From start to finish it was a pleasure to deal with the guys at Gadget Grotto. The ordering process was slick and delivery time was fine. All post purchase queries were dealt with quickly and with a touch of humour and the RC helio that I bought was as described. Overall a great shopping experience and I will always check the website for future purchases.
I bought 2 Lava Lamps from Gadget Grotto paid express delivery to make sure I got them in time for Easter, 13 days later I am still waiting for the item. Was told the item had been delivered which was utter lies. Have sent 7 emails which have been ignored and now have no goods or refund. I would advise anybody to stay anyway from this shop. Now have no choice but to go to Action Fraud / Consumer Direct in the hope that this will be solved. AVOID THIS SHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered a home brew kit from gadget grotto. It arrived in incredibly quick time and a good outer condition. The product didn't appear to come with instructions but, once I communicated this, gadget grotto were very helpful and provided me with an electronic copy of the instructions on the same day.
The purchase was a present and therefore I have yet to see how good the product is when you use it. But I am extremely happy dealing with gadget grotto so far!
Googled a specific item I was looking for and Gadget Grotto came up selling it the cheapest. By then ordering a little extra i got free delivery, saving even more more. Then when it came to delivery it was very quick

Easy to use, ordered and delivered next day as promised. Great! Only thing I would say is it could do with a tracking system or if they could send a message to let you know the item has been dispatched that would be great.
I have been waiting well over a week now for my delivery, which I tried to cancel, it obviously has been as I haven't received and I haven't got a refund either. When contacted them about this yesterday morning, no one bothered to reply. Not only bad service, but rude too. If I don't get my refund or goods by the end of a week, only way is court
I placed an order with the site and paid using the Pay Pal option I then realised that the Pay Pal account I have has an old address attached to it and Gadget Grotto pulls the address from Pay Pal.
I immediately sent a customer services email requesting a change of address and to be sure I logged into the account and changed my delivery address. I did this within a matter of minutes of placing the order.
I received an email the very next day saying that it was too late to change my address and the goods will be shipped to the address on Paypal so I never received the product.
I was stunned at this response especially as I changed the delivery address within minutes of placing the order and raised it through customer service.
THE RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS ALTHOUGH I EMAILED THE COMPANY AS STATED ABOVE I WENT ON THEIR SYSTEM MINUTES AFTER PLACING THE ORDER AND CHANGED THE DELIVERY ADDRESS. NO ORDERS LEAVE A BUILDING THAT QUICK!!

Original message sent 1st March 2013: I received my item on Wednesday 27th February and the box was damaged and the item is clearly a used item as it was dirty on the outside and the the inside foam where you put the battery is clearly dirty.
I am extremely dissappointed with my order. I expect to receive a full refund along with the amount I paid for the delivery. On your website it stated a 'fast delivery' and yet it has taken a week to receive my item even though I paid for the delivery.
Please send my authorisation (RMA) number as a matter of urgency.
The Combustion engine model was recommended by a friend and I was really pleased with it, it arrived within 3 working days via Royal mail. It was very well packaged and the instructions were clear and precise. (Not a lot of that nowadays) Being a pensioner it gave my several hours (About 6) of relaxation and pleasure when I now run the motor. Thanks G G well done.
I was pleased with the ease of the ordering system and also pleased with the fast delivery. My only disappointment was the packaging. The box had clearly been opened and repacked and it just made me feel that maybe my goods were not brand new - having said that there was no sign of it having been used before but it was disappointing to not have an unopened box.
I placed my order on-line on the 29th Janauary 2013 & the money was deducted instantly from my account. I waited and waited for my delivery to turn up but it never did. I contacted them asking where my delivery was and was told to wait 14 days to see if it arrived. I did that and then contacted them again saying it was still missing. Customer services said they would check with the warehouse to see if the item had been returned and then silence - I have been emailing them constantly but have received no response or any assurance I will get my money back. Awful customer service and no way of actually speaking to anybody on the telephone. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Not only did I not receive my husband's birthday present I have had to pay for an item never received/sent. I am contacting trading standards and my bank to see how I can recover my stolen money.

Ordered and paid for goods. Nothing arrived after over a week. Received no communication so contacted them. Didn't have the item in stock after all.
Item finally arrived and was totally satisfied. I just would have liked to have been better informed

Product was a present and the receiver is very happy!
Only down side was lack of communication from after sale to delivery so would be less tempted to use again as opposed to other online retailers. Took over 5 business days to arrive and was left on my doorstep Saturday morning
This is a useful insulated mug which keeps drinks hot successfully when travelling. I had expected the lid and pouring action to be watertight but it leaks a little when inverted. I would have returned it but I bought it for my daughter who lives more than a 100 miles away, so that was not convenient. However she can use it in the car.
Not much to say really. I put the order through. Had it sent to my work address, which was no problem. Received the item, fully functioning. Good price, too.
I'd definitely shop here again.

I have now emailed 3 times and never had a response. I would NEVER use this company again due to the complete absence of any customer service. I still await a response and a refund for goods I have paid for but never received.
service was fine, package came quickly, although in confirmation email it said I would be notified when my parcel was being dispatched, and as it was for a birthday present I thought i would like to telephone someone to maybe upgrade my delivery to ensure it arrived on time but there is no facility to do this ,only an email address which may take a while to be answered. As it was it didnt matter as the parcel arrived after 3 working days.
A scrummily spacious garment, replete with pockets, cuffs and hood. The overall effect is of the grim reapers softer side, leaving his sythe outside and kicking back in teddy bear fashion. Searching for prices on a radio controlled helicopter I found it cheapest on Gadget Grotto. I ordered it on a Thursday with standard delivery expecting it to take a couple of days, it arrived the next day which was a nice surprise and really great service.
Its now ten days since i have ordered my products and it still hasnt arrived after i paid for an express delivery. I have left a message on the customer service number that was displayed through paypal and no one has had the manners to even ring and tell me why i havent received my products. I have also emailed Gadget Grotto asking where my goods are and they havent got the manners to conact me either. I dont even know if i am going to receive what i have ordered. AVOID THIS LOT LIKE THE PLAGUE.
I received my order on Saturday 5th January. Good delivery time but the game was damaged. Since then I have tried repeatedly both online and by phone to effect an exchange but so far have had no response. Very poor after sales service.
Since reading other reviews, I realise I am not on my own with the poor service from this company. I rang Mankind but 'all their lines were busy' I left a message but no-one has replied.
Wanted by 29 December but only ordered on 27 December. Didn't want to pay exhorbitant next day delivery charges for something costing only £11. This express delivery cost £3.99 and the item was delivered on 28 December - superb service
I strongly suggest that no one buy from Gadget Grotto. They make it impossible for you to query, cancel or get a refund on an existing order. Trading Standards were informed after my last wrangle with them.
my son bought me a helicopter for xmas and was very pleased how he was treated ,i liked it that much i looked at the larger one s so i ordered one online ,the delivery was so quick well packed and the item is really great better then i expected many thanks ,
I ordered my item mid afternoon on 20th Dec and even though the website site said that i had missed the cut off date for the xmas delivery it arrived on 22nd Dec - Amazing! My son was thrilled as he had seen we had missed the cut off date.
