I would not recommend this seller. If I could award zero stars I would.
Never before have I encountered such poor quality service.
Shed was delivered late, dropped and damaged at delivery. Thereafter a long tedious argument began with Gardeners World.net. Even though they admitted the shed was damaged they steadfastly refused any form of compensation. Barclaycard sided with me and tried unsuccessfully to obtain a refund. This company tried every trick even telling Barclaycard that they had offered compenshttp://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.gardeners-world.net#ation or replacement parts and that i had not responded. The guile of this company is astonishing. Months later I have not received a penny in compensation from them. Do not buy from Gardeners World.net. Please read all the reviews you can find on this company.
1. Delivery slow/non existent. The website said my item would be delivered in 1-7 days. A week later a received a letter saying there were 'problems' and the delivery would be delayed. After numerous phone calls to find out when I might expect my item, phoning back after a week etc, the best they could do was 'maybe in a couple of weeks'.
2. Could not provide details about item. I required the footprint measurements so the arbour could be concreted in. After a lot of emailing, got some measurements but ranged from wildly wrong (legs are 70cm squared) to ridiculous (telling me the footprint size which was actually the overall size, including large overhangs). I don't think they have ever seen this item.
3. WON'T GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. After the above two points, I cancelled the order and the confirmed they would refund me in 7-10 working days. This is a month later and I am still waiting for my money back. This is fradulent.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you expect any kind of customer services.
I ordered an Artemis Arbour from gardener's-world in June. I received 2 emails confirming the order followed by a letter through the post from the actual supplier with the promise of delivery within 4 weeks. When the initial contact suggested I may have to wait longer I started having doubts about the legitimacy of the company. I saw all the 5 star ratings and wondered if it was genuine. You know what it's like with internet shopping sometimes!
Well I needn’t have worried. I phoned Edinburgh and was assured my order was about to be dispatched and I’d get a call from the carrier which I did. Even the carriers were very efficient and phoned me to double check the whereabouts of a message I’d been asked to put on my wheelie bin where the arbour was to be deposited.
So all in all – I’m delighted with your service – oh, and the arbour is great. Everything was included and it was easy to put together.
My order was received in good condition yesterday morning.
I must say, I was impressed with the delivery person, who rang me on Sunday evening to make sure that I was available for the delivery Monday morning.
The actual dove cote looks fantastic and I can't wait to give it to my partner for Xmas.
Delighted to find my two Tumbleweed compost tumblers arrived yesterday - deposited as requested so no pesky trips to courier depots!

This is the first time I have used Gardeners World and I have to say I am extremely impressed. The price for this item seemed the best around and the postage free element is a real bonus.

I have now received 2 broken garden tables (worth £600 each) and am awaiting delivery of a 3rd, which is currently out of stock. I have been told to keep the 2 as 'spares' as they cannot be bothered to pick them up! I must have called the company over 20 times and every time they say that they need to call the warehouse and promise to ring me back, which they never do. I have received 2 call backs! A parasol and base that I originally ordered in November last year finally arrived last week (May - 6 months late!) and despite them having recommended the products being 'ideal' together they do not fit with one another. I am still awaiting a response on how the parasol and base issue will be resolved, but I fear it will be next summer before this is finally resolved! Do not order garden furniture from this company - they admitted to me themselves that their courier is rubbish and they have broken tables lying all over the country requiring collection.
Can't really fault Gardeners World at all. I ordered a set of wicker armchairs for my patio. I was able to select a set of four from the drop-down menu and was also able to customise my desired colour (I opted for Java Honey). Eight days later the set arrived readily assembled and, with help from the courteous delivery driver, carried round to my patio. It looks great and I am sure we will get a lot of use out of it over the summer months.
