Enter your registration number to make sure you get the WRONG PART!
I thought that by entering your registration number this mean't that you could order the correct part? ... obviously not.
then when you try to contact them nothing is done...

Fast delivery, bad quality part.
I ordered an ignition switch for my classic vw beetle and the part was faulty so disappointed with the poor quality of the parts you dispatch . Had to get one from vw heritage instead so has put me off using GSF in the future .

A sub standard performance by GSF this time!
To begin with I received the correct parts quickly (oil pressure sensor), but then I placed another order for Brake parts (pads and discs) and was sent the wrong discs!!
After a few emails I was told to send the parts back but i had to pay the costs of postage myself. I did not send the wrong parts out, yet I had to pay for them to be delivered, then returned, then pay for them to be redelivered!!
Not impressed!

I've checked our email correspondence and it was the pads you said that were incorrect, not the discs?

Two purchases, one brilliant the other not so good.
I bought an Audi A4 window winder for my daughter's A4 which arrived at my home the next day - perfect but not essential. I then ordered an A4 headlight for my other daughter to be delivered the next day at her home 400 miles away so it would be there for me to fit a couple of days later. When I arrived - no headlight!! Rang the helpline (no order number as i didn't take it) and they found the order " oh dear it doesn't seem to have been processed" even though I had a e-mail confirming the order but, and this is the important bit, NO e-mail saying it had been shipped. It was rushed out for the next Monday - the day I was leaving so I had a real rush fitting it. It was the wrong light for that particular A4 (2.8 Quattro) as it only had the single bulb unit - but the new glass fitted the old unit and that was all I wanted so by the end I was sorted!!

Disappointing
I made a mistake on my order and realised when I read your order confirmation. I tried to phone but it just kept ringing out so I used the reply service by email which was on the confirmation. The parts have arrived but I never received a reply from you. I now have 2 parts I don't want and had to pay through the nose locally for the ones I needed. I appreciate that the initial error was mine, but that's what good customer service is about. My order was confirmed at 13.14 and I replied at 13.59.

I ordered some Xantia suspension spheres from the Channel islands. The website did indicate that they were still 'processing' for a while, but an e mail was responded to literally straightaway and informed me that they were well on their way... sure enough they arrived the following day.! Product looks good quality, fitted them and they work perfectly. Good value too so I'll definately use them again..!

Quick, easy and fair priced!
I've used gsf a number of times and always found their parts to be great value for money. Their shops are also handy and tend to have everything you need plus a bit of experience behind the counter unlike certain other parts and automotive suppliers. Excellent service!

Really annoying not overly happy on or offline
Made an order, it got cancelled and wasn't informed it was cancelled..
Online help was ok.
Screwed up my plans completely and put me behind schedule, I had to send someone to local branch to get some of the parts I need but they were missing some so I had to change my order, I then left a funeral early to meet that person and the local GSF branch left parts out meaning I had to take 2 hours out of my day to go down and collect the parts.
Also worth noting that their <external link removed> site has different prices for different items, sometimes they are cheaper than the GSF site, other times more expensive so worth checking both sites, for instance GSF sell a £20 master cylinder, <external link removed> sell a £40 and up master cylinder
I would use <external link removed> but their parts are shoddy at best and do no not cover my vehicle.
Also to add, 2 years ago I bought a gearbox mount using their vehicle selection and it returned one mount, 2 years later when I go to fit, it is the wrong mount and they don't list a part for my vehicle on GSF, but <external link removed> list the part I need and it is the same mount that I have and it is wrong.
However they are cheap and I will begrudgingly continue to use them even though they have somewhat annoyed me, and if I get a response I appreciate why it was cancelled but the lack of email was highly annoying, and the missing parts in store.

Missing parts supplied - no messing.
The whole experience of ordering from gsf carparts (discovered on ebay) is worth sharing. The chance to submit car reg no. gives confidence that the right part will be supplied - and if in any doubt, very, very helpful chat opportunity too. Parts (very competitive prices) delivered free - even to my part of the country. That was truly an amazing bonus.

OIL USE GSF AGAIN, QUICK AND EFFICIENT SERVICE SAVING ME A TRIP LOCALLY.
I wanted 5/40 fully synthetic oil with a decent API rating, ordered Monday, the car was fed Wednesday. No commuting cost was incurred and at UK petrol prices, this was the best value.

A very helpful company with keen prices and rapid service
GSF has been a very useful company , able to supply a surprising variety of car parts at reasonable price , The website , although very good does need reviewing and updating . For example , there is a section that recommends 4 spark plugs for a 6 cylinder BMW ! However , a quick email soon sorts out any queries , so far , all the parts I have received have been original top quality , A very happy customer ! Many thanks .

Web pages are false
Won't buy from GPS again. The parts they advertise are not what you get
I bought a timing belt kit. For my audi tt ,the kit I bought clearly showed a water pump with this kit when it arrived no water pump with the kit checked back on there web page before contacting them the item I bought does show a pump with this kit.
Emailed them to be told none of there kits have pumps with them. So why put them on the web site. Then I have now got to buy a pump. But it won't be from GPS

As per our email correspondence, the item ordered was just a timing belt kit as per the description/title of what you ordered.
I'll make a suggestion to review the timing belt kit images to hopefully avoid any further problems like this.

parts missing/don't answer my email
order thermostat with gasket/no gasket arrived ,gfs don't answer my email, had to by a gasket of ebay, just not accepttable,money and time lost!

A major trade supplier constantly got the part wrong. GSF got it right first time.
I waited a day or two and got free postage as well.
