My purchase arrived quickly however I wasn't too impressed with the packaging. One of the shrubs I ordered was on its side and appeared to have been packed that way. One of the main shoots had also snapped off. The bamboo supporting rods in both shrubs had been bent and partially snapped to get them in the box when surely the whole point of them was to create space and protect the plant? However, for the money paid and looking at them both planted up in pots on my garden I am happy with my purchase.
Have tried twice now to order the garden sink - before Christmas was told item would not be available until February. Last week was told it would not be available until early March. Now we're in March, I hope it arrives soon otherwise I will cancel and buy from elsewhere.
I had held off completing this feedback request, which I received on 17th January, as I had not received my order. For some reason I deviated from my normal supplier when I saw lower prices (particularly for a feeding station stand) at Garden Best Buys. What a mistake. I placed my order on 10th January 2014 and the order only contained basic items such as bird seed, fat balls, nesting pockets and suet blocks. The only other item was the feeding station stand. I have been promised that the order would be despatched at various dates throughout January and February, and having still not received the order, I enquired again today (26th February), only to be told that it's likely to be w/c 10th March 2014. Three months for a basic bird food order seems a joke. I have had to purchase additional bird food elsewhere in the interim and will have to do so again given the March date. As far as I know, the March date could also just be a pipedream. Although no payment has yet been taken, thankfully, there seems little point me persevering with Garden Best Buys. This must be the worst online shopping experience I've ever had.
I didn't proceed with the purchase in the end because the tree I wanted wasn't of good enough quality, apparently. I was disappointed, but I really appreciated the prompt personal response, the information about the tree and why it wasn't available. Thank you.
I live in the Netherlands which is outside the delivery area for Garden Best Buys. Instead of refusing my order (many other online shops are not interested in helping overseas customers) Garden Best Buys have been really helpful, processing the order and then emailing the necessary information to arrange a courier pick up. Prompt and helpful service every time!
My order was accepted even though the company had no stock of the clock i had ordered. I recieved an e-mail informing me of this and asked if i wanted to wait to the middle of february for it or cancel the order. As we speak i am awaiting for the doorbell to ring and my clock arrive but i have the strangest feeling that the clock will never arrive.
I ordered the multipack of Acers and am very impressed with the size of the shrubs and their healthy appearance. I also ordered two packs of the 'pot luck' selection of four border plants and am very pleased with the range I have been sent. The two miniature buddleia shrubs look good too. Can't wait for it to stop raining long enough so I can plant them!
Having placed my order I was advised the item was out of stock and when it was expected to be available, then I had the option to have it placed on back order or cancelled. On this occasion I chose to cancel. No problem.
I placed an order for an "in stock" item and paid via PayPal. Later that day, I had an email that said: "The item you have ordered is currently unavailable from our suppliers" and asking if I wanted to wait until the item came back into stock. I cancelled the order. It is normal for on-line retailers to only take payment when an order is ready for dispatch. It is a wrong to encourage an order by suggesting an item is in stock, taking payment, then trying to source the item from a supplier.
