I've been to their shop in Edinburgh a few times and the guys are really friendly and happy to give advice! My son loves the fact he can go in and try out guitars that are way out his price range. Any online ordering has also been great with absolutely no problems! I would 100% recommend Guitar Guitar!
my guitar (A Gretsch Electomatic pro jet) arrived as promised and was playable straight out the box (after tuning of course) mant thanks to guitarguitar for an excellent service. I will definately use them again.
I spoke to a guy called Richard on the phone at Guitarguitar sales. He was extremely helpful and sent me via email everything I needed to purchase my new guitar. Couldn't have asked for anything more from the team!
GuitarGuitar were very accommodating in taking back a guitar I didn't like and quickly replacing it with a better model. They appear to be on the ball and quickly available to answer queries which is more than can be said for some other well known companies. I particularly like the informative website and the way it's laid out. So far any ommisions have been promptly put right.
I'm currently having a problem with a new Roland GR55 which is faulty and so will report back as to how the issue is dealt with. I bought a Telecaster first and then a Roland GR55 which surprise of surprises the GK3 pickup wouldn't fit... So I decided to buy a Stratocaster which I know from past experience the GK3 does fit. However on the day the Strat arrived I set the GR55 up and found it was faulty... so I've Emailed support and hope they sort the problem out for me.
Lots of choice on website and fast delivery. What more can you ask for.
First, the delivery company they've chosen is as dodgy as they get. Got an SMS that they'll deliver, spent whole day waiting and at the end of the day, lo and behold, the tracking page shows I have "refused the item" and that it's on it's way back to sender. No contact info on the delivery company website, no way to call or leave a message.
Anyway, after some anguish, package finally arrived. Although I bought a brand new fender acoustic guitar, the box had big "Gibson" letters all over. Box was clearly quite old and beaten up with loads of tape all over, in places where factory packed box wouldn't have it.
Inside the box was indeed the fender I bought. Just the guitar, none of the accessories or booklets you'd normally expect. Clearly, this was a display item though advertised as new.
This was dodgy from the moment I've parted with my hard earned cash. At least the guitar is ok.
I spoke to the guys in the Edinburgh shop but wasn't ready to make up my mind there and then, there was no pressure and I went away to have a think. I ordered online about a month later and was delighted with the service. As it was it arrived a day later than expected because of inclement weather - no fault of Guitar Guitar. Arrived set up and ready to go - great service. Highly recommended.
No real issues with ordering, delivery etc. But the guitar - which is an expensive Fender Custom Shop job - had obviously been in store for some time and been played a lot by punters. The strings were completely knackered and not just a result of oxidation - clear signs of having been played fairly heavily. That and the fact it was delivered in a tatty Gibson box (not in itself a problem) tended to create the impression that Guitar Guitar maybe isn't that fussed about aftercare once the sale is secure. A set of new strings with the instrument would have been a nice gesture - as I said this guitar cost megbucks and what's a set of d'Addarios at trade? £3??
Other gripe is nothing to do with Guitar Guitar - at least I don't think it is. The case with the guitar is a piece of sh*t. Cheap and nasty, very poorly made (it doesn't even close properly) and definitely not what an original 1960 Strat would have come in. As I said, probably an issue for Fender rather than the retailer.
There you go guys. Honest feedback is more valuable than bull. I'd consider buying from Guitar Guitar again in the future, so I'm not completely hacked off with them. They just need to be a bit more considerate and actually have a look at the guitar before they shove it in the nearest available box and get it out the door!
I visited the store in Glasgow to try out an instrument. Staff very helpful, knowledgable and created a nice atomosphere. Found something that I wanted but sourced the same model with a finish I liked better at a cheaper price at the Edinburgh store. Again excellent service over the phone confirming details about the instrument and how to buy which I did using the online store. All in all as good a buying experience as I could possibly wish for combining different departments of the GuitarGuitar chain.
Great-I couldn't fault this company at all.
Was looking to treat myself and found a used 2001 Taylor 314. Aside from a couple of minor dings, it's near perfect and plays beautifully. Absolutely delighted with every aspect of this transaction.
Great service. I made a mistake on delivery address and guitarguitar accommodated the amendments with no hesitation.
Guitar guitar is what id recommend to anyone musical! There dispatch time was very fast and the tracker for my goods was really spot on i was even told that it was on its way so i didn't have to sit around the house all day wondering what was going on and if it would come. For all your musical bits and bobs get yourself to guitar guitar.
i look no further than guitar guitar for all my equipment needs as they always arrive on time and are great quality
Helpful service, and guitar is great!

From the start of purchase to the delivery I received nothing but prompt first class service. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again. A+++++
My GuitarZoom pedal was an ideal replacement for POD XT Live and I found the site to be easy to use, reasonably priced and the delivery service excellent. I would happily recommend GuitarGuitar to any of my friends.
I knew what to expect from the goods I bought , that's why I bought 'em !!! But the delivery was excellent. Texts to tell me where the driver was and what time he'd arrive so I didn't have to wait in all day for him... and guess what ....... he arrived within 10 minutes (earlier) of the time he said ....
Excellent prices and fast delivery. One of the best online shops I've used.
Great service. Fast Delivery. Would definitely order again.
quick ,delivery on time ,,, great service ,,,i'm a happy larry!!!
Excellent instruments, excellent staff, excellent outcome.
After I placed my order i was dispatched on time, with texts keeping me up to date on the progress of the delivery. Which is more than I can say of the mail room in my office, who didn't bother telling me it had been delivered.
I have nothing but good things to say. Also, I defy you to walk into the shop and not geek out for a moment at the wall to ceiling guitars.
Hi im very impressed with your service you have restored my attitude in customer service,i rang up about the items i bought inquiring if wernt suitable could i return them.
The guy i spoke to actually set up the goods and sent me an e-mail showing me what they looked like. The delivery was spot on and my grandson who i bought them for is
over the moon with them,i can not thank you enough and would defiently buy from you again.
Kind Regards
Yvonne.
Ordered a new Marshall amp one day, arrived the next. That's the kind of service I like!
Plus it was the cheapest out there, i'll definitely be using them again,
Was looking on GuitarGuitar website, found used bass guitar that I liked the look of. Phoned them, spoke to sales guy who was very knowledgeable very helpful and very honest about guitar condition. Placed order online, guitar arrived a few days later, couldn't ask for better service, it was excellent. Now bought 3 guitars from them which speaks for itself. Need a GuitarGuitar in Aberdeen.
I was particularly impressed with the delivery service - very user friendly and reliable.
was away for a few days mum signed for it on opening box thought i ordered wrong guitar as it came in different box?. as i unwrapped it i saw it was the right one though. looking at it more it had a chip out of neck dropped i think, a small chrome allen screw missing from the bridge end and instructions for a yamaha guitar . dont think this was brand new, but like the sound so much i cant be bothered to chase a replacement life's to short wont ever use guitarguitar again will stick with thomann uk always get what you ask for new an boxed, with them . 1 star as i can't give o .
No probs whatsoever ..excellent and very happy....
I bought the Gibson Les Paul Traditional 2013 guitar in Chicago Blue. The price was three hundred pounds less that other stores I looked at. The guitar was delivered free of charge, and promptly. All in all fantastic customer service. Thank you so much.
I ordered a guitar late at night. Not only was the guitar delivered within 48 hours, I received texts in advance updating me on the progress and advising the time of delivery, allowing me to plan around this. Just a brilliant, prompt service.
Not the cheapest, but staff very helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them. Advert/description could have been clearer, assumed a case would have been included, place of manufacture could also have been clearer.
can't remember what I bought...was it a strap? If it was its the most bloody marvellous strap I've ever had...and your service was, if I remember rightly, bloody marvellous too!
Ordered one day and delivered the nex,t within the times stated, no time lost or wasted.
The guitar itself is a preowned Fender Telecaster in absolutely great condition and now set up to my liking. It sounds so good it matches the service and the value for money.
A top of the league service and I will be buying from Guiterguitar again in the not too distant future (don't tell the missus.).
We were looking for a piano/keyboard for the kids to start lessons and maybe for their guitar playing dad to be able to use a bit for recording. The Korg we bought was the best price we could see anywhere and although it would be unlikely to fool Rick Wakeman into believing he was playing a Steinway, it sounds pretty good and has a decent enough action and feel for the price. The website made it easy to order, it arrived quickly and came packed well enough to survive either a fair missile blast or worse, one of the POs clumsiest handlers. Also, I called GG up before i ordered as I was having a bit of a stool trauma (piano stool that is), in that they seemed to go from cheap and flimsy looking to vastly expensive and finely enough crafted to support the buttocks of said Mr Wakeman without there being anything financially sensible in-between. The guy I spoke to ended up finding a compromise quickly and doing us a great and sensible deal one on - so we now have a perfect package for the kids starting off and something musically very usable for recording and gigging if the need ever arises. Not that the world is ready for that yet...
