Worst experience ever

I have over the years bought from a bunch of different online golf stores in the UK, but this goes for the worst experience ever.

Bought 4 different items, and 1 of them was the right one as ordered. One item were gloves which they delivered in a different brand - I could live with this but still annoying. The second was a wedge which I had phoned them after the order was placed, to have changed to a different bounce, which they forgot to change. The last one was a wedge which came with a regular shaft and a difference bounce than ordered.

I complained about the one wedge, and only after I repeatedly sent emails I got a reply from them. I could not accept the proposal I was giving where I needed to sent the club back to them, since this would leave me with all the risk, and I had no intention in trusting them. I instead offered them a fair deal where I would buy a new one discounting the shipping cost for the return club, which they said they would pay for anyway. I never heard from them, even though I emailed them a couple of times.

I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Total lack of consumer service, and they seems just to ignore emails on purpose.

Excellent Service No Problems

My first new set of golf clubs. Spent sometime searching around and came up with golf 247. Good product and sent out fairly quickly. Was hoping for the the 2 working day send out but can't complain at 4 working days. Yes would use again.

Totally Lacking in Customer Service

Ordered 3 items in February, one item delivered after 2 weeks ( I had to phone too chase), a note to say the other two items will be sent separately, 3 months further on, and nothing, despite numerous emails sent , phone messages left - I haven't even been contacted. Yet the products still appear on the site as available

Very Friendly and Helped me Out

I have played golf for a good number of years, and only recently started looking on the internet for my gear. The prices at golf247 seem to be the best around. I play with Cobra, and the prices were great, and delivery second to none. Thanks for the help, and i will be back to get more in the near future.

Not Even Going To Bother Checking Elsewhere

After waiting nearly a month for another golf retailer to deliver a Mizuno golf bag, i decided to look elsewhere. Ordered the bag with Golf247 on a Tuesday at around dinner, and it was with me on Wednesday morning. That is some delivery. I even got a text message giving me a time slot for delivery, and they were bang in the middle of that.

I was very impressed, and will make sure all my friends give these a try too.

Excellent online golf retailer

Golf247 offer fantastic service. Very good prices, (watch out for the weekend discount offers), and very quick delivery. Packaging is good, clubs well protected during delivery and a good product range for the top names. Recently ordered an RBZ driver from them. Arrived in 2 days, £25 cheaper than other online retailers and was perfect.

Always my first look when ordering anything off of the net.

Very poor

I ordered a Ping ladies set for my daugther. Good price and delivered quickly. The packaging was appalling. The clubs rattled around in the box - which was split/damaged. No protection for the clubs at all. Two of the clubs have marks/blemishes on the face. One club was shrink wrapped in clear plastic, the others not. (I have been told by 247 that Ping clubs don't come with shrink wrapped heads - but one clearly did!). They have the look and feel of being ex-display. They're for my daughter's birthday so I can't return them without serious disappointment. Never again.

Thanks for your review of our company. When we send out clubs, we make sure that everything goes out in perfect condition. If the box arrived split/damaged, then this could have happened with the courier, and is most probably the reason there is a mark/blemish on the face. We have offered a full refund to the customer.

As per the shrink wrapped heads, Ping do not shrink wrap irons, only hybrid clubs, and if you would like to contact Ping to check this, their contact number is 01427 619 224 and they will advise you of this.

As you can see we think a 2 out of 5 score is a little low, when the clubs were sent on next day delivery, and at a really low price, and if not happy with them, we have offered the full money back.

Will Be Using From Now On

Have been using another online golf company for the last few years, but they have let me down recently. I looked around and Golf247 seem to have some good prices. The ordering was straight forward, and the communications and delivery was faultless. I will be using these guys from now on.

Best Golf Company I Have Used

Hello. I would like to thank the lads over at golf247. I have used quite a few online golf companies in the past, and was only recently i came across Golf247. All can say is very very good. I ordered the Cobra S3 driver on a Tuesday night. The club was delivered to me on Thursday, and had been pretty much crushed by the courier. This quite annoyed me. I rang up Golf247 and on the Friday they swapped the club. You cant beat that for service!!! Mistakes happen, but they got this sorted rapidly, and i will use these guys again.

Nver.Ever. Use these people

I ordered two pairs of shoes with them last Sept to see which would fit best. One pair arrived - the other never did. Several emails and phone calls were made trying to to track down the other shoes. Left messages with someone who always said they'd get someone to phone me back. For a month, no-one EVER did. Finally got to speak to someone who said they'd be lost in the post. It took six weeks to find this out.
I returned the original shoes as they were slightly too large, and am STILL waiting for a refund! NEVER ever order from these guys. Absolute cowboys. Terrible customer service. Doubt if they even stock half what they say they do.

Poor Service

I placed an order 1st January 2012 , card quickly debited but no goods nor an email with any dispatch date , promised by monday 9th , but guess what still nothing and i have had no email with delivery info or anything , i chose to purchase elsewhere and i have contacted them to cancel the order , its takes a day to get an email response so i have also contacted the credit card company since ultimately its them that is out of pocket!

Great sevice, fantastic price

Needed a new bag due to leaking/broken zips. Narrowed the choice down to 4 makes but went for the Cleveland 10" Staff bag in the end.
What a bag! More pockets than I will ever need.

Ordered it on Monday last week and it arrived today. Simply can not fault the service and will certainly be using them again.

Such a shame more companies are not like this.

I placed an order on tuesday evening 27th dec, for some taylormade cb irons 3-pw £379.99 and with a 10% off discount code off their website ended up paying £341.99 which is the cheapest around by far, i coundn't find them any cheaper than £399 anywhere else i then got an email wednesday with a tracking number and they arrived thursday morning. excellant product delivered very quickly. will definantly order again. well done golf247 for your service.

Very bad experience

I ordered a pair of golf shoes size 10 standard width. Available quantity website 24 pcs! I received shoes size 10 1/2 wide version which were of no use to me. I complained and they asked me to return the shoes and they promised me to refund the postage cost. So I did. Few days later I checked the status of the order and I saw that my order was cancelled.
They never sent me the shoes I ordered. They refunded me the cost of the shoes but not the cost for returning the parcel. They say they did but 3 weeks later I still haven't received the refund.
These people can't be trusted. Don't buy from them!

I have just bought a set of Cobra S2 Irons from Golf247 for an unbelievable price. Not only did I receive the clubs 2 days after placing the order but it also contained 12 free Srixon balls.
With this service why shop anwhere elese for your golf equipment.

Like most people I guess, I found Golf247 from an internet search. The site was easy to navigate and the prices as competitive as they get. My Garmin GPS watch arrived next day, exactly as described and extremely well packaged. Good postal tracking information and follow-up emails.

It is definitely worth bookmarking their site.

Found a Ben Sayers golf set on Golf247, cheaper than I found the same set anywhere else, got a 5% discount and a free trolley as well.
It was delivered within the hour of when the tracking email said it would arrive, postage was free and the clubs are great.
Will definitely use again.

Watch out for golf247!

I ordered 4 golfclubs and an umbrella from golf247, after receiving
the goods I noticed that a wrong umbrella was send and that on one of the clubs the had a stiff shaft instead of the ordered regular (so 2 out of 5 items incorrect). Mistakes can be made of course, but since the little S-sticker (for stiff) was removed carefully from the clubhead wrapping (a sticker-shaped hole on the exact spot the R-stickers were on the other clubs was the silent witness for this) , I had a feeling this was done deliberately.
I asked 247 to replace with the right goods, and was told the correct goods would be shipped the same day, requesting me to return the faulty goods. I was not really surprised to never receive anything.

The club was sent out as a mistake. We are not going to send 3 regular shafts and one stiff, and hope that the customer doesnt notice. The club we sent out by mistake was a custom club from Cobra, so does not come with a "S" or "R" sticker on it.

When we were informed of the mistake we asked for the club to be returned, and we would send out the correct one, and pay for the return costs. As yet we are still waiting for the club to be returned.

The customer refuses to return the club, so how can we rectify this?

Ordered from 247 a few times now as the products I've been after have been cheapest around. I had a slight problem where a delivery never arrived and once I contacted customer service the shipment was sent again and arrived at 11am the next day. Apart from that delivery has been great on every occasion, arriving within 3 days every time.
Only have good things to say about the company and will always be the first point of call for my golfing goods.

Never heard of Golf 24/7 before, i only came across it whilst looking for a new set of clubs. I recently purchased a complete set of Ben Sayers M9 clubs/woods. Excellent set of clubs, everything a beginner needs for a great price. Free trolley was an added bonus. So i got a complete set for half the price i was gonna spend.

Last week i ordered a golf set for my dads 60th birthday from Golf247.co.uk. As normal i left it until the last minute, ordering on the 27th July evening when his birthday was the 30th.

I put a note on the order telling the guys there that i could do with it quickly. The set was then delivered on the 29th. I got an email through on the 28th with a tracking number, then another on the 29th saying my parcel would be with me between 12.34pm and 13.34pm. The parcel turned up pretty much bang on 1.00pm.

Well my dad loved the set, (or so he told me, even though he hasn't taken golf up yet) and i can honestly say that it was one of my best buys ever on the internet, both for the price i paid, and the service i got. I wish all of my buys went this well.

Was impressed to say the least! Never heard of golf247 before, and after a debate on the golf course I thought I would give them a try. I ordered a couple of things to try them out, and have since ordered quite a lot.

Prices are the best around, and as for customer service, they couldn't do enough to help.

Very Good Delivery and Customer Service

I have seen a couple of bad reviews regarding golf247, and i feel people only comment when they have a bad service. Well i have had a very good service from Golf247.

I ordered my Cobra irons from Golf247 on Tuesday dinner, after they recommended them to me. I received them Wednesday, and the irons are perfect. From my initial call, to the delivery took around 24 hours. How can you complain with that. I even got a timed delivery.

Cheapest I could find, quick and easy!

Top marks from me. I ordered the Adidas aG Tour Stand Bag 2011 (just out two weeks ago). It was £20 cheaper than anywhere I'd seen. I could check that they actually had it using the Live Stock icon. I ordered on Monday night and DHL tried to deliver it Wed 9am. Picked it up Thursday, sorted. Received texts and emails to update me on the progress of my order as well! If only all internet orders were this easy...

goods not received

I order a golf putter for a Christmas present well in advance of Christmas. I haven't received the putter and despite numerous attempts to contact them for an update or a refund they have failed to reply. Some people may have received good service, some most definitely haven't. Can you be sure you'll be the one to get good service?
