On the 4th February I am sill waiting for goods placed in November 2009. Absolutely shocking customer service. I have heard every single excuse you could make up. They have delivered orders incomplete, lost goods, delivered to the wrong address, you name it, they did it. With one order! I have tried to resolve the issue in the appropriate way by phone and e-mail and have got nowhere. Please DO NOT use this company, they are incompetant in every way.

I got the wrong color item of furniture sent which I decided to keep as I did not have time to return it and wait for another. I informed gltc about the mistake and got a cursory apology with no suggestion of making any amends for the inconvenience. Fine if I had spent 20 quid but this thing was over 100 pounds and another 12.50 in shipping. Felt I was shrugged off.
These people are totally unprofessional, I will never buy anything from them again and I suggest customers who care about getting the product they ordered on time, intact and without the need to wait around for a delivery that never comes do the same.
I ordered an item, the delivery time was quoted as 6 weeks.
After 6 weeks and no delivery, I phoned them (0844 number) to be told there was a problem with their supplier. If I chose another colour I would get the item in 3 days. "OK", said I.
10 days later (23/10/09),I received an email saying goods have been dispatched. On 02/11/09 (again 10 days later) I call them to ask why I hadn't received the goods. After much back and forth, they call me on 03/11/09 to tell me the goods have been dispatched the DAY BEFORE!
I will be refusing the delivery.
On reading reviews I was seriously considering not making the purchase. I took the risk and the table and chairs arrived wiwthin two days of the order, although I had been quoted 3-5 working days. The product was of good quality and I managed to put up the flat pack in half an hour. I received follow up e-mails updating me on my order stauts. On this occasion I cannot fault the service. Based on this I would use the company again.
This is the second time I have ordered from GLTC . The first time it took 3 weeks for a posted item to arrive after I have reminded them by E mail 3 times that the item had not been sent .
This time I have been sent a damaged bookcase . To return it to them I have to pay for Parcelforce- which is up to £65 before they will reimburse me for the postage and send another item . Their customer service team arent interested in helping either on the phone or by E mail ( again I have had to E mail a number of times before I got a response )

I have asked time and time again for the catologues to stop. They continue to arrive. It have been over a year now. Everytime I ring I am on hold for ages (paying for the 0844 call) and told that I will be removed from the list. Nothing changes, still they come.
