and still hadn't received it, despite having ordered a skip to dispose of my old items. I'm STILL awaiting delivery, and it's now cost me another £400, as I'll have to have items disposed of.
I will NOT be using Furniture @ Work again.
