Worried!

I purchased tickets for John Mayer for his gig at the 02 on the 20th October, they've arrived but only in the form of printouts on a piece of A4 paper, after seeing other horror stories of people with the same type of ticket not getting in, I'm very concerned! I've paid nearly £200 for the pair, I do not want to turn up to see my favourite musician in the world and be told I can't get in.
GetMeIn, can you please reply and confirm these are genuine tickets and that I'll be allowed entry?!

What a disaster... Do not use!

I booked tickets months in advance and was told that the tickets would be with me at least within 5 days of travelling... Like their website said. Well I waited until that ime and called them up as I still had not received confirmation that they were even on their way. They then said they should be sent the next day... They were but then didn't arrive in time for me to pick them up from the local UPS collection service. A bloody joke to get tickets delivered on a Friday when there is not chance of collecting them until Monday when the concert is on a Sunday. Absolutely useless and I will certainly never use them again and I will ensure that no one I know will ever use them which is a shame when you know lots of studnets who go to concerts... A rip off with the prices too!

A disgusting excuse for a company that just rip people off

I actually decided to sell my tickets on Get Me In thinking that buyers would recognise it as a trusted site. They are a bunch of crooks. They do not tell sellers that will hold onto your money in their own accounts until way after the concert date. I appreciate that they need to offer protection to buyers but they have all of the sellers personal and credit details if they needed to go after someone! I sold genuine tickets months before the event, shipped them in good faith and good time and have been left worrying about a payment that still has not been made to me. I don't know where I will stand if they just decide not to pay me which after reading some of their reviews I would not be suprised at! As a buyer in the past I have been absolutely disgusted at their extortionate booking fees-STAY CLEAR!

Someone stole my ticket

I ordered a ticket in september 2012 for the Eric Clapton Concert in Albert Hall 18 May 2013.
I got the ticket after many troubles.
So, I ordered a flight ticket from Stockholm and a hotel room close to Hyde Park.
Now only the day before the concert I received an email telling someone had stole my ticket virtually.
I was very surprised as I have the ticket and noone has stolen it.
I paid 300 £ for it plus hotel and airticket plus camera 400 £
They say I will get back my cost for the ticket but the price is only 85 £ for the ticket as they also include an own profit cost that isnt for the ticket itself.

So, this was very chocking and sad.

Not to be trusted.

I ordered 2 tickets for Lana Del Rey at the end of February at £140 and received a vast quantity of regular emails confirming that my tickets were on their way and that most promoters didn't dispatch tickets until the week prior to the concert. When I hadn't received anything four days before the event I purchased 3 tickets on ebay for less than half that I'd paid on GetMeIn, as I'd promised the tickets to a friend for her birthday. Fortunate I had used my initiative in this way as I received an email the day before the concert saying that the promoters were unable to supply my tickets at this time. They offered a full refund (which has been received) and credited me half of my original purchase price to use on their website (which I won't be using!).

Reading the other reviews I realise I've been lucky this time, and will not be trusting this company again.

SHAMPOLIC

We ordered 4 tickets for Eric Clapton they day they went on sale. 2 arrived months ago, however with less then a week to go the other 2 hadn't arrived so I called on the Tuesday before the event to chase them up and was promised a call the following day, I didn't receive a call so called again on the Wednesday and was promised a call before 5pm, again the call didn't come! I called again on Thursday to chase only to be told the tickets weren't available! I'm UTTERLY DISGUSTED with Get Me In and they fact I've been let down so near to the event!

DO NOT USE

We bought 4 x tickets for beyonce at £200 each! Only to get to security at the event to find out they were fraud tickets. Turns out around 200 people at the event had the same nproblem. My advice is to buy direct from a trusted official company or don't buy at all. Don't risk it, and don't buy e tickets! The Advice from security at 02 was that get me in are known for this. It's not worth the worry stress and loss of money. I'm disgusted.

Fake tickets!!

We bought 4 tickets to see beyonce in london for over £800. Tickets arrived in form of printed off e tickets which we had doubts about but as getmein are part of ticketmaster we thought we should be ok. Paid money for babysitters and to get to the O2 only to find that our tickets were fraudulent - along with around 200 other people!! O2 said that they had had this problem from getmein many times and advised us never to use them again - which we definitely won't be!! DON'T USE
Now to see if we can get our money back!!

Disorganised! Disappointment!

My tickets where sent out to me in plenty of time (about 6 weeks before the event)
No word from GetMeIn until I was driving down the motorway towards the arena 4 hours before the event started, then I get a phone call saying that my tickets are fraud and I will not be granted access to the arena!
I understand that this is the sellers fault and not directly GetMeIn's HOWEVER! they are a massive company! Owned by ticketmaster! They should have procedures in place so this does not happen! It was unacceptable to be told just a few hours before the event!
I did however have no problems receiving the 150% refund, however the extra 50% didn't even cover the wasted fuel money!
Will NEVER use again! Disorganised and unacceptable!

Great service - NOT!!!!

Bought two tickets to see one direction as an 18th birthday present at the motorpoint arena in cardiff on the 1st of March. We are currently in cardiff and a voicemail was sent to us telling.us that our tickets were cancelled and that a full refund would be put into our account.Yet no money has been repaid. So we are in cardiff having paid hundreds of pounds in transport as we travelled from Cornwall and accomodation all to see one direction and now we can't go. So in total we are around 400 pounds down thanks to 'get me in' tickets. Do not use total scam!!! Ripped off.

Dodgy web site ordered one set of tickets , reset to a different set

Ordered two tickets to beyonce , web site crashed whilst taking my paypal. £600 So resubmitted the same form and Sucess Except the scamming web site "re allocated " new tickets ( much worse ones ) and payment went through , after waiting till Monday as there telephone line Premium rate took me through all the options ant about a £ 5 before I was informed that they didn't work weekends then waited 39 mins to be told that there was a problem with the web site but they could not deal with me I had to email. You guessed it curt reply to email or at all . interested in solving this Just said it was my tough luck. I buy Tickets at least once a month and would advise go to eBay this sight is a sham and they stick a Twenty percent vat and a ten pound payment fee even when using paypal at the dnd of the process even though as a retail company they should incorporate the vat in the price this company is worse than the touts Shame on the ticket company's for advertising them on there sites and lending creadabilaty to such disreputable company. ( I wonder if they are owned by the ticket company ??) all very smelly

Don't use this website

We have paid £99 each for two tickets to see Andrea Bocelli, they only cost £45 each,I have been unable to contact the company as it is automated phone, it is a scam go to ticket master direct as they are much cheaper,this is the first time I have purchased tickets on line I certainly learnt the hard way!

very dissapointed

Just got back from Glasgow ,we went to see lionel ritchie at the secc....very long expensive journey and hotel stay...didnt hear from them till 3.00 pm to inform us that it was cancelled ,have just found out we cannot get a refund and we cant make the resceduled one .Also printed on our tickets was 65 pounds each yet we paid 335.55 for them

Hurry up.

I still haven't received my tickets for ed sheeran and will be going in less than 3 weeks or any email to say that the tickets have been dispatched or even receive I'm getting very worried now as I spent over 120 pounds on them.

Ordered at last minute.....delivered on time. Very happy

Tickets took ages to arrive after countless emails telling me they will be with me in a few days and bombarded with pointless emails of other events.

Stealing via massive booking fees

It looks like they offer cheap prices, but this is not the case at all. Once you get to the checkout screen you'll find a massive booking fee - in my case £26! followed by a postage fee and a card fee.

Essentially it's robbery, if tickets had been available elsewhere I would have purchased them rather than enable these disgusting people to profit from others misfortune.

BROKEN TICKET- NO EXTRANCE &. NO REFUND

We ordered 2 V festival red camping tickets for Highlands park chelmsford, we had them delivered a week before the event, 1 fine and the other damaged therefor an invalid ticket.
We rung the customer service department and had so many problems getting another ticket sent, they claimed this had never happened before and they had no policy in place to resolve this.
We got onto the original seller who getmein was selling on behalf of and arranged to meet to exchange ticket, get me in then interveaned and said told the original seller to not do this.
There final solution 3 days before V is for us to post the broken ticket back to them, (even 1st class could get lost and not arrive next day!) OUR ONLY PROOF, and when they recieve they would send us another, which there is no hope of this coming back within a day and something not going wrong again.
Atm they are not sourcing us another ticket and have caused us numerous problems after spending hundreds of pounds on this weekend.

They have ruined my FIRST fesitval and at this rate have no guarentee of being able to go OR getting our money refunded.

They are a joke, yes people have recieved tickets fine and had a pleasent experiance with them, but in the circumstance something goes wrong, they have NO policy in place to help. All they seem to
care about is your money.


Edited update- THEY HAVE NOW TOLD US THEY CANT REFUND US AND HUNG UP ON US AFTER MY BF BEING PATIENT AND POLITE!!!! RUDE STAFF, & £600+ ON CAMPING EQUIPTMENT, DRINK & TICKETS WAISTED!!!!!!!

I have consulted the managers of the various departments involved and have discovered that arrangements were made for a replacement wristband to be delivered to your partner today by courier. As the original wristband had a faulty pin it was the manager’s decision to have the replacement delivered to our offices first for inspection before passing onto your partner. Unfortunately Mr Plenty was not willing to wait to today and advised that he would do a chargeback with his credit card company for 50% of the costs as he stated that he had the opportunity to purchase his own replacement on Tuesday evening.

We have applied notes on his account to advise our financial team of Mr Plenty’s intentions. In the meantime the replacement secured for him is in our office today and will now expire at the company’s expense. We do sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or anxiety caused to your partner and regret that the precautions put in place to confirm a workable wristband for Mr Plenty did not meet his expectations.

Managed to get amazing tickets at great prices. Easy to use and no issues with delivery of tickets.

coldplay - Sunderland

Were sceptical about seats bought as we were ripped off by a fraudulent firm last year after paying extortionate amounts of money for non existent seats to go see Take That.. We need not have worried as they were coatia and had an mazing time despite the rain. Would definately use again.

AWFUL!!!

Didn't receive my tickets, had to purchase tickets on the day which cost me an extra £40! Would never use them again

I purchased last minute tickets to Madonna Hyde Park from GET ME IN!

Tickets were below face value so i was over the moon!

Delivery was speedy and i had no problems or issues at all

Rip Off!

Misleading. Google (and other search engines) should be accountable. They sell top spot services but there shoiuld be laws so that the advertiser is not misleading.

I'm not a regular ticket buyer so accepted that 2 tickets to see 10cc at the Albert Hall in May were £170. Tickets arrived with face value of £45 each! Googled 10cc Albert Hall and guess what? Tickets available at £45!

Just another scam that our crap government are too weak to do anything about.

Rip-off merchants

All they do is buy tickets so fans can't, then re-sell them at inflated prices. The fact that Ticketmaster of all people have set up a tout agency is appalling. If you don't buy from GetMeIn, this rip-off business will go bust.

Best place online to Buy & Sell music tickets!!!!

I have now used getmein four times - twice to buy and twice to sell. The site is easy to use and if you price the tickets right you can make a little money as a little bonus. I have also found that on the two occasions I have purchased tickets, they have been very last minute and I have found tickets under face value. - once for Take That - (not for me but for my girlfriend and browney points !!!!) and the other time for Maverick Sabre - tickets were half price - he's brilliant live!

I was initally sceptical, but found that they are part of Ticketmaster which pretty much gave me the reassurance I was looking for, I don't think any other company I looked at where you can buy and sell tickets was associated with a reputable online ticket shop.

Would definitely recommend :-)

Ticket touts.

These should be shut down and ticket touting for gigs made illegal like football and you should be able to get refunds on tickets purchased if you cannot attend an event.

Ticket touts buy up all the tickets and sell them for overly inflated prices, preventing the real fans from getting tickets for face value.

Kind of suspicious when your sister site sells out big events instantly but getmein always has them from the moment they go on sale... prime seats included.

Appalling experience - steer clear of this company!

Tickets for Take That booked in December 2010 - concert due Tuesday 7th June. After multiple phone calls on my part Get Me In informed me Monday 6th June that the tickets had been mislaid. Great news the day before the concert is due to take place.

My advice, DO NOT even contemplate using this company.

Got really cheap tickets at last minute. Bit wary before booking but was happy when I saw they were part of ticketmaster. Great night with my husband

Holding money for 10 days after an event...

If i could give this company one star i would however i'm forced to give them this one. I find it shocking that they will only pay out money derived from a sale 10 days after the event has taken place. This fact is hardly made clear when signing up with them and what is worse is that they do not offer any email support. I would not recommend this service to anyone.
