I am trying to cancel 2 games from gameplay who have always been great but now they have joined up with Gamestation who keep you on the telephone for 30 minutes (still no answer) and it costs 10p per minute. Gamestation are the worst yet use Game.co.uk
STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE!! i wish id of read reviews before purchase. ive been trying to get refund since November 2011 now and still nothing, sent no end of claim forms out and they say they've not received none of them. my item never showed up after this long. absolutely disgusting customer service!! stay away be warned
I ordered the XBox 360 250gb with Kinect Sensor & Kinect Adventures during the evening of 09/01/12. Today is 11/01/12, and I have my parcel! Very impressed with the prompt despatch - better than Amazon! I would thoroughly recommend this webstore, great bargains to be grabbed!
Ordered a game from Gameplay on the 9.12.11. A week later it still hadnt arrived so i rang up and spoke to a guy who told me they forgot to post it and they would post it the next day definatly to be delivered by the 19th latest of the 20th. 19th arrived still no game and when i called back they said when i ordered it on the 9th it was atcually out of stock and it was a site error. They still took my money and fed me a lode of rubbish the first time i called, saying it was in his hand and he would post it the next day!
No proof of refund! Would not shop with Gameplay again.
I pre ordered a game and paid for but it did not arrive on release date. I was then told I would need to wait 14 working days to log it as missing then wait for another to be posted. So, having pre ordered a game, I am not going to receive it for nearly 3 weeks following its release date. I have no idea what their arrangement is with their courier/postal service and frankly I don't care I pre paid for a product to be delivered on release and never received it, whatever happened in the middle is Gameplays concern not mine.
i have been placing orders at gameplay for quite some time now (2 years now i think) and i haven't had any bad experience with em yet. they're quick to dispatch the order, the preowned games i have bought so far, looks almost like new. I cant complain over the delivery time either, takes like 1 week for the package to arrive, but since i live in denmark, i would say that is normal.
Personally i recommend this site to friends if they want cheap games.

It is amazing this company is still in business! They certainly don't deserve to be.
They do not reply to emails... But they do take your money... After 1 week and 5 unanswered emails I am still waiting for my item to be dispatched even though the website states it is in stock. I will never shop with them again. I recommend strongly to avoid this company or you will probably be sorry too !!. There are plenty of better companies out there that provide good customer service and good communication. If I had read the reviews here beforehand I would never have shopped at this dodgy company...
Bestilte et par spil på Gameplay.co.uk, men fandt bedre priser på Game.co.uk og afbestilte derfor straks (indenfor ganske få minutter). Gameplays supportafdeling blev imidlertid ved med at ignorere mine talrige cancellation requests og har nu (fire timer efter, at jeg prøvede at annullere min ordre) sendt dem afsted alligevel. Ganske enkelt ikke acceptabelt.
First off, let me say the order and delivery process was good. Items arrived within a week and the website was quite easy to use.
The problem started when I wanted to return one of the items I bought. Fair play it was my mistake as the game I bought was wrong.
The site does not have a return process, so you either have to call or email them. Ok, so im a busy person (lazy) and I decided to send an email (08/11/10) rather then call. Two days later (10/11/10), after not receiving a response, apart from the automated “we will look into your query ASAP” email I decided to email again. This time I got a response within minutes! Unfortunately the response was that I needed to provide my address (Id already provided my Name, Account number, Product description and order number on my original email).
So, on the same day (10/11/10) I emailed again with my address included. The following day 11/11/10) I received an email to say that my return had been authorised, yay. Strangely, they had responded to my original email without my address.
So, now with my return authorised and a secret code to enter on the package I managed to make the journey to the post office and braved the 30min queue to get proof of postage (16/11/10). Ok, so it took me 5 days to do it but I’ve already said that im busy (lazy).
Now, I left it for 21 days without a phone call or email back and more importantly a refund. My patience wearing thin I sent another email (07/12/10) asking if they had any idea how long it will take to get a refund. Five days later (12/12/10) received a response to say that the refund was already processed (06/12/10), yay, however it will take between 5 to 10 working days to transfer into my account, boo.
It is now 8 days into the 5 to 10 day estimate and not a refund in sight. Looking forward to next Monday, as this is when I should have my money back :-)
If I do receive my refund on the 10th day (20/12/10) the refund process would have taken 42 days from start to finish. 6 weeks! On top of the amount of time its taken is that lack of any updates whatsoever. Why can I get an email when they receive a return? Why cant I get an email when the return has been authorised? Why cant I get an email when the payment is being made?
Would I order from Gameplay again? No.
Would I recommend Gameplay? No
Would I mention my bad experience at every opportunity and to any one that will listen? Yes

I Pre-ordered a game in May, on launch day I checked the order, still 'ordered', contact online customer services who tell me the order was cancelled to due failed card, no Email or chance to check card details (which were checked when placing the order) just cancelled. OK, I get them to price match the pre-order on the new order and give card again and they say it should go out that day, following day I get an email about the first order being cancelled. Check online, no update to new order, Online Customer Service (OCS) say its under security review due to price change, the change they agreed too, this carrys on for 4 days, then its out of security and able to be sent, only checking with OCS they dont know when and i quote 'cause we dont work ing the warehouse', a rather new approach to online retailing to me. I leave it another 2 days and its finally gone out this morning.
Overall the 2nd worst online purchase I've ever made and flippant OCS staff didn't help my impression. Surely its reasonable for any ordering system to include stock control and despatch to give an expected delivery date?
As below - been waiting for pretty much a month now for a couple of items that were all in stock at the given time they were ordered. After two weeks where I checked again they were still in stock, but now there are a few of the items that are not available at given time. I haven´t recieved feedback from mails besides some form mail telling to use webform.

Har lige bestilt et spil der udkom her d. 20 november og de sendte det d. 18. november.. Har stadig ikke modtaget det og det er i dag d. 21. november, sååå pre-orders er de ikke så gode og så kan man ikke komme i kontakt med dem længere medmindre man har postkode i england og deres chat virker ikke.. så jeg synes bestemt de er faldet af på den.
Har haft flere handler fra denne side og de er alle gået over al forventning.
Ligeledes har de været gode til at skrive ud hvis der har været ændringer til et produkt, tids nok til at man kan afbestille hvis man skulle have lyst.
