Took a chance with this and it worked out well
I decided to give them a try after becoming disillusioned with the high street shops I have been very happy with the service and glasses and I would recommend them to anyone, I will always buy my glasses this way in future.

Good website, good special offers and a quick service
These people actually do what they claim to do, rare these days! Beware the cheaper frames though - particularly the rimless ones - the results are generally flimsy.

Despite a small problem top notch service and communication
Glasses are glasses and the web is the web, What matters is the way you are treated as a customer Answer EXCELLENTLY. Although computer generated the communication was proactive and when there was a problem it was personally dealt with quickly. No press button XYZ!!.
One minor point. The glasses cases provided were unecessarily bulky for the glasses ordered and awkward to put in jacket pocket. A small point for future reference.

Brilliant glasses! Brilliant, fast service! Brilliant value for money!
I was lucky enough to follow thru on one of Glasses Direct's fab two for one offers! I opted for home trial of my chosen frames and they arrived the next day. I chose my two frames and processed my order online, including my prescription details. The expectation level was set that the glasses would be with me in ten working days. I received updates to tell me that the glasses were in the lab, and then that they were wining their way to me. I actually received glasses in funky (SC-OUT) cases on day six.

Almost glasses by return. Reasonable price and first class service.
I had had a new prescription and needed at least two more pairs of glasses. I telephoned and discussed what I needed. The two new pairs were with me within about 8 or 9 days. I then used the envelope they arrived in to return another pair with a screw missing. These were repaired and returned within another week. Brilliant.

Customer service fantastic
Fast delivery of trial.
Ordered 2 pairs of frames after prescription was sent in I found out frames had gone out of stock. I rang and was sorted within 15 minutes ordering a new pair. I am now in receipt of them they are excellent quality and delivered really quickly. Communication is excellent and do is customer service thank you !

quick,inexpensive & reliable service.
I bought a pair of glasses from Glasses Direct about a year before & was very pleased with them, so I decided to buy a new pair from them. The service was excellent (Optician rang me to confirm what activities I needed to wear the glasses for). The glasses were inexpensive & received within a week of ordering them. First GLASS service and not a catch in SIGHT...

Excellent value and service
I bought these as a low cost back up to my more expensive reading glasses. I thought they'd be cheap and cheerful, and had no expectations about quality. I as wrong....they are cheap, but really good quality and the time from ordering to delivery was amazingly short!

Great service, love the glasses
Glasses direct service worked perfectly for me cos with 2 little ones, there's no time to go to a high street shop to try on glasses, having the choice of a home trial was good for me and pretty straight forward. The final glasses were also of good quality.

Excellent service and products
I ordered both long distance and reading glasses from Glasses Direct after getting my eyes checked and my prescription for a high street optician.
Glasses Direct kept me informed as to where they glasses were in the manufacturing process and when they were dispatched to me.
The glasses themselves are of top-notch quality and the price is excellent.

Great service, Awful frames
The frames were awful, very plastic looking not nice at all,will defo buy from a shop in future so I can see what I'm buying.

Quick, efficient and easy
getting my glasses this way was much easier and cheaper than I'd ever thought it would be and the service every step of the way was quick and professional. I'd certainly use them again, and would suggest that anyone needing new spectacles do the same.

Should try harder
I had no worries about using Glasses Direct having previously had two pairs of glasses and no problems. This time though, even the trial pairs weren't correct and needed re-ordering. Then the glasses I ordered werent quality controlled very well and needed returning twice at my expense as I wasn't prepared for a we havent received them story. I felt this time the service was hurried, two pairs of the same style of glasses and one fell straight of my head..erm, quality control guys, wobbly arms, raised screw attachment, could do better.
Even the final pairs the legs wobble a bit on one side only, next time I may think twice.

Convenient and good customer service
Free trial to choose frames is great - once I made my selection and sent prescription an optician phoned me to check the details. Was very impressed with the service and the glasses arrived in a couple of weeks - a good fit in every way!
