Poor Customer Service

The website promised delivery in 1-2 days which was good as I had arranged for onward transport to Portugal. Even though the website stated the item eas in stock when ordered I then got an email saying it was not in stock and waiting delivery. On telephoning customer services they were not very interested and curt referrring me to their warehouse for further information. I was told that stock was expected that day and an email was sent offering delivery in a further 3 days time. This was past the date for the transport which was leaving for Portugal again telephone calls were made to customer services and I was again asked to ring the warehouse and give them their due they did manage to slot my delivery in a day earlier to meet my deadline although it only arrived at 5.10pm cutting it fine! I did get the item I wanted and in good condition but customer service could be, the customer should not have to ring the warehouse on their behalf or chase the order it should all be handled by them direct and refer back to the customer with a smile not try and get rid of them as soon as possible which is how it seemed..
