Poor Poor Engraving Service

I ordered an engraved keyring for mothers day... it arrived with some of the letters missing or part missing. They sent out a replacement promptly with the exact same problem! Clearly their quality control is non existent. I had to go through paypal to retrieve my refund. I will not be a returning customer. Shame :(

Extremely poor company, poor service and staff

So for Mother's Day, instead of buying my mum another me to you teddy, I decided I wanted something practical but still special. Hearing about personalised tea spoons, I thought great! She could use it when she stirs her 100 daily cups of coffee.
The item arrived rather quickly, the engraving was slightly off centre but looked lovely. HOWEVER, the spoon was huge. More like a table spoon, so obviously a nice but useless gift. So I complained. I was asked to send a photo which I did, and the reply was that the spoon was the same size as the spoon shown in there photos. Now that is impossible to say. So I sent a photo of the almost ladle they sent me and a regular tea spoon next to a ruler, and was told that their website never stated it would look like that. However, there site does state in both the title and description of the item that is is a personalised vintage 'tea spoon'.
In the end I was told because my item was personalised it couldn't be resold, so I wouldn't be granted a refund for a change of mind. Despite my request for a refund being for a false item. And that if I wanted to peruse this matter further, I should contact a third party! THE CHEEK OF IT. DO NOT USE THIS SHAM OF A WEBSITE

Creased Cards

Ordered two cards - they were nice cards (one came without a forwarding envelope) but due to there being no 'do not bend' on the envelope they were ruined by the postman. I could not send them and so for this reason would now not order cards over the internet as I had to go out and spend more money.

Beware of Topcashback link to this site.

As I knew I was going to buy a product from this site I entered the site from the topcashback link. I completed the purchase which credit my account then a little while later the transaction was rejected. I queried why I had not been credited the cashback and they stated that my click from Topcashback was not the last referrer. If i had used other sites then the transaction would not have registered on my account straight away surely?

This is a con to not pay out cashback on genuine transaction and I certainly would have bought from another site that was offering cashback for the items I purchased. I have been deceived into believing that I would get cashback when in fact they never had any intention on paying any.

I am completely disgusted with them as they did credit the account straight away then took it back.

Thats me Getting Personal! Will Avoid in future.

Personal address book with illegible names of daughter and boyfriend

Bought my daughter and boyfriend their first personalised address book for Christmas for use when moving in together.
It arrived and her name is illegible on cover. However, I gave it to her and then contacted Getting Personal by telephone to complain. I was asked to email photograph of item, which I duly did. No response. I then emailed on 2 further occasions. No response.
Never will I either use them again, nor recommend the company. In fact now I have given them sufficient time to respond, I will make sure I use all available outlets open to me to tell everyone I know of their unacceptably disgusting customer service.

Indescribably poor

I ordered 2 gifts in time for Christmas; neither made it. One was refunded on 31st Dec without notifying me, meaning my Nana went without a Christmas present (I live in Australia) and the other gift is still outstanding. When I enquired about it they told me it was sent on 20th Dec and too bad if it didnt make it....except for the fact that they emailed me on the 10th Jan to say that it was out of stock. So not only do they not send your items, they lie to you too! Still waiting ona refund for this one, its been 5 days since my last email. NEVER EVER USE THIS WEBSITE

Useless

This company is a tin-pot joke... ordered a personalised bracelet on 7th Feb - still waiting for it - i have emailed and rang a few times to be told "We despatched it on the day you ordrered it" - "it's now with royal mail" - 3-5 working days delivery - so there's nothing they can do until 10 days have passed!!!!! Also ordered the personalised cheeseboard on the next=day delivery - order had been placed on hold without me being informed, so i won't be getting the product today - she also said "you ordered it too late for next day delivery anyway - it would have come up on the screen and said that to you!! IT DIDN'T!!! they still took the £5.99 fee from me for the service though!!! been told now that it will arrive tomorrow!!!!! seems to me they just want to take your money!! i can't get my money back on the bracelet until the 10 days have expired!!! I think they think we're all stupid... she was trying to tell me that i was a liar about the warning that i wouldn't get next day deliver!!! truly awful company - can't speak for the quality of the products... haven't even seen mine yet!!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awful

Be very careful when ordering from this website: I had looked at a few different items, put things in my basket and then deleted them before deciding what I wanted. When I finally ordered the one item I wanted 3 items had magically ended up back in my basket and I was charged 3 times. I immediately emailed the company (3 separate emails) telling them I only want one (this was 10pm). I phoned them at 9:30 the next morning to be told I couldn't cancel my order as it went ahead at 7am. The girl then told me I should have phoned at 9am when the phone line opened. No where was I told to do this, and I don't see what difference it would have made if the items were made at 7am! They hadn't been sent yet but she told me she couldn't cancel them from being sent and the best she could offer me was a half price refund. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they have a call back policy so someone would call me back with in 24 hours. I don't see why I should have to pay for 2 items I didn't order and that their website put back in my basket when I had already deleted them. They also need to have a better system to check orders and allow changes. Why enable people to send an email asking a questions about an item you have just ordered when you're not going to look at it for at least 24 hours, but you'll process the order in 8 hours? I'm so upset and angry.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!!

I have ordered a brandy glass on the 2nd of December and have not received it yet! Ordered well in advance since this was a Christmas present. Have emailed several times - no reply. Order status 'processing' has not changed since the order was placed. When rang them up - no apology, simply offered a refund. Absolutely ridiculous worst experience ever. Would never use it again and strongly advise not to use it.

Truly Pathetic!

I ordered (#6506851) a personlised cheese board as a present for my girlfriend on the 12th December at a cost of £35 with the promise of a 48 hour production and then delivery of said item.

So after a week of it not arriving I contacted them via their website was told I should have received the item and they would contact the warehouse to make sure one was posted out to be delivered today (23rd).

After still not receiving it, I contacted them today again via the website and then the phone after no response to inform them that it hadn't arrived to be given a couple of differing stories "oh it's out of stock and we have had warehouse/stock issues" then "oh its been sent and must have been lost in the post", to which I asked for a refund then they did that straight away which makes me think it was never produced or posted in the first place. When I was on the phone it sounded like I could hear several people in their call centre handling calls from disgruntled customers.

I can appreciate its busy at Christmas compared to other times of the year, but I prefer honesty and to not be fobbed off with tales and lies. Don't advertise something you clearly can't DELIVER!

Personally I will never use this company again or recommend them to any anyone I know!!!

Awful Service!

Ordered some personalised chocolate bars for invites & paid for express delivery. Despite spending over £160, they appear to have slapped a first class stamp on them & put them in a post box. No tracking or recoded delivery facility to give me any indication as to where they were and when I could hope to receive them. A week since they were ordered & no sign! I have placed 2 subsequent orders, with different companies, who delivered within 2 postal days, lower value goods but which were considerably larger in size! They were also both trackable if they did 'disappear' in the system.

One very upset daughter who has spent the last day personally contacting everyone on the guest list. When/if the goods arrive, they will be £160 of worthless goods! Chocolate isn't even good enough to warrant the cost!

Was extremely disappointed

I had ordered on my daughters behalf presents for the ushers and also a personalised bottle of champagne for my daughter and husband which I had paid extra for next day delivery. unfortunately they did not arrive til two days later! I realise this may have been a problem with the courier and if that is the case then I suggest you make sure they do deliver next day in future and not 2+ days !!!!

You did order some accessories from Bride and Groom but I dont think they are the mentioned ones as we don't sell personalised bottles of champagne.

Terrible

I ordered engraved cuff links for my husband choosing the next-day delivery option, as it was our anniversary next day. I also emailed them immediately after the order, telling them to include my desk number in the address as it was addressed to my office. The present didn't arrive next day, when I called them, it turned out that I made the order too late that day (3ish) but I haven't seen anything anywhere telling me a deadline for ordering the next-day delivery... And for some reason they chose to ignore my email about the address, all I got was "we can refund you the difference in postage fees". But the worst part was that only a few days later my husband accidentally dropped one of the cufflinks from a not very high table and it broke! Horrible quality for 20 pounds!

Will Never order again

I would not recommend this company at all!
I placed an order for a personalised item to arrive before valentines day... the order was placed on the 6th of Feb and I'm still waiting on the 12th!!! I can't track the order either because I didn't seem to get an order# when the order was placed but the payment has been taken from my bank! So disappointed its unreal! 48 Hour delivery?? I think not!!!

Broken item....NO customer service

My personalised items arrived broken due to terrible packaging.....after emailing the company three times, they failed to respond. I've given up now wasting my time trying to get in touch and wait for a reply. Awful...in fact, NO, customer service.

Rock stars ! Amazing quality !

I ordered some personalized gift items for Christmas and I was blown away by the quality of the work. My message was carved very nicely and the quality of the products was exceptional. Pricing was very good and reasonable and acceptable delivery times even though delivery could have been a bit quicker but I do understand its Christmas peak.
