It had to be Dorset!
Having lived all my life in Dorset or Somerset I was pleased to find a Dorset nursery with exactly what I wanted. My faith in local, I still spend a lot of time in Dorset, was well rewarded with swift despatch of my order. The plants were in the ground within an hour of delivery. The quality of the three vines looks to be of the highest with sudstantial rootstocks and strong growth above. Excellent packing ensured that no damage was done during transit. In fact well done Parcelforce, there was not a mark on the fresh bown paper and not the slightest buckling of the corners. I look forward to watching the vines grow over the summer months. Unusually for me I will follow the enclosed instructions to the letter! If I have any concerns I will contact Groves Nurseries at once, I have every confidence that they will know the answers. Hopefully however that will not be necessary. Thank you.

Weather delay and slow communication
My order got delayed due to poor weather but I had to chase it up. I got a response quickly but then had to chase again. The plants arrived and were well packaged. this is a system that works well if your plant is not subject to bad weather. If the company could improve their communication on delivery status, that would be excellent.

Good service - great plants
It was easy to order and the plants very fine. - Even though they first were checked by customs officers and then delivered at the wrong adress and therefore opened at least a day later than intended. It was the fault of the carrier, not of Groves Nurseries.

good growing with Groves
I was very impressed with the speed with which my order was delivered and the packing was excellent.
I have not yet had chance to plant anything but the plants would appear to be of a good standard.

Good price, fast delivery, well packaged quality plants.
Very pleased with the quality and price. The plants were very well packed and arrived on time.They look very healthy. The only fault I could find is that although the boxes were printed with a "Live Plants" warning this was covered up by the wrapping paper.

Sensational Service!
I ordered: J Joan raspberry canes -a fantastic price.
A Blue Moon rose - I'd been searching for this species for years.
These were ordered Wednesday afternoon and they arrived Friday morning at 8:30. The items were well packed in superb condition and with clear care instructions. I would have no qualms in ordering from Groves Nurseries again. I would certainly recommend them to a friend.

Would definitely buy from again
I am very happy with Groves Nurseries. My plants other items arrived promptly and were very neatly and properly packaged and healthy. Previously, when buying from other online retailers, I've received dried out and squashed plants. My order with Groves Nurseries was packed in a very strong cardboard box, and inside padded with real straw and the soil in the pots was damp, end result was good strong plants ready to go straight into my garden! I would not hesitate to use Groves Nurseries again in the future and would unreservedly recommend them to friends and family.

I highly recommend Groves Nurseries.
Although this is my first encounter with Groves, it is very unlikely to be my last. I ordered bare rooted raspberry plants last Friday night and they were delivered [and planted] the following Tuesday. Excellent quality plants very well packed with a deep plant pot to protect the roots and all important sucker shoots. Now having to wait for the taste test.

A great quality customer service
My order was palced and delivered within 2 days
On opening it though the product was not what had been ordered
I phoned up and was instantly promised the correct product and applogies
True enough it was there when i got home from work the next

Ok so an error to start , but we can all make mistakes, followed by great customer service with a genuine concern for the error

Really happy with the service recieved, quick and reliable in communications
The only issue I found was the packaging the plant came in.
It was really difficult to get in to and although it was a quick transport to get here the plant must of spent a bit of time on its' side as a lot of soil had come out.
Hopefully it should be fine with a bit of tlc.
Really useful to have the care instructions included, really appreciated.

exactly what i wanted real grape vine just like they do in s/africa
this is exactly what i wanted not like the rubbish that are advertised in the catalogues price is good as well plus keeping uptodate on delivery . will be ordering another soon they are grafted so they should do well i had a vine in s/africa 100yrs old.so i have hopes very satisfied recommended.

Write a catchy header to make your review stand out
We required our "Annie" violets for a birthday for Annie, as well as the name it is also the February birthday flower. In view of the horrendous wet weather it was unlikely that any would be ready in time to despatch but you came up trumps and not only us but Annie as well were delighted with the flowers.

Groves Nurseries is a family business based in West Dorset (That's some of us on the right). We in fact have a couple of nurseries, our main nursery and garden centre is in Bridport but we also have a small (but perfectly formed) plant nursery in Beaminster called Little Groves. We have been around since 1866 so we know a thing or two about gardening!
