I have ordered a garden fairy and asked for shipping costs. After 3 reminders I finally received an answer. Quotation Number: 125766. Made payment via Paypal on January 8th - Transaction ID: 2AX24500TF190331Y as per quotation I received. Today I received an email: I am sorry but I have made an error with the value for the additional delivery charge which I quoted as being £ 35.00 for this order ,It should have been £ 70.00 So I have been asked for the payment that you made to be refunded and the order would then be cancelled , If you did wish to re-order we would have to re-quote you for the extra delivery cost , I do apologise for this mistake and any inconvenience . And a copy of Paypal refund. All together it took 15 days !! And I do not have my fairy. Very unprofessional and without any respect !

I have spoken to the department concerned and unfortunately several errors were made with your order for which I can only apologise and assure you that no disrespect was meant. We do ship a lot of our products to overseas destinations, several of which we do so often that we have a set shipment price agreed with our couriers. My colleague had at first thought that Cyprus was one of these countries but unfortunately it wasn’t, so an individual quote had to be generated. In light of this error your initial payment was refunded so you could consider the new shipping quote without obligation. I totally agree with you – your order was not dealt with correctly and the service you received fell far below the high customer standards we aim to provide.
