I have bought from Gear4music several times now and never had any problems with this company. The products are exactly as described on the site and they have great offers. I always compare them to other shops and even with the shipping costs added to the total, it works out cheaper to buy with Gear4music. I'm a satisfied customer and will continue to buy from Gear4music as long as they keep up these excellent standards.

I would expect a better time frame than 0.7.30 - 21.00 hrs.that Yodel provide. Also they appear to use hired vans so they look far from professional. I use couriers that can guarantee a one hour time slot on the delivery day and they always meet that!
Had an emergency lent bags they never returned so searched for some replacement quality bags. Got lots of quotes. I liked the fact that i could chose delivery price and they stated if in stock with time and day of arrival. Chose their own gear4 music bag set which was at the lowest price and reasonable delivery cost. Other companies I tried seemed reluctant to show deliivery until you ordered. They arrived as stated well packed emailed me with tracking order . Very good quality for half the price of others. Straps were sturdy as was stitching, designed with lots of room to accommodate legs and attachments. Useful side pockets for skins or even a cymbal. Shoulder straps were also supplied. Very pleased will use again.
Whilst browsing generally I found a Belcat v35rg guitar amp, hardly used, for a really good price & could not resist. Ordered it on a Thursday night, chose super saver delivery (five to seven days to wait, hmm). Emails from Gear4music & courier confirmed processing & dispatch the next day & it came Saturday!! - what more can you ask for? Well, a good amp?!? Yes - in perfect condition, exactly as described & now rocking out to some seriously good sounds, rivalling my Marshall at a third of the cost. I have used Gear4music before (some time ago now) & prices & service are always excellent - so highly recommended.
Having ordered a laptop stand from this company, there was initial delay as they had none in stock. when the product was delivered and opened the shelf part was badly marked as was the telescopic tripod legs. The box looked as it may have been opened previously too.

Was looking for a good quality guitar gig bag at sensible cost. Gear4music had a really comprehensive selection on their web page and each item was well described so making a choice was informed. As always when dealing with this company the ordering process was clear, quick & easy and the goods arrived well packed and delivered 'next day'. Very pleased and would recommend Gear4music without hesitation.
Easy to purchase and excellent communication. A star missed because this was a student instrument which needed 'setting up' and it would have been nice to have instructions rather than me having to search the internet to see what I needed to do. Having found lots of posts asking the same question I was glad to see it wasnt just me and so would be a good thing to add in general. Apart from that would definitely buy from them again.
I was extremely impressed with the prompt and customer centred service I got from this site. I chopped and changed my mind about a couple of products, sending one back, ordering another and the cancelled the replacement order also. I also made life difficult by changing the delivery address and collection of the returning item. Each time I changed my mind Gear 4 Music's representative (Hanna Stostad) replied quickly and with a helpful, friendly tone and was not phased at all by the additional work I created for her. The products were delivered promptly and within their SLA.
Guitar case is of very high quality. A deluxe case for the price you'd get a budget one anywhere else. Delivery was delayed, but they refunded my delivery charge when I complained so now very happy!!!
Would recommend they send an e-mail notification if they need to change delivery date. Apart from that, highly recommended.
Bought a Tama Starphonic brass snare off them at the best price on the net by a mile. Drum was 2 days late against original planned delivery but when it came it was excellent. Special thanks to Hanna who made the process as pain free as possible. Only issue was that you have to check your account to see if planned delivery is being maintained but apart from that excellent.
Would recommend to other buyers.
Placed my order on 18 June and still waiting for delivery on 9 July despite numerous phone calls and missed delivery dates that were promised by gear4music. My last call was yesterday when I was told it would be a few weeks before delivery. I have paid for my order in good faith and have been let down badly by gear4music especially as this was purchased as a present for someone. My worst online shopping experience to date. Gave 2 stars as I can't claim malicious intent but total incompetence.
I have bought from this site ever since I was 15, purchasing my first ever mixer of the Behringer Xenyx product line. Since then I purchased my first starter guitar just before my 16th birthday, I have upgraded since then but it was probably the best starter guitar I could have asked for. Delivery is always in good time, and dealt with in a very professional manner. G4M is one of my all time favorites!

I purchased a stage monitor that was advertised as 'almost new', an 'unwanted returned item' and 'only used a couple of times'.
It was delivered the following day; however, in the box, I found a repair note listing several electronic components that had been identified as faulty and replaced, all the accessories were missing and the speaker enclosure was damaged on one corner. This may well have happened in transit as the item was shipped loose in the box with inadequate packaging.
It took them over 24 hours to respond to my complaint despite sending several e-mails. Eventually a collection date was arranged but the courier turned up two days late and, a week down the line, I am still waiting for my money to be refunded.
Having decided I need yet another guitar, which is always a difficult task being left handed I looked over gear4musics web pages, which are well laidout and informative, even for a novice to look at considering purchasing there first guitar.
I Immediately spotted the guitar I wanted, an Ibanez EW20LASE which was dicounted because it had been returned without the box, but what a bargin.
So card in sweating hand I placed my order expecting it to take few days as most companies do, but NO, the next day the parcel delivery man turns up and hands me my purchases. Now considering I ordered it the day before and it was there in my trembling hands the next day I would call that fast, even putting Superman to shame.
The parcel was well packaged and the guitar absolutely beautiful, I am sure I will have many happy years with this one, as with my others, but that's beside the point, this is meant to be a reveiw of service and to be honest I cannot fault that of Gear4Music, from the well presented web site, to secure ordering system, to there faster than a speeding bullet deleiver service. These guys and girls understand Music and Musicians and go out of there way to provide a good service, second to none. So if your unsure, or think you can do better look else where, but for me I know where I will be heading next time to make a purchase. : )
I requested delivery on 21st June before 12 - a service which I paid around £12 for. It says its been dispatched on the website and I have stayed in all morning waiting for it. Its now half 12 and there's no sign of the delivery guy - no phone call, though they have my number. I've taken time off work to do this and I have to go back this afternoon. I will be severely annoyed if I have to take further time off to get it redelivered. Please, please, please do not offer services which I have to pay for which you cannot deliver. In reality, I expect my £12 back just on principle.
I ordered a very small Meinl Cajon Castonet on the 9th June and it arrived on the 20th June, 11 days later. I was under the impression it would be the regular 3 -5 days as almost every other company does but not in this instance.
Having not played a guitar for a while I wanted to get a reasonably priced guitar and selected a round back acoustic /electric guitar from Gear4music. I ordered the guitar on Sunday evening and it arrived on Tuesday morning. Well packaged and of a much higher quality than I expected for the price. Tuned the guitar and checked the octaves. This is where most budget guitars slip up. Tuning held across all octaves and I was also very pleased with the build quality. A little rattle on some notes but nothing that can't be sorted out. I spoke to Jenny at customer services and she was most helpful in answering my questions and called be back instead of having to hold on for the answer. Would recommend them as a company that delivers what is expected.
This was the first time I have used Gear4Music. I ordered a Yamaha guitar which was duly delivered on the date promised. Sadly, the guitar didn't meet my expectations and I had to arrange to send it back. No problem! Customer services arranged for it to be picked up by the courier (on a day that suited me) and two days later my card was credited with the full amount. You can't get fairer than that!
I had been very disappointed by another website and went to Gear4music.com instead. I placed my order and wanted to change the delivery address to my work address. I called the customer services number and from start to finish the entire call took less than 5 minutes, this included changing my address and checking the stock for me, the customer service rep was fantastic, fast and efficient and very friendly. The guitar was delivered the next day at 10am. The guitar is fabulous and it was well packed. I can't fault this website at all. I would, and will be recommending this site to friends. Thank you.
Ordered our drummer's new double pedal, the ordering process was simple and easy to navigate, and the delivery was quick, what more could you ask for? the product was in perfect condition upon arrival and the warranty is a bargain! I would highly recommend this site to anyone!!
8th April - original order, expected delivery 21st April
15th - 29th April - numerous emails detailing the continued delay of product
9th May - No longer able to wait, I revised my order to another product and had delivery confirmed for 11th May.
15th May - Received online invoice which I paid immediately. Still no news of the delayed delivery.
19th May - Phoned G4M to ask where my parcel is, to discover it is not yet dispatched. Estimated delivery now 22nd May.
23rd May - I discover from the online tracking service UK Mail have been unable to deliver my mail and have returned to depot, with no attempt to contact me (card or phone). I phone G4M to make sure UK Mail have my mobile number so they wont have problems delivering. (Despite the fact no other company has had problems delivering to my address).
24th May - After waiting at home all day next to my mobile, I discover from the online tracking that they have been unable to deliver again. Apparently they tried to call, which I seriously doubt.
24th 19:00 - I am now driving to UK Mail depot myself as I cannot wait until the next available delivery slot on the 28th May.
I have never had so many problems as with this order. What I find most unacceptable is that there has been no attempt at any time to offer compensation for what has been incredibly inconvenient series of delays. Having paid £200 for a high-quality product I would have expected much better customer service. The only reason for 2 stars and not 1 is I understand this was not a deliberate failure, but an unfortunate series of problems.
Gear4music have always been excellent to transact with,any issues or whatever are always gladly listened to and rectified if necessary......and no ! i dont have shares in this company.....but they do excel themselves on service and product value :-)

Well, I ordered a Fender yesterday through PayPal
The order however was sent to the wrong delivery address on PayPal so I called them up, the lady helped me sorted it out very fast by cancelling my PayPal and placed another order with my debit card. The whole process took less than 5mins included waiting time, so considered from a technical point of view as a management student, the company did a great job!!
The guitar was delivered by noon, today!!!
The only problem was my PayPal's order still got delivered to the wrong address, so I hope the crew would pick it up ASAP because it might cause some problem with the residence!!!
