Go Mammoth does a great job with their basketball league. Everything is organized and all the refs are friendly. I haven’t played in ages and wanted to start back again – the leagues were perfect for this! The refs and score keeper are all very professional and the level of play is great which makes every game exciting. Playing in the league is so much fun, and heading to the pubs for discounted drinks with the team after is always great. Fantastic way to meet people and make new friends. Definitely recommend it!
Go Mammoth is an awesome sports club that gives you the opportunity to play some organized basketball in London. The league is social, friendly and also well managed with scoring, referees and standings. It is a much better experience than just some random pick up games outside. I would definitely recommend Go Mammoth basketball to anyone looking to have some fun and shoot some hoops.
A friend of mine introduced me to pilates a few months ago and I was a bit skeptical, as I had never done a social fitness class before and it sounded a bit easy. It wasn’t at all and I am thrilled that she convinced me to join! I’ve already lost a few pounds and feeling much stronger! Everything is well organized and the instructor is fantastic. Overall it has been a great experience!!
AMAZING! Having loads of fun in the boot camps, the members are awesome and I’ve made some good friends already. The instructors do a great job of pushing me but manage to make it bearable by making the exercises fun and most of the time we’re working in pairs or in teams.
Overall I’m really happy and looking forward to trying out the classes in their other parks!
I have never experienced such a terribly organized league or organization in general. The customer support on the website is some of the worst I have ever seen: problems are only fixed after ages, all the customer support tells you are the regular phrases "I apologize for the inconvenience" blabla standard stuff nobody wants to hear. Switching teams last minute, not enabling functions in your profile, etc. All things you can definitely expect when signing up. On top of that it is nothing like they promise, they do not do anything. The only thing the bring are refs and a scoreboard, no bibs, etc. Score keeping is not one of their biggest strengths either, e.g we had a game last season which was very close but according to Go Mammoth we lost without scoring a single basket. (NOT A SINGLE BASKET IN BASKETBALL? COME ON!). The best thing of all? No refunds. You pay a fixed amount expecting a fun basketball league and I'm sure some kids could do a better job planning all this. At least you can be sure that they would be able to read - some team officially consisted of 7 players but guess what? One player miraculously has the same name and phone number buuuuut he has a different email so he must be different person. Makes sense right? The only positive thing I can mention about GO Mammoth are the other participants: the atmosphere is really friendly and people are great. Overall however, stay away. You're better off giving the money to charity...at least you are supporting people that will be able to read someday unlike these guys
Have played five a side and dodgeball through GoMammoth. Both leagues well organised, nice, modern venues, good, friendly referees who keep the games going and good social side. Always a decent pub nearby for a post workout thirst quencher and they often get you deal there too! Would definitely recommend getting involved in any GoMammoth league.
I started playing netball with Go Mammoth for a bit of exercise but have made loads of new friends and really look forward to going each week. We all gather for a nice after match chat over a glass of wine or a meal too. From the very first week, everyone was really friendly and the games are really well organised. I was really surprised at how professional it is, considering I play in a fun league! The courts are floodlit and the refs, who change each week, are really friendly and will even come over at half time to give us tips or have a chat. I can't say a bad word about Go Mammoth, it's brilliant!
I really enjoy playing Social Netball with Go Mammoth! I've met a great group of like-minded people and have so much fun, as well as staying active. If you are considering joining I'd definitely recommend Go Mammoth, as they are well run, organised and of course, friendly and fun!
I just wanted to write you a quick note and let you know that I attended Karla's class in Angel last night and it was a blast! I can honestly say that it was one of the best dance classes I've attended in London. She was very energetic, enthusiastic, and made me want to come back every week. Great workout and lots of fun!
I was new to London when I joined the Mile End netball league as an individual. It is a great way to meet new people, maintain fitness and improve netball ability. Overall I am loving it and would highly recommend it :)
Go Mammoth delivers on promises. Friendly administrative staff, enthusiast trainers, dynamic atmosphere. I started out as a Groupon cheat but liked the organisation so much, I decided to take up a second sport (Zumba my first, boxing the second). A year later, I'm still here! I highly recommend to anyone thinking of taking up serious exercise and who doesn't want to spend boring hours in the gym. Go Mammoth, you rock!
The GoMammoth leagues are awesome! Really well organized and everyone is super friendly. It's so much more fun than going to the gym. Signed up by myself but they put me into a team and now we re-enter as a team every season, we love it :)
I've been doing the boxfit classes for 2 months now and I'm loving it! Each session is an absolute killer but great fun and ive made some close friends in the process. each class is different to the next so it never gets boring and im definately going to keep it up! best thing ive signed up for since moving to london!
I hadn't played Netball since school but wanted a fun way to exercise. Recreational league allowed me to play at my rusty level! Have also tried the Boxfit classes which were good and well organised too. The staff who run Go mammoth are approachable and respond quickly to queries. I've made loads of new friends by joining Go Mammoth so would recommend it to anyone!
