From the day I got my beta invitation to Google's G-Mail service I've been a fan. Since then Google has grown from a search engine and some other features to a world wide power house. Whether it's through the Chrome browser or the direct Google search on my Android phone, it has never been easier to get any information I may need. From the novel Google Glasses to Google powered driver-less cars, Google never ceases to amaze. I am very much looking forward to what the future of Google brings as it seems their ideas and resources are inexhaustible. I have worked for big name technology companies in the past, but Google is one I would drop everything for if an opportunity came knocking.
Google has been the leading search engine for a long while. I do not see this changing anytime soon for obvious reasons. Its reliable and works as advertised. Sure there are other options but are they better options? Don't think so.
From their website: "Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful."
Great search engine, and with any tool, the more you know about it, the better the results when using it. Parents should look into Google extensive parental controls, to be sure that adult results are filtered better. There is no way to remove all adult content, but the vast majority can be filtered. Google has many tools, from local listings, drag and drop image searches and provide a variety of services for people and businesses.
I use google for every kind of information I'm looking for. If I'm looking for a new haircut or if I just want to know which movie I'm looking for, it doesn't matter because Google always helps me immediately. To tell the truth, I don't now if I could manage my life without google as I do it right now. :p
I use this every time I need to search for something online. That could be from a song lyric that's stuck in my head to where to find the best restaurant in my neighborhood. The searches are generally fairly quick and bring up the information I need. I find Google's interface clean and simple, which I prefer.
