Do not use this company. They took my money within a day and I have not heard from them since. No reply to emails. Their phone number does not work. They are thieves !!!!!!!!!!!!! They will probably go else where and set up a new company and carry on their evil ways.
I have learned ...
1) That I need to always find and read reviews on companies that I buy from online. I would never have used this company had I searched for reviews.
2) Try the telephone number before you buy to check that the line exists.
3) Pay with a credit card for added protection.
Please don't be as naive or trusting as me. I have lost £370.
Bought a Madison bedstead. They took the money immediately. No confirmation of receipt of order as in website so I called was told I would get the item in the next couple of days. It arrived so I thought I am the lucky one with all the bad reviews. But guess what it's damaged. Emails are returned, The telephone numbers don't work and the website has disappeared. I can't believe I have been so stupid!!!! Rang Bentley designs who manufactured and delivered the bed and explained the situation and stated all I need is a replacement head end. They told me to contact furniture buyer. I said I can't as their phone numbers and mail don't work. They gave me new numbers they don't work either. They weren't very helpful either!! Mailed the new email address got a quick response asking for various codes. I immediately responded asking what they meant and have heard nothing. I have friends arriving from Australia and no where for them to sleep. And neither Bentley designs or furniture buyer seem interested. I have raised a dispute with my credit card as don't think I will get a replacement or refund based on the reviews or the fact they have no contact numbers or website.
This is an appalling company with no application of fairness. They have no customer service. You cannot easily get through to them on the telephone. They do not read your e-mails properly. They boarder on criminal behaviour. I bought some goods (about £690) where they said delivery would be 2-3 days. Over a month later I received some of the goods and they were damaged. No explanation was provided as to why I had only received some of the goods? If I wanted a replacement I would have to wait several more weeks. I asked for a refund around 19 February 2013 and I still have not received the same. I have threatened court proceedings but that has no effect. They took my money in an instant and now simply wont pay me back. I strongly urge and recommend never using this company!!! I Woeful and shameful behaviour. I have also contacted Trading Standards and asked them to investigate why they have refused to give me a refund. I am now contemplating issuing Court proceedings, as they will not give me a satisfactory refund. Use them at your own peril. Any refund I may be provided may take 4 months or more to get. This is after I placed my original order in January 2013, so that would take me to August 2013, when they received the returned goods on 11 March 2013. The refund may apparently have come through my bank (I used my debit card), as this company have refused to refund me. They took my money and have simply kept it!!. This company do not care for their customers at all and they will keep your money if you return the goods.

Made an order online at the end of March, was called 2 days later to be told that an employee had inadvertently cancelled my order and that I would receive a refund in 48-72 hours. I was asked to make a payment by card over the phone which I refused to provide as it was insecure and sounded dodgy. As expected no refund has materialised and after phoning and speaking to the alleged manager who told me that SagePay is holding my refund and that I will have to chase with my bank, I have been offered delivery of the products which is interesting given that I am supposed to be being refunded. I have been accused by the alleged manager of basically being a liar and misunderstanding the situation. I now have no products and am £562 out of pocket. Trading Standards have been informed, please do not use this company under any circumstances. They are untrustworthy bordering on criminal and have absolutely no concept of customer service.

We ordered (and paid for) a table on 2nd Feb 2013 - the website said 5-7 days delivery.... and promised great Customer Service.
It is now April and we are STILL waiting for the table to be delivered. Furniturebuyer have replied to 2 emails with further delivery dates (none of which have happened).... They are now not responding to my emails and are not answering the phone, and they are not available on 'live chat'. They have gone silent on me.
I am now dealing with my credit card compnay and in the process of obtaining a refund via my credit card for non-delivery of goods. I am also in the process of writing to Trading Standards to make a formal complaint.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - they do not uphold their promise to deliver, and do not have any Customer Service, let alone 'outstanding customer service'!

I placed an order for a dining table with Furniture Buyer on 3rd October 2012 and was told (on the telephone, by Ran of Furniture Buyer) that it would be painted the colour I required and delivered in 4-6 weeks - which I thought would be in plenty of time to arrive before Christmas...WRONG!! After numerous emails and phone calls from myself, I received my first email from Furniture Buyer on 26th November 2012, stating that they would contact me the following Wednesday with a date for delivery (baring in mind they had now already breached their contract, according to the Trading Standards Agency).
This process went on until well into December - me emailing and phoning to be told the delivery will be here next week (every time I spoke to them) - during this time Furniture Buyer never kept to their word; I didn't receive any updates either by telephone or email.
By this time, Christmas was fast approaching and still no table - I emailed once again asking if the table would be delivered in time for Christmas and once again promised by Furniture Buyer that it would be.
Well Christmas Eve came, but no table! -I telephoned Furniture Buyer and there phone line would ring, then no answer, but an engaged tone - so we had the inconvenience of having to go to a store and buy a table that would seat all of our guests over Christmas.
So now we didn't need the table, after the holidays I telephoned to cancel my order and asked for a full refund, I was told to put that request in an email to their customer service department ...so I did just that and received an email back stating; we have cancelled the order and forwarded the details to the accounts for a refund that will be processed in 10 days.
Well guess what? ...to this day I am still waiting for my refund!!!
I have phoned a number of times, my husband has phoned a number of times since and we just keep being told the same thing (by the same person; Sam) over and over; a full refund will be credited to your card within 3 days...
This is what it states on their website;

ALSO; *Service and quality second to none* (absolute rubbish!)
AND; *live support* (isn't very live at all!!)
I do hope this helps any potential buyers make a decision on whether to purchase anything from 'Furniture Buyer'...
They are very unprofessional, incompetent, deceitful and have no knowledge, what so ever, of Good customer service!!
A note to Furniture Buyer; Customer service is the provision of service to customers before, during and after a purchase... its not just about stating on your website; "Service and Quality second to none"!!

Well, how easy was it to post a negative review on TrustPilot? Not easy let me tell you. They 'simply' ask for your Customer Order ID but it seems that's not enough and you have to jump through so many hoops just to make a post most people will simply give up. I had to forward a copy of my invoice just to get this up so whatever you're reading on here, believe me it must be the tip of the iceberg!!!! Call me a cynic, but to stop clients posting bad reviews seems to be a simple affair. Just change the order number syntax when you know you're having supply problems and no one can post a review. Simples!
Enough about TrustPilot however, let's talk about Furniture Buyer.
Having a dealt with other on-line furniture stores which were abhorrently slow I was careful to check Furniture Buyer out on a few review sites. All looked good. Plenty of positive feedback from most if not all of the most recent reviews.
I ordered with confidence! We had some friends coming to stay towards the end of Jan and I needed some new tables so I ordered these at the end of December with the web site stating a maximum 14 days delivery (4-14 days delivery I recall was their promise).
Now I didn't expect them to have these in stock, most on-line stores order direct from the manufacturers and ship them direct (just like a shop would), but I do expect that when they state a maximum delivery time they keep to it. I didn't want my account debited immediately for the full amount and then have to wait 5 weeks for them to turn up. If I'd have wanted this I'd have gone to another web site that promised to give me the run-around and purchased from them!!!!
Frankly this sort of business isn't hard. It's selling by the numbers and a simple flow diagram with branching exceptions would allow any competent programmer to construct a simple CRM system that would handle it all. Clearly they don't have one!
My emails weren't answered correctly (when and if I actually got a reply) and their customer service telephone number goes through to either an engaged tone (after one ring) or to an off-shore call handling centre.
This isn't rocket science guys, yes I'm talking to you Furniture Buyer, if a shipment is delayed or you have a problem, CALL the client. As long as clients are kept well informed they are generally happy. Even if you send them an email that says ' Hi, just to let you know we haven't forgotten about you, although there's been a delay in shipping which we let you know about, we thought we'd just let you know that......'. It goes along way you know. Being treated like a mushroom and kept in the dark, well that's when you get negative reviews and that's how I was treated.
Clearly they have the basis for a good business but right now they aren't delivering on their promises.
My tables turned up and they are fine, but then again they should be. They only sold them, they didn't make them so I can't actually give any plus points just because something turned up undamaged, that should be a given.
If I was to sum everything up I would say, yes, their prices seem good, delivery when it happens is on the (eventually) promised day and time slot but if you're looking for something to a specific time-scale tread VERY carefully. If you're NOT in a hurry and DON'T MIND waiting beyond the promised date at time of sale AND don't mind being kept in the dark - Furniture Buyer are the guys to go to.
BEWARE! Some months ago I purchased a bed from this company. After a few months of use the sprung edge on one side collapsed, and I contacted them expecting a repair or replacement under the terms of the one year warranty.
The first response from Furniture Buyer was that the warranty period was over. I was able to produce written evidence that this was not true, and after further correspondence was informed, "there has been no manufacturing defect with respect to the bed and the damage is due to usage." Their argument seems to be that I have damaged the bed by sleeping on it!
My conclusion is that you buy from Furniture Buyer at your own risk - the one year replacement or repair warranty will not be honoured and is completely worthless.
Unacceptable!!!!!! Ordered 3 No items on 29/01/12 on a 6 week lead time, received 2 items at 8 weeks. I have phoned and e-mailed countless times to get a date for the delivery of my remaining item and still have not had an answer. It is now the 31/05/12 and I have totally lost my temper.
Terrible customer service and I shall be putting a boot in if I do not here back today!!
I had to chase-up my furniture order over a number of weeks and was given false information on several occasions - i would not buy from this company again.
I ordered the Akita range from FB and they delivered very quickly and at a great price I have always thought that the companies that are very keen on price always provide a bad service but not FB the service was spot on and I would recommend to anyone.
Searched the net for a two seater dining table and chairs. Found one on several sites but there was always a catch, even when the price was right. Got in touch with Furniture Buyer, the price was matched to the lowest price we found, the delivery time was better and pick up from warehouse in Birmingham was arranged. But here is the kicker, when we were phoned - as arranged and on time - the manager/owner said he would arrange for us to pick it up from his home which is considerably closer to us than the warehouse, saving us time, petrol and money. Can't rate this service highly enough. Larger items may not always get that 'special service' but if he can help he sure will.
Got the table home, assembled it in 15 minutes, chairs took a little longer, stood back to admire. Quality fantastic, not reselling!!!!!
We ordered our items on the 10th June and they were delivered on the 19th June.
I found the website through www.furniturediscountvouchers.co.uk which was great as I got an extra 10% off when I used the voucher codes that was advertised.
As I placed the order online I did not expect a call from the sales team but I got a call to tell me the order was being processed and that I will be contact on the 16th by the couriers to have my delivery booked in for the 19th this happened as planned and I am quite impressed.
I have had a good experience dealing with Furniturebuyer.co.uk they delivered my goods on time and at a great price, the delivery was booked in 4 days prior to the delivery and a 2 hour window given.

I ordered the Bentley Designs Toledo range. The company did exactly as they promised. They delivered the products quicker than their website even indicated which was excellent. I would recommend this company to everyone. Very simple online shopping experience - the way it should be.
I purchased a Sterling park bedstead the item was delivered on time and was the best price on the Internet.
The customer service team kept me updated regulary and when the delivery arrived the delivery team were very good.

My experience of this company was very good, the headboard was a really good price saving over £70. on the same item on sale at Dreams and BHS.
Waited just 2 weeks which is acceptable as Dreams and BHS had a six week wait.
I would recommend this company although I am worried about the negative reviews I have seen on the question of refunds.
I hope they are reviewing their standards over this matter.
The website was easy to use and I rang the store to check details and the member of staff was extremely helpful. He returned my call with the additional information I requested within 30 minutes. I have saved the websitr in my Favourite File
Delivery took over two months which is ok but I had to chase it up myself so not a good start. However, their responses were personal, not automated, which was good. When I got the product (New Orleans Cheval Mirror) the instructions were so good, with all fixtures and fittings labelled, I put it together by myself - and I'm a girl! Now it's up, it looks fabulous and so much more expensive than the price paid. It was definitely worth the wait and I would do business with these guys again.
