I have used 123 in 20-- and had good value fast response.
On this second order almost 35 days have passed with no sign of the glasses. On several occasions over the last 3 weeks, when I have eventually raised a response from the contact number, the agent has said the glasses are being glazed and will be out in one or two days. This response has proved absolutely untrue on every occasion. I am cancelling the order and would strongly advise anyone with an interest in timely delivery and an element of reality in customer service interaction should AVOID.
On 21st of July I ordered glasses from glasses123, since then noting has happened exept they charged full price of glasses from my credit card. I didn't get order confirmation or any answers from "glasess123" to my 3 e-mails. feeling very dissapointed, especially when my father ordered glasses from this site 2 times in the past and everythnig was ok to himl.
Took several emails to get a response on the delivery of my glasses. Also ordered a cleaning spray which I never received. E mailed several times as to the whereabouts of the paid for cleaning spray. Never received a response. Was going to place future orders but will now not bother.

Ordered frames at a very sensible price with highest spec lenses. fantastic value, especially with the initial £10 discount.
However, once my order was placed the only thing that was speedy was confirmation that they didn't have my chosen colour in stock, nor did they have virtually any of the colours advetised in that model so would I accept some rubbish option instead. 7-8 weeks minimum for a chance of having stock again.
My answer was no. It took three emails and an offer to visit the sister store in liverpool to get my refund - which I did receive.
This business 'could' be hugely successful but it's seriously damaging itslef by promising stock levels that it can't deliver on.
In summary I'd say trust the reviews, they don't have stock and shop elsewhere.
Similar story to a lot of the ones on this site about Glasses 123 - general lack of customer care and efficiency that does not warrant one's trust with one's health matters.
I have ordered my prescription glasses on the 4 of November 2012. Glasses took few weeks to arrive, but were delivered correctly and in spec.
The same pair of glasses developed a fault of chipping paint and considering that they were sold with 12 month warranty, I contacted Glasses 123.
THEATER OF SHAMBLES
I was informed that if I send faulty glasses recorded, the repair will typically take 7 days.
After 7 days, I contacted them again and was explained that they meant 7 WORKING DAYS.
3 WEEKS LATER from my last call, I called them again (note, I'm calling!), and was told that the frames were just received from the manufacturers and they will be on their way to me tomorrow. The promise was made that they will confirm the shipment back to me 10 minutes later, but the confirmation never came.
I called (again!) the following day and got the response that the item is being dispatched as we speak, but after me insisting that they personally check and call back, they promised to call back in 10 minutes.
Call back in 10 minutes revealed that my glasses repair was never attempted in the first place - my pair of prescription glasses were sat on their shelf for 5 weeks (as described by their customer service rep!), never went anywhere as they could not find anyone to repair the glasses (Is this what AUTHORIZED dealers do? Search for SOMEONE? How about manufacturer? How about selling originals that come with manufacturers warranty? How about telling me that my eye-ware was being repaired by SOMEONE?), the manufacturer discontinued the line and all they can do is to return the faulty item back to me, which they were planning to do immediately and consult what I would like to do now. The fact that I have been without the only pair of prescription glasses for 5 weeks and will be for another 5 until I sort out the replacement was never recognized in any way, beyond an initial "sorry, but"
I have requested to get the refund immediately (as have no trust that they can handle this), but did suggest that, as they clearly initially wanted to return the faulty item back to me in the beginning as it has no value to them at all (un-repariable and un-returnable item that has my prescription lenses in it!), that I would really appreciate this move, as being 10 weeks without correct prescription is quite distressing in the line of work I do. After consultation with "the manager", the response was that they would be happy to do so, and that they are arranging to refund 50% of the original payment as a gesture of good will!!! As if I have just accepted to somehow be partially at fault here and suggested a compromise agreement!
I've told them that they can stick that type of "good will offer" where the sun don't shine too often and got a full refund few days later, the only reason why they got a two star rating in the end.
[name] - you were my favorite Apprentice, but this is a poor showing, even if allowances for showbiz aspirations of stary-eyed businessman are taken into account. You don't have to be perfect every time, but solid, good old fashioned customer care and taking care of what your people tell your customers and help they provide would go a long way...
... and I know that "you take your customer care very seriously", that you have hundreds of millions of satisfied customers every hour, that you evaluate your customer care standards carefully and on regular basis, that you will look into this, that the person who was responsible already left the business, that you have probably already invested in some additional training...
I spoke to 4 people over the course of this shambles and your issues are systemic, you don't understand the meaning of the customer CARE and even when you have an opportunity to make things a bit more palatable, you don't recognize it as such, but mistake if for an opportunity to minimize your losses.
As I said, poor showing indeed...

I ordered on Saturday 18th May. On Wednesday 22nd May I e-mailed them to ask if I could take part in a 10% discount offer as my glasses hadn't been made or dispatch. I asked if it would require cancelling and reordering. Over a period of 20 days I sent probably 10 follow-up e-mails none of which werer responded to.
I even e-mailed [private data removed] directly about 5 times with the complaint and no response.
The glasses finally arrived on Friday 8th June. I ordered some on the same day from another retailer and they took 3 working days so delivery wasn't great either.
So yes the price was good, the glasses are nice the customer service was non existent.
Where many companies offer next day delivery, Glasses123 accepted my order and took 4 days to tell me they didn't have any stock, and another 6 days to refund my payment after I said I wasn't willing to wait 8-12 weeks(!!) for my order to be fulfilled.
Order a set of Rayban spec's. Made a mistake in the order with wrong frame and so phoned, no problem order was amended without any hassle.
Delivery was as advised within 14 days.
Best price on the net that I could find for my glasses.
Certainly happy to use the glasses123.co.uk again for another set of spec's.
I placed an order for a pair of Oakley prescription glasses which cost under £100 but as they were offering a £10 discount if order was over £100 I ordered a cleaning and screwdriver set from them also but it never arrived with the order. I contacted Glasses123 via there web site then also by telephone as I got no response from web site. I was assured that the missing items would be sent but 2 months later and still nothing. You only really know how good a company is when things go wrong and unfortunately they have failed on this. I have since made several other sunglass and prescription glasses orders form other sellers which may well have been made with glasses123 if not for there after sales service. Overall happy with the glasses purchased but not with the missing items which were never sent.
I have to say after reading some of the negative reviews on here I was slightly apprehensive about ordering my contact lenses from glasses 123 - however with the savings I was going to be making I thought there was no harm in giving them a go and I'm so glad I did - I received both excellent service and value for money and would advise anyone to give this company a go - I will certainly continue using them!!
After ordering a pair glasses a few months back for myself, surprisngly my girlfriend then decided she would like a pair aswell.. On both occassions the glasses arrived quickly and upon asking a few questions on email I received a prompt response. I got stung a few years ago with my glasses arriving about 6 weeks late so credit where its due for these lot. They are worth using and you get what you pay for quickly and at a decent price.
Glasses123 was recommended to me by a friend and the service I was given was fantastic. Staff were polite, knowledgeable and kept me updated regarding my order. My glasses were delivered quickly and are of a very high standard. Will definitely be using them again for my next pair of glasses. THANK YOU!

I was a bit worried about ordering from glasses 123 after reading some of the other reviews. However, I decided to take a risk based on the competitive prices. I ordered a pair of designer sunglasses for my husband for his Birthday. I was worried I may have left it a bit late but was very happy to receive my order within a matter of days. The quality of the glasses was great, exactly what I'd seen in store at my local shopping centre, only much cheaper! I can't fault the service I've received here and would be happy to order from them again.
I ordered prescription glasses from glasses123 recently. I found the customer service to be brilliant and I was kept up to date on my order every step of the way. I received my glasses really quickly and was very impressed with the quality. They were exactly what I wanted for a brilliant price. I'm actually shocked and appalled at some of these reviews, I have been buying both prescription and sunglasses from these for over 5 years and have always had superb customer service, they have always kept me in the loop as to where my order is and it's great value for money, please keep up the good work.

Chose to try this company in spite of terrible reviews because it was such a good deal - more fool me - believe the reviews. Found the glasses I wanted and ordered them, they accepted payment then told me they didn't have the glasses in stock! They tried to palm me off with alternative frames so they could keep the money but when I declined they said my refund would take three to four working days! Why can't they link the website to the stock list for crying out loud - if you can't supply something don't advertise it!!! I'm now going to have to spend double out of my account to go to a descent site while I wait for these idiots to refund me. AVOID.
Ordered glasses last week only to get an email to say they didn't have them in stock, I picked a further ten fames that also weren't in stock. I am now awaiting a refund. Save yourself the trouble and don't even bother with these guys.

I ordered unglazed Oakley's from Glasses123. They were the cheapest but as I was ordering a boxed product they didnt have anything to get wrong! The only "issue" was they seemed to do nothing for a few days. I called and the girl was fairly abrupt but then did go to the trouble of looking at my order and then it arrived a couple of days later. Nothing wrong with a few plus a couple of days, but these were unglazed glasses. Its a question of getting a box of a shelf, putting it in a jiffy bag and putting it in the post! Still... no real problems and I'd use them again.
I purchased a pair of Jaeger frameless glasses from this establishment, got the order about 2 weeks later, about 2 months later one the lenses shattered, even though I purchased the expensive durable lenses. I complained but they said it was not their fault, none the less I was foolish enough to send them in an pay for them to be repaired, yet *another* big mistake, 2 weeks later, I received someone else's used glasses!! I complained sent them back, 2 weeks later after numerous emails/calls got sent that same pair back again!!! I complained again, 2 weeks later after more numerous emails/calls I get sent my glasses, but wrong prescription! Is it rocket science? I complained and got told by owner ([Name]) I'd get a free pair and a refund for all my return costs, 3 X Royal Mail Special Delivery, 3 months later still waiting for the refund, and my free pair of glasses which are no longer in stock, as I got told to chose from a list of glasses that only dame edna would wear at a red nose day!
Needless to say steer clear of them!
I waited over a month for an order of prescription glasses. All e-mails were completely ignored. I managed to get through on the phone and was initially told the frames were in Italy. the next day the frames were being glazed. Then the frames were evidently in the packing department for over a week. Then I was told that the frames had not been received from Italy. This is when i finally ran out of patience and requested a refund. To be fair the refund was issued instantly. I then ordered the same glasses from glassescorp, cheaper and they arrive within a week
