Christmas came early
I recommend buying a pc from Ginger6.com, the staff on the phone are helpful and knowledgable and assisted me in creating the pc I wanted. Whilst I ended up spending more than I had first planned, I got the machine customised to my needs and also received the pc in a quick time.
I am very please with my new pc which was brought to replace one that broke recently. I can't be without my pc so Ginger 6 really did give me an early Christmas

1st Class service everything i wanted and more
I purchased the G6 Fusion GTX 570i Gaming PC
then decided that i needed to change the Case and so rang customer service and asked for the upgrade spoke to knowledgable chap who new exactly what i wanted and the whole thing was done within 5 min the system came through the post 5 days later just like they said when they gave me the courtesy call to tell when it would be delivered i was kept upto date throughout via email and i will use them again and reccommend them highly

Quality product and company with quality support
Bought a computer and laptop from Ginger 6. The computer had one of those silly computer glitches. Ginger 6 pulled out all the stops to sort the problem out quickly and efficiently.
selling a quality product for a very fair price with good support is a very rare thing these days. I would recommend Ginger 6 to everyone looking for a computer

Pretty impressive performance!!
After the traumatic experience of a kaput motherboard leaving us a computerless family with online xmas shopping deadlines looming, I was under serious pressure to "get it sorted".
I managed to use my phone to do a bit of browsing for a replacement box and saw a couple that seemed a decent price for a not too bad spec. However I decided to carry on down the Google list a bit farther and came across Ginger6.
It all seemed too good to be true in terms of specs and prices, but I was taken in by the reviews so decided to risk it.
I opted for a customised box which ended up a higher spec than the ones I had seen elsewhere but at a lower price. I placed the order on the Saturday and on the next Thursday it was delivered.
I have to say it is a great unit - relatively small, very quiet but FAST!!
Thank you Ginger6 - I am very impressed and will use you again and pass the word on about you.
(And xmas shopping has begun in earnest!!)

Couldn't be happier
I looked at a number of companies before deciding where to buy my new pc from and am delighted that I chose to go with Ginger6.
Before I ordered I had several questions which were answered quickly and informatively - sometimes they advised me against unnecessary upgrades and expense, which is surely the sign of a reliable company.
The pc was built and dispatched within the promised five working days and I was kept informed at all stages of the process.
It does everything I wanted and came in under my budget thanks to the advice I was given by Ginger6, as the headline says I couldn't be happier.

Good value with first class service
I bought it as a second computer for use with my CCTV system. The price was very competitive and Ginger6 kept me informed all the way to delivery, both by email and a phone call to tell me which day I would get my delivery.
I will definitely be recommending them to my friends.

Fast Delivery but a lack of online updates on the order.
I ordered a custom gaming PC for the first time on a Saturday and got it delivered on Tuesday (I did choose next day delivery). So that was quick ! The PC arrived well packaged and works fine but a few Ports at the back of the PC are not really accessible, not a big deal because we are using the other ones. As well, the order updates online are poor, it only says you placed a order and when it is sent. I would have liked to know when it started to be build and so on. I did phone in and no problem to speak to a friendly person. Will order again from them !

Fast and efficient
Very good website, which is easy to use if you're planning to order a customised system. Excellent customer service once the order is put through. I was surprised how quickly the computer was dispatched, and though it's only been a few days, so far everything is running great. Definitely recommended.

Top service - highly recommended
Took the advertised machine and tweaked it a little to suit my needs. Ginger6 were excellent. When components were unavailable they called to let me know and still managed to build the machine in good time.
For goodness sake don't pay High Street prices. Ginger6 will sort you out with a better PC for a fraction of the price!

Excellent advice, very fast delivery , would use again.
I would recommend Ginger 6 highly. They gave some realistic and helpful advice when I called with quite a few queries, and we're very helpful with this not very technical person who sort of knew what she wanted! Their advice was aimed at providing me with the best custom pc for my needs rather than to make the most money for themselves, which I would rate as exceedingly good customer service. Each time I contacted them they answered my call very quickly and gave a really personal approach.
PC was ordered late on a Thursday afternoon and was built to order and delivered first thing the next Tuesday morning, without me paying for any rapid turn around or delivery service. Cost was considerably less than other suppliers for some highly quality components. They had one spec slight problem when putting the PC together and called me to tell me about it and to discuss my preferences- again, excellent customer communications.
Works like a dream, has plenty of scope to upgrade, and will last me years ! I'm a very happy bunny.

First class build and a first class service.
I ordered a custom built gaming PC from Ginger6 after following a recommendation and i cannot say i am disappointed. Ginger 6 has offered a great product, great advice and a great service. I will certainly be recommending them and using them in the future.

Not impressed with thpost-sale customer service.e
Bought a second computer from them as I have had the last one for years so thought they were reliable. Computer was delivered quickly and well packaged but unfortunately the sound card did not work and the computer would also not start at all so had to send it back. I was advised the BIOS had reset itself but no-one could explain why this had happened. One of their staff even suggested I had altered the settings which was laughable as I don't know anything about BIOS and did not appreciate the inference that I had caused the problem. The sound card had presumably come out its socket in transit. They were initially very reluctant for me to send it back but had no choice in the end as the computer clearly was not functioning at all!
Also, when ordering, they didn't have the sound card I wanted in stock which shows they do not update their website very often - it should show the items in stock only. They offered me an alternative sound card but it is not as good as my last sound card (I use the same surround sond system so am well equipped to compare both sound cards) and the software that comes with it is poor, even when I downloaded the latest drivers from their website, the problems with the software remained. I would not have had these problems if I had of obtained the sound card I asked for.
When sending it back, I packaged it as well as I could but, as the polystyrene was breaking as I put it back in the box, I could not package it in its original state. Apparently the computer arrived back to them in a damaged case. I had to pay an additional cost for a new case and so consequently I found the customer service was somewhat lacking - I don't think I should have to be paying extra when I was sending back a faulty product, especially when the damage caused was evidently caused by the courier. I had paid almost £1,000 for the computer which is not particularly cheap and so to be told I would have to be pay extra was disappointing but not untypical of the customer service I had witnessed up until then.
Overall, it would not be fair for me to say "don't buy from them and avoid at all costs" as they did deliver the computer quickly. However, I would say prepare for the computer not to initially work when it arrives (both computers I have bought from them had to be sent back and given what they told me about the way the courier treats the packages, I am not surprised about this) - this is certainly inconvenient and could leave you without having a computer at home at all. Also, if you do have to send it back, make sure it is packaged extremely well to avoid extra costs as this company certainly won't pay for any damage that occurs in transit and neither will the courier.
I found the pre-sales service to be good and a lot better than the after sales service which was poor. Even when they rang up to obtain the extra cost from me after the computer had been returned to me, the person I spoke to was not aware it had been sent back which did not give a good impression of the company i.e. they told me the computer would be delivered back to me soon when it was already set up in my house - they were obviously not briefed by their colleagues to say the computer had been sent back and so the communication between colleagues does not seem to be the best. I would also have expected a follow up call to apologise for the inconvenience and to check everything was now working once the computer had been delivered. They did not even ask this but were simply chasing this extra cost that I had reluctantly agreed to pay.
I queried the problems I was having with the sound card software after the card itself had been fixed but was told by the person on the phone that he had no experience of that sound card and could not help me. He did not suggest any future action from their end and just suggested that I should download the latest sound card drivers. Again, another example of poor service as he clearly was not interested in resolving the issue for me despite taking now over £1,000 of my money! I understand it might not have been his area but he didn't suggest speaking to his colleague or boss about it which is what I would have expected.
I would advise postential customers to look elsewhere and to perhaps shop somewhere close to home if you don't live in the West Midlands area. This company gave me the impression of being amateurish although I do note the other positive reviews that are on this site. Perhaps it is just their customer service that is lacking.
They certainly will not be getting repeat business from myself, my family nor my friends although my confidence in the computer I bought is not high so I expect to have to contact them again soon given that I have a 1 year warranty!

Great card at a great price
The 570 GTX is more than twice as fast as my 450 GTS, also its a card I've looking for years because of its easy clean, not only does the fan flip up but also the plastic cover can be removed for further cleaning.
The LED light is a nice touch to, the card is smaller than other cards which is great for case.
Performance wise it is excellant can't wait for MW3 and Battlefield 3. Many thanks

Speedy and informed customer service, excellent product
Buying this computer was so much less stressful (and cheaper) than it might have been. Ginger6 got straight back to us to question an element of our order and suggest a solution, and then delivered it within 3 working days despite a last minute alteration at our end. Their communications are clear and to-the-point and there's always somebody at the end of the phone who is polite and helpful. The computer itself appears to be excellent and was up and running very straightforwardly. Ginger6 come across as a really efficient and effective organisation: I can only recommend them.

Fantastic
Ordered online, screwed it up a bit (my fault), and called them to sort it out. Call was made about 4.40pm, concluded about 10 minutes later (excellent work!) and still managed to get my order delivered the next afternoon.
System exceeded expectations in both component and build quality. Can't fault them on any level at all.

High Spec Computer from Ginger6
I looked around the various websites (chillblast, overclockers,etc.) for a custom PC (i7,16GB RAM, 750W, HD6850 graphics) and found that I had to make compromises on what I wanted, - until I got to Ginger6. They gave me the choice I needed at a good price and with an excellent feedback rating (their competitors score a lot lower!). The ordering was easy and the sales staff very helpful. I had a minor glitch, but this was solved promptly. They are only a small company, but from my experience very customer focussed and helpful. They deserve their 5 stars and I would recommend them to anyone. Well done Ginger6!

New computer from Ginger6
Very easy to use the website, you can get whatever you want on your computer from basic to everything. Delivery was excellent, arrived on time and had a phone call to say when delivery would take place. I had a query and got the correct response immediately - no call centres in India or anywhere else for that matter, just a friendly British person on the end of the line. All in all, I was extremely pleased with my purchase and would recommend to anyone.

Good Company but could do better
I've used Ginger 6 a few times. First time great, I ordered a moterboard onine & got it two days later.
However, My second order, I wanted some information. I phoned at 9:30am spoke to a guy asking what came in the box (HTPC case)
He took my number & said He would get back to me in 15 mins..
I waited until 3pm then phoned back. told he had been busy (Five & half hours !)
Told he would check now. waited until 4pm. I phoned again. Instead of phoning me (Like stated) He had E-mailed me. This E-mail was in my spam folder so therfore not aware I had the E-mail.
Finally, I was told that if I ordered it now it would be posted out that day..
Due to the time taken to get to me this couldn't be right.
Anyone thinking of using Ginger 6. They are competative on pricing but could do better on People skills

A few delivery hiccups but all sorted in a few days
Ordered a gaming machine for the boyfriend and received a call the next day to let me know the machine case (as seen on the website was not discontinued). Was happy to go ahead with alternative Antec DF-10. A week later, we happily signed for a large package only to be disappointed that it was only the first of two packages to be delivered. After a few phone calls, Ginger6 organised the second package to be delivered the next day. This time, we switched the computer on only to find that we did not have Windows installed. Again, after another phone call, Ginger6 organised for the Windows CD to be dispatched the following day.
We are very pleased with the customer service, competitive pricing but not so pleased with the fact that all packages were not secured in the same delivery!
Other than that, very happy with the machine itself.

5 Star. Price, Quality, & Service
Chose the computer with the spec I required, processor etc and although the site says 2 to 5 days to build and then a 3 to 5 day delivery I received my computer within a week. Excellent product at a very good price. I would recommend this site to anyone wanting a computer for any specific need at the right price.
