So-so

The 3p sale was a complete shambles. Firstly the link to the sale did not go live at 12:30pm as promised, then there was error message after error message, throughout the process of picking and ordering a dress. I got to PayPal when I was met by a blank screen, and was not able to further my order. I have not received any confirmation of payment either, so my card details are probably floating around somewhere in cyberspace.

The £5 discount (with a minimum order of £20) is just an insult to us customers who spent hours trying to get onto the site.

It is a real shame that this has had to happen as I have previously ordered from Goddiva, and they provided excellent customer service.

I'd say the most annoying thing about this whole incident is that they have still not posted an apology or explanation.

*UPDATE: Discount is now 50% off the next purchase for customers who logged into Goddiva today. Much better.*

Totally Rubbish

Cannot deliver on their promises, I think it is very misleading and I don't think anyone ahould have to be told to keep refreshing a page and wait almost 3 hours with no communication at all from anyone!

I love Goddiva

Goddiva are a brilliant company, offering amazing and unique fashion at a very affordable price. They constantly offer competitions and promotions where they literally GIVE away their products, and I have been fortunate to be on the receiving end twice. They are what every company SHOULD be!

They may have had a blip with their sale going wrong due to high traffic, but they are fashionistas and dress-makers - not web specialists. It was by no means a con, and I'm sure they will rectify the situation. Don't trust the crazies who have gotten their knickers in a twist and want to cause a revolution due to a lack patience and understanding.

Goddiva are fierce and fabulous and I will continue to give them my business!

Awful

Couldn't even get to the payment page. Gave up after 2 hours.

Disgusting Company!

I tried to buy an item for 2 hours which I believe wasnt even available, bad website server which cant handle many customers and very very poor customer service. Disgusted.

disastrous sale

Totally unprepared for the demand in the advertised 3p sale. Made a lot of girls unhappy and will undoubtedly lose a lot of customers over this unless they rectifiy it somehow.

3p sale resulted in website shut down. Lots of credit card details taken but not many people received a dress...
No communication via phones, website or facebook.

Disgusted!

After advertising a 3p sale of the '25 most popular dresses', Goddiva have failed on all levels. After trying for about an hour just to access the site, and having to refresh every page numerous times, I managed to place an order, enter my bank details for payment, the site is now completely unaccessable! I am continuing to try to contact them throught their site, and by phone with no luck. I am hoping that they will honour my order, as it was made within the stated offer times, but have to get through to them first! They should never have went ahead with this promotion until they were 100% sure they could deal with the high volume of customers it would create. At the very least they should have kept people in the loop through twitter and facebook....really am disgusted!!

Useless Site, Don't Bother!

Badly planned sale, no chance of speaking to them on the phone, ignoring questions over Facebook a nd Twitter. A complete farce, wouldn't trust them on a normal order if they can't even deliver on a 3p order.

A very unpleasant experience, and nothing to show for it!

Logged on to online sale to purchase dress as advertised but website kept crashing. No resolution provided by company. Continued to try to purchase and after refreshing pages of error messages at every stage managed to provide card details and submitted, but no confirmation of order received and not hopeful of receiving goods.

Not a good experience, would not recommend.

Appalling

Spent a good 2 hours trying to buy my dress in their birthday sale only to be kicked off the site numerous times. After eventually getting back in, it wouldn't let me pay for it. If you publicise a sale as much as this, then you have to be prepared for the amount of traffic going to the site! You also need to make sure the link to the sale page works in the first place!

Completely awful-AVOID

Advertised 3p bday sale but didn't activate the link to sale on site, website constantly crashing, it has taken my order, my address and my bank details but.. my order cannot be confirmed? Has taken thousands of bank and paypal details but no one is getting their dresses. Avoid them like the plague!

disgusting

lured onto the site with the 3p sale, appauling way to run a promotion-terrible customer service with no information no matter how many times people queried. they obviously thought the £5 off voucher would keep everyone happy, wouldnt suprise me if they planned this all along, not giving any dresses away at the offer price which was widely advertised, yet giving a money off voucher instead which would earn them a much bigger profit. very clever goddiva, unfortunatly it looks like youve been caught out this time!

Goddiva... Goddamn Brilliant!!

Love this site, brilliant service and I got a 3p dress! My new favourite website :) Thanks Goddiva!!

Promises but doesn't deliver.

Their recent 30 flash sale was a sham. The site crashed. There was a lack of updates from the company. They had extended the sale time but there were many problems. The majority of people couldn't get their hands on a dress even though somehow things were going out-of-stock pretty quickly. Of those who rarely got past the check-out, many were horrified that they were charged full price on their item. What's more...people are suspecting that the extend in sale time was so that purchases could be made after 2pm which by then, they would charge you for delivery. A con in my eyes.

unaceptable

after over an hour of refreshing the page I finally got my dress in the basket, another hour to change my billing address and pay via paypal.... 15 minutes AFTER I clicked confirm for the 2,00oth time (site constantly crashign or saying process did not go through) I finally got confirmation email but I wasn't able to check the price properly before I could confirm.... unacceptable, and no answer from company still. I guess I'll just have to pray they dont decide to charge p&p or full price for the dress.

Poor Customer Service and Communication Skills!

Company advertised a 3p sale for one hour from 12.30. Due to high exposure with publicity the demand for the site was obviously too high for the company to deal with resulting in hundreds if not thousands of unhappy customers, some with dresses in their baskets, some who managed to get to checkout and a lot of others who didnt even get as far as to browse the said dresses!
NO Questions were answered from several hundred website users.
A £5 discount voucher will be issued to all those who 'managed' to log into their accounts...what about those who couldn't get that far?
This is an abomination! A complete fail attempt at a sale to advertise and gain publicity for their upcoming 3rd year in trading.
Will I use Goddiva again? No
Will I recommend Goddiva to anyone? No

avoid!

Very poor website- constantly crashes, pages show up as "page not found", company take payment info and then website goes down, promise a 3p sale, yet website would not work. Total con!

Worst shopping website experience ever

Wasted 2.5 hours of my life trying to buy a dress in a promotion from this website. It kept crashing and crashing and customer services were useless during this time so I along with many others failed to purchase anything. I will never buy from them again.

Offering a Sale the site couldn't handle the attention of

I'm sure there'll be a lot of reviews today over this, offering a 1 hour sale where the site didn't work for the hour. Extending it an hour and the site didn't work during that either and now the "sale" is over with possibly 1 in 100 people getting their dress.

Poor show

U cant moan over 3p!

Very happy, had problems at checkout but come on if 1000's of ppl are trying to buy the same thing the website is gona buckle a little under pressure!
Got through to customer service lady, very helpful and managed to make my order online. Cant wait for my 3p dress :)
