Giving an ever better & varied service
All the things I need from Google seem to be appearing as and when needed. The only downside has been contacts & bookmarks which could do with an overhaul to improve usability but other than this all is good.

A terrify business that knows too much!
There is a dilemma with Google. They have great tools (google search, maps, gmail), but the only reason they can offer these products for "free" is that they aggressively push advertising on us using the cumulative data they get on every day.
I know this because they ruined a birthday surprise for my boyfriend by bombarding him with adverts on our computer for the golf clubs I was getting him. He didn't need to be Columbo to guess what I'd been looking at - but this is the tip of the iceberg!
If ever a company was in a position to "do evil" then Google is it, as the various privacy, anti-competitve and eavesdropping cases demonstrate they can't be trusted. Power ultimately corrupts so we can know where Google is headed.
If you value your privacy and personal information try to use something else - or don't complain in a couple of years when advertisers know your dress size, your cup size and when your time of the month is!

At a touch of a button!
I have a 14 year old son who has not stopped asking questions since he started talking at 10 months old! Google has been a life saver, either to find the answer myself or these days more likely my son will find the answer on his own.

Email without the ads .... bliss
Don't like the way google trys to guess what I'm about to search for. BUT the big but is NO ADS constantly popping up. and definately no ads in the email box

Google is always great.
I have always been impressed with the precision of search with such a high speed out put for general and image searches. The map direction coupled with street view ensures that I reach right place on right time even when my SatNav is playing up.

does it get any better?
Without google, who would you use? no one can compare to the searches that google has., and they have the best layout and is pretty much the standard in search engines.
besides that, they are probably the best chance to take over the chat world / social networking with their google+ applications

Best Search Engine and Has Been for Years
In my opionion Google is the only search engine. i nevr use any other and i am an IT profesional with over a decade of experience.

Best search engine worst for privacy
Best search engine but worst for privacy because they monitor your every move by tagging your IP address for all their services including email.
They also launch new products and stop supporting them after a while.
