They do what they say

Ordered a NQD Jet Sprint R/C boat, knowing the description is wrong, but it's NOT Gadget Box's fault, the manufacturer does not know what scale it's own products are! the boat is offered as 1/25th scale, it is printed on the box by the manufacturer :-NQD in fact the model is 1/10th scale and therefore Ideal to accompany any 1/10th scale R/C car, the reason I bought it in the first place. It seems all the retailers have accepted the manufacturers details as correct without actually checking, perhaps an issue for trading standards rather than the retailer as they have acted in good faith. Perhaps a horse crept in somewhere!!
The boat turned up well packaged and in good time no problems with Gadget Box at all.

Pitbike

this is a joke my pitbike just over 1week old and a non runner due to fualty wiring and they want to charge me to recover the bike can do one it should be covered by Warrenty

I ordered a voucher via living social and ordered what I had bought a few days later. I did have a worried thought after seeing some bad reviews on google but the item was delivered within 48hrs, and I have to admit I'm quite impressed

Great customer service

I had to return a faulty Traaxas Monster truck just after xmas and the response was 1st class. John arranged a collection for me and it worked like clock-work. my truck needed a replacement speed controller. It needed to be ordered. This was done speedily. My son had his xmas pressie back in days. Great customer service from John - many thanx

Great value & quick delivery.

I bought a remote controlled car for my niece for Christmas & I couldn't believe how great the prices where on GadgetBox. Within 2 working days I received my parcel. The model of car is so real I couldn't believe how great it was. Only thing I was unsure about was I didn't get to choose the colour of car. The picture had white & red cars & I received silver which is perfect but would have liked to he given a choice.

Still waiting for a refund 37 days after product was returned.......

I ordered a remote controlled boat for my husband's Christmas which looked brilliant on the website. It was delivered the next day which I was very impressed with. However, after opening the box I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the boat. It looked on the website as if the writing was painted on but in actual fact they were stickers which had been very poorly stuck on. The paintwork was chipped in places and it just looked really cheap and shabby. Not what I would expect for the best part of £50. I phoned Customer Services to return the item and I was told to package it up and return it through the Post Office. It cost me £12.60 to return and it had already cost me £3.95 to receive! I got an email confirmation on 16th November to say that my item had been accepted for a refund. On the 5th December I emailed to find out what was happening with my refund as it still hadn't appeared back in my Paypal account. I got a very short email back saying that my refund was with their accounts department. I emailed again on the 13th December to chase them up again and as yet I haven't received a reply. I honestly don't know what could be taking so long. I've bought various items from other websites over the last month or so and if I've had to return an item I've had the money back in my account within days. I certainly will not be recommending this company to anyone. They might have a superfast delivery service but their returns procedure is an absolute joke.

Absolutely fantastic company

An easy to navigate website. Very reasonable competitive rates. Fantastic communication with step by step emails of what was happening and what stage my order was at. Well packaged and fabulous quality. With no hesitations I would buy from again and tell others to buy from there.

Nice quick and easy service, quick delivery but some items could be packed a little better.

Ordering was very easy along with creating a sign in registration and payment of the goods.

It would have been nice to create a proper delivery address rather than the Invoice address as I often have items delivered at work due to no one being at home to accept a delivery.

The delivery service was nice and quick within 2 days of ordering.

My only concern all be it very minor was that all three items can in one jiffy bag which is no problem. One of my items was a small glass fuse which could have easily got smashed. Ideally this should be wrapped in its own packaging, if I were to send something similar then it would have been wrapped in its own cardboard case, sellotaped down so that it can not slip out.

ordered my tamiya hornet xb rtr always wanted another since i was 14 now a 40 something could say a cheap midlife crisis compared to say an open topped sportscar . As for gadgetbox service was first rate emailed me through every step of purchase not to mention the cheapest online at the time and free delivery of which i recieved the very next day. happy days !! would definatley use again.

Very Helpful

I ordered the goods at the weekend - they were sent out on Monday and arrived well packed on Tuesday. I received emails at each stage of the process. First rate service all round.

Very fast and efficient service

Ordered a swimming pool from the site, and received it very quickly, and all seems to be in order. Communication via email was brilliant, and swift. Had no reason to contact them (still to open pool, so hopefully will have no need to!)

i am overall pleased with gadget box everything is how it should be apart from a couple of tiny scratches on my product because poorly packaged or during transit .. also the products could do with being a little less fragile eg the mini moto screws falling out when riding and the pull start has sharp bits of plastic on it which cut your hands to bits. apart from that i am very pleased and am thinking about ordering again

I ordered the plane at10am and received it the following morning at 1200. I was also kept informed by E mail at every stage of the item being packed and despatched . Was then able to track it with Fedex , All inall great service. Will deal again.

Build quality of items was poor but then again you get what you pay for and i did order the cheapest parts going but still... they work and i have had no problems with them.

Poor on faults

bike broke on the first day, contacted them by email on the next day and a provided a photo of the broken part. After sending 2 emails last week to see what was happening which I got no reply. This Monday I rang again and was promised they would call back in 10 minutes - never happened. Finally got Neill on the phone and he told me the part had been lost but would send it out today. got the email to confirm that this morning. But I did not expect to need 3 emails and 3 calls to get a simple matter resolved. Simply not good enough!!!

Ordered a mini moto, had problems with it, called customer service and got help sorting it out without any hassle! These guys are good and cheap! Same moto online was going for £179.99 and gadget box has it for £109.99 bargain!! Recommended for sure!

it was a hovering experience

my experience with gadget box was very easy to order.My helicopter arrived within 2 days of orderingit looked amazing value for what i paid for it but unfortunately it was for my grandson who i thought was to young for this model,it did not give an age group it only said ideal for the beginner.But fair due to gadget box when i contacted them i could return it for a refund they even told me how to return it with a courier service.
