There are lots of places to buy wellies on the internet. Having looked at many of them Garden XL had an excellent website with the best range and the best prices. I bought a pair of Aigle boots which arrived swiftly. I'm delighted with my purchase.
Saw the Leisuregrow furniture I purchased in a local garden centre and fell in love with the quality and comfortability. The items would have cost me £950 in that store with no weatherproof covers. I purchased the exact same items from Garden XL with official Leisuregrow weatherproof covers and delivery to my house for £740... What's not to like! I did have a slight delay in the order and the delivery company let garden xl down with their customer service but when I called garden xl to complain they immediately resolved and took ownership for the issue. Can't quite believe how much I saved and the combined customer service I received. Will certainly recommend, thank you.
Ordered what we wanted, paid, delivery 3-4 days, but had email saying lack of stock would be delivered as soon as possible.......and it was!!!!! Good to get email to keep us in the loop!!! Product was better than expected a real bonus!!!
Website has all you need! Broad range of products and easy to compare across different items. I bought a BBQ recently, and Garden XL were the only ones that stated they had it 'In Stock'...so i paid my £300 for this cracking Dancook 1500, only to receive and email a day or two later saying they were out of stock, and it had to be ordered from Denmark. 3 phone calls to chase up and 2 weeks later, the items arrived in box that had clearly been opened, unpacked, and resealed...all items were accounted for, and the BBQ now takes centre stage on our patio. Absolutely delighted with the product, but less so about the lead times. That said, the staff were helpful and my card wasn't charged until the items had shipped...they even expedited the delivery for me, not that it mattered given the lousy British weather of late, but the gesture was noted. I've since ordered a cover for the BBQ....so we shall see if this arrives before the end of summer.

Garden XL offered the Outback BBQ I wanted at a very reasonable price, and with free delivery, so I ordered it online and paid using Pay Pal over a bank holiday weekend.
The paypal transaction was completed, but I did not receive any form of order confirmation from Garden XL, and tried twice to contact them by 'LIVE CHAT' (email!) but received no response. I then tried to phone them and on the third attempt managed finally to speak to someone.
I was reassured that my order had been received, but was informed that the BBQ was out of stock, and would be dispatched as soon as a shipment arrived from China. I then received an email to confirm the order, and the BBQ arrived a week later.
The BBQ itself is OK, but will need some adjustment to go together fully - and the assembly insructions were dire! (although that is not the fault of Garden XL).
Overall, I was rather disappointed by the service provided by Garden XL, but am happy with the price I paid for the item purchased.
We have used an Out-Back barbaque for many years and decided it was time to get a new one. This make of equipment is not cheep but is of very good quality and decided we would go for this make again. Looking on the internet at many suppliers we came across Garden XL. Wefound them very compeditive free delivery what more could you ask. There was a little delay in delivery but we were kept fully informed of the situation. We would fully recomend this company.
Ordered on line outdoor table and chair set because the photos showed all the detail i needed. I received emails informing me of despatch and delivery date. I also received text to confirm delivery and expected time of delivery. Goods arrived well wrapped and packed. Checked goods and all were in good order. All in all i would recomend this company everthing including the price was spot on. Cheers

I ordered 3 items which were all showing as in stock. The day they were due to arrive I got an email telling me none were available and giving me expected dates 3-6 weeks out.
I called Customer Services and was then told that 2 items were actually available and could be despatched but they didn't normally split an order, they had to cancel the order for the last item and then they could ship the first 2. They then raised another order for the remaining item.
They have a good range and potential but it is currently let down by inaccurate stock information and poor process.
I ordered an Outback Hunter 3 barbecue, which arrived very quickly. However, when I opened it, I found the item was damaged, with enamel chipped from the grills and hood, exposing the metal underneath and leaving it susceptible to rust. The large grill was broken right through in one corner. I immediately contacted Garden XL, sending them my photographs of the damage. Some for the replacement parts were sent direct from their suppliers but they, too, arrived in a damaged condition. I contacted Garden XL again and, when it became clear that not all the replacement parts were available, sent me a complete new Barbecue, which is absolutely fine, except from some minor chipping at the back where a screw had been over-tightened. As for the BBQ itself, I can recommend it. It's a great bit of kit at a good price but I do feel there are quality-control issues at the manufacturers' end. However, my experience with Garden XL has been exemplary and it's obvious they take customer service seriously.
Couldn't believe how quickly my boots arrived ! Fantastic price too . Would definately use this company again.
I ordered a chimney barbeque starter at a competitive price. The item arrived in reasonable time (not super fast but with the weather as it has been it's not been needed yet anyway!).
My only real criticism is that the item was packed in a box and sent with no protective packaging used. When I unpacked the chimney it was dented from the rigors of transportation. Whilst I am satisfied that the item will work in its dented form this is something that could have been easily avoided if Garden XL took more care with its packaging.
i ordered my parasol on line, paid for fast delivery, brilliant, really easy - sent i'd clearly been sent something that had clearly been returned by somone else - the box had been repackaged, not a problem. i exitedly put up my parasol to have a look but as i closed it i noticed that the cord to the crank was virtually frayed right through, mm, i was obviously very disappointed but.....ok, not the end of the world. But what was very annoting indeed was: waiting 15 mins to speak to someone on the phone, then being told they would have to call me back as the computer was down, mm, ok. i waited 2 days for someone to call but to no avail. I called them back, another half an hour wait, i then had to spend a further half an hour on the phone explaining that no i couldn't email a photo but i could text one, no came the answer it had to be email this went backward & forward for an age. eventually they agreed i didn't have to email a photo, they'd replace it, hurrah! But no they couldn't collect on a saturday i'd have to take another day off work for the damaged one to be collected, but they could deliver on a saturday if i wanted, i wasn't quite sure what the point of that was because i still had to be at home for it to be collected (not on a saturday). Coudl i ask a neighbour, unfortunately not. Eventually as i was losing the will to live, it became clear i was going to have to take another day off for the collection and delivery scenario to take place. Can you believe my amazement when i was told that i would have to wait in not only for 1 delivery but also for a different collection!! now i really did lose the will to live and folded, if i'd thought of it i would've asked for a refund but by now i was no longer thinking clearly, i completely caved in and agreed to the 2 separate delivery/collections, i didn't really feel i had a choice (most unlike me!). I think the only reason i didn't completely lose it was because the girl on the end of the phone was so nice and clearly working within the confines of a truly ridiculous system. The ending is happy my delivery came, and, guess what, they collected the damaged one at the same time!! But my experience has scarred me, not for life but.....
Found website searching for BBQ's easy to find what I wanted and had a good selection, prices were competitive, item was labelled as In Stock and 2 days delivery which would be 03 May so I made selection and ordered and paid by Debit Card. All OK and happy, however as it didn't arrive when expected I checked the website to Track with the Tracking number given on day of order but it was not recognised, I then Emailed GardenXL and was informed the day after expected delivery that they were out of stock and delivery was going to be a further 7-10 days this would have been the 11 May, it didn't arrive so I emailed again and although the website still said 1 in stock of which I informed them, they apologised and said they were due in the next week. Anyway it has now arrived on 22 May which is 21 Days after order and 19 later than originally expected, this however was the only real disappointment other than missing two of the best weekends of weather we have had this year ideal for BBQ's. ps I would still recommend them for value for money.
my shopping experience with garden xl was excellent apart from the phone call from a member of staff regarding delivery. because she started the call saying the name of the company so quickly you couldn't hear it and then requesting to speak to me by name it appeared to be yet another unsolicited sales call , and then her attitude was very condescending. i would suggest that when your staff call they say the name of the company slowly and then state that the call is regarding a recent order to prevent the experience i had. this way the customer will know straight away that it is not a nuisance call and will not be hostile.
Not too happy ordered my garden furniture on the 8th May and was told it would be with me in 3/5 days waited nobody phoned or got in touch until I phoned15/17 May to find out when the good we're being delivered GardenXL said it was with the delivery company and they would get in touch, but still nothing called again twice on 20/5/13 to be told they would deliver on Wednesday, the delivery had my order since last week but had failed to notify me, sorry that's not acceptable, no call or email to advise??!!
I am still waiting have asked for Friday 25/5/13 so keeping my fingers crossed that my goods will turn up !! Not a lot of faith in GardenXL or the Delivery company Arrow, They should have apologised for the long wait and compensated me with a gift voucher as I had spent over £1200 with them!! Bad customer service, I was thinking of placing another big order with them but not too happy at the moment, one thing you don't do is leave your customer waiting, you always advise them what is happening!
We've been looking for a sturdy garden bench for some time and knew we had found the perfect one on the Garden XL website. It arrived very well packed with very simple instructions to put together. The only slight disappointment was that delivery was delayed beyond the promised one week. I would definitely use them again.
Ordered by phone, and received helpful service. The order was delivered on the day quoted. Would definately reccommend using this company, and will order from them again
