DIFFERENT PAIR OF GLASSES FOR EVERY OUTFIT
I am so glad I had this site referred to me. The Home Trial was brilliant and you can try as many glasses as you like at home, as long as you send them back. The glasses are so inexpensive and high quality it makes you wonder how they can make a profit. I was kept informed every stage of the way and from ordering to receiving was only a few days. You can also send them for refitting if they do not fit, which I have done. I would recommend Glasses Direct to everybody rather than the High Street.

I had my doubts, but it's really a great service...
Glasses by Mailorder - sounds strange but it works well.
Being able to try samples free & with no obligation was great - I showed them to friends & we all agreed.
I'd tried so many shops unsuccessfully looking for frames I liked. The choice on Glasses Direct was excellent , and very stylish - especially for the price. The samples were sent quickly, and the returns process was easy. There was no pressure to buy.
I called several times with questions and they were always knowledgable & helpful. Good to speak to a UK call centre.
I really liked one frame - the cheapest. Excellent value for £25 - with sprung arms - unusual at that price.
Ordering was easy.
Glasses took about the same time to arrive as my last pair from Specsavers.
Price was excellent - although the Varifocals are more expensive than Specsavers - the special offers more than made up for it.

Just the job and saved a few bob
After being ripped off by the usual high street opticians, I decided to try and buy online
I had previously owned and lost a pair of expensive varifocals with titanium frames
My usual High Street Optician despite me telling them that varifocals didn't work for me as the reading pane was too small and driving meant that I needed to tilt my head down in order to see, they said that was down to the quality of the lenses, until I pointed out my last prescription lenses were the most expensive of their range.
The best thing about buying online is no pushy sales person trying to sell you something you don't want. The delivery times aren't bad either mine took just over the 10 days, only wished that since they sent out my order in two parts that they'd send out the clear lenses and frames first

Excellent!
Really easy to use site with quick follow-up as there was a query with my prescription. Very helpful telephone service, easy to speak to and quick turn-around - I ordered on Sunday, phoned on Tuesday (but only because I didn't get a chance on Monday) and my new, lovely, CHEAP glasses arrived on the Friday.
Can't fault Glasses Direct at all.

GREAT EXCELLENT SERVICE AND PRICE PITY ABOUT THE FRAMES
LET ME FIRST SAY I EXPERIENCED BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM GLASSES DIRECT THAN I HAVE GOT IN MANY YEARS FROM HIGH STREET OPTICIANS. THE OPTICAL RESULTS WERE FIRST CLASS, THE LENSES APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN MADE WITH CARE AND THE SERVICE AND PRICE WERE SECOND TO NONE. THE ONLY RESERVATION IS THAT THE FRAMES PAYTON SEEM FLIMSY IN THE EXTREME. HOWEVER FOR WHAT I PAID I CANNOT COMPLAIN.

Excellent Service
This was he first time i'd ever used Glasses Direct on a recommendation. The home trial is a brilliant idea and being the first time i'd ever needed glasses, was really helpful. They arrived really quickly and although on of the pairs had a slightly loose fitting leg they were really good quality.

I was quite sceptical about ordering glasses on-line especially as I have a strong prescription for my left eye, but they are perfect. I ordered 2 pairs, one being sunglasses. I live in France and from order to delivery took 1 week, amazing.

Very fast and efficient.
I was very impressed with Glasses Direct, My husband has used them before and said I should try them, I did, and am extremely pleased with both pairs of glasses (buy one get one free). I was also really impressed with the speed of delivery, I tried 4 pairs of frames out, found one I really liked and sent them back, I posted them one day, ordered my glasses the next day and they came two days later!! thats what I call fast!

Great service yet again.
I've used Glasses Direct for my last few prescriptions and I will continue to use them. The choice of frames is huge and the home trial feature is wonderful. I can try on the glasses, get a number of opinions and even change hairstyles, outfits etc. to see if they will be suitable for every occasion. Such a difference to the pressure sell in high street chains. I can't fault Glasses Direct at all.

Excellent service and products
As a first time user I was slightly sceptical about using an online service to get my glasses. However, the home trials option was great and allowed me to try several frames before picking the most comfortable and good looking frames. In addition the price cant be beat on the high street and the delivery was very prompt.
Overall I had a very good experience and would recommend to others and suggest using the home trial service as it is much easier to check if you like a frame at home with family and friends opinions rather than a rushed decision in front of a mirror in the opticians.

Replacing broken glasses but not breaking the bank and doing it with style.
Had awful accident and not only broke my vertrebrae but also smashed my glasses. My local optician charged me 110 pounds to replace lenses in old glasses..... Quite rude. I was so disgusted I decided to try Glasses Direct. My prescription was complex and I needed pd reading. My optician did not supply this for me, so once again
I had to struggle to get the information. My contact at Glasses Direct was so supportive, my free glasses case arrived to allow me to return an old pair for rmeasurement. Within days, more contact, communication and then the delight oif the delivery. I got two pairs of glasses, great style and fun to wear, fit is perfect and the price was excellent. Just want to encourage anyone out here who is feeling vulnerable to have a go.

Good Service
Ordered 2 pairs in a really good deal.
1 pair looked very different to what I was expecting but I was able to return them really easily and had the replacements back with me in 5 days.
The glasses fit about as well as typical opticians would but at a fraction of the price. It's the second time I've used hem and would do it again.

Fantastic service, great glasses at bargain price
I forgot to add the tint for sunglasses but it was no problem they were soon tinted and I didn't have to pay any additional postage. I have used Glasses Direct for three years now and I just wouldn't buy from anyone else! The seven day trial is brilliant so you can try the glasses out at home, brilliant!

It does what it says on the website ...
Basically I needed some glasses pretty fast because I broke the old ones and drive quite a lot. They had to look acceptable i.e I'm not vain! and above all I didn't want to have to go into town and pay high street prices. So I got a very decent pair for £25 and they arrive a a couple of days. All in all, I'm pretty happy.

You make your choice order over the Internet and then post the frames back. I got my glasses in less than a week after placing my order. Fantastic, definitely recommend them.

Excellent! Fast and efficient with superb customer service!
I ordered my glasses and received them quickly (within 3 or 4 days of placing order). On receipt of the glasses I realised I had inputted my prescription wrong so contacted the customer care team. They were quick to respond and reassure me that they would amend the prescription if I returned the glasses with a copy of the prescription. I did this and within a week I had my glasses returned - perfect lenses.
Only issue is one of the frames has been returned to me in the wrong colour but I really like the different frames so I will be keeping them - so this isn't really an issue for me!
I will definitely recommend and use again next year when I get my next frames!

I have ordered two pairs of glasses and paid 144 pounds for both pairs including thin and light lenses. I M so please with the prompt service and value for money. I have always previously bought specs from an opticians and have paid in the region of 300 pounds per pair so I am very pleased to be able to chose two pair in the comfort of my own home and have exactly what I wanted within four days of placing my order. I made some minor adjustments to the arms to get a snug fit which is really easy to do if you follow their guide online.

Ordered some new glasses based on a recent prescription for computer use - well, in my case, playing the organ. The image on the web page said '+ Free Pair' so I was quite surprised when only one pair arrived. A phone call to a helpful person soon put the matter right and my free, second pair were on their way. I just needed to pay for the coatings, which are not free. I now have two pairs of new glasses for reading the music. Organ playing still rubbish but I can see the notes clearer now.
