What a load of rubbish. I still have not received my shower unit 22 days after ordering it. I sent email to which they did not have the courtesy to reply. If it doesn't arrive by 2nd January, I am cancelling my payment.

Ordered pump and fittings. Received them 1 week later. well packed. My only problem is that the items could have been delivered to the Island by Post Office parcels at probably the same cost.
No other problems and service excellent.
Ordered a Mira shower pump. E mail to confirm order, e mail to confirm dispatch. Arrived after the weekend - perhaps I should/could have checked for Saturday delivery. Well packaged. Straight forward transaction at a very good price thanks to Google. On this, my first experience with The Plumbing Shop, I'll definitely look it up for future plumbing purchases and would recommend the firm.
I ordered 2 Mira showers from this company on the 13th November. 4 weeks later after many telephone calls we have now received the second shower but even that was delivered to the wrong address and not on the day we asked for. Their excuse for the delay was that the company that supplied the showers had sent the wrong model twice!
Being a commercial plumbing company we are always looking for the keenest prices to pass onto our clients. Found a set of taps our client stipulated at a good price on this website. When ordered it confirmed 1-2 days delivery, perfect. After 4 days i contacted them to find out when i may receive the taps" Sorry sir we havent received them ourselves yet, we have spoken to our supplier who said we will have them in 2 days so you will have them on Friday" I enquired as to why i wasnt contacted to say they were going to be delayed? They apologised and had no reason. So Friday came still no taps! Rang Friday afternoon. "Sorry sir still havent recived them ourselves, they are due in on Monday" Again asked as to why i had no contact, again apology but no reason. They assured me that they would contact me on Monday without fail to let me know if they have arrived at there depot. Can you guess what happened next??? Monday lunchtime came, no phonecall!! I called them at 1pm, they said sorry, taps are now not due in until mid December!!!! Mid December!!! How can you get it so wrong? Cancelled order, never going near this company again!!! Yes they were the cheapest on the internet, but they could be giving them away for free but no use if they dont turn up!!!
A good all round service with good products. A tracking service or better info on delivery times would be good
The old HIE used to get my order to me the next day or definately the day after. The orders now seen to take a week or just over. When I order something it is because I need it asap. The prices are still veery competative though.
I was expecting this to be dispatched the next day. It had not arrived several days later and when I phoned it was not possible to give me an update on progress as their computer was "down". Instead of promising to call me back when the information was available I was told to ring again. The pump turned up two days afetr my call
I ordered on line and website advised product was to be delivered in 1/2 days. When item hadn't arrived in three I contacted to chase up and was advised that it had to be ordered and it may be available in a further 5/6 days. This was no good to me I had arranged for it to be fitted days before that. It's normal practise that if a company is unable to fulfil the declared timescale they should communicate with customer to determine how they would like to proceed - not just to take the money and assume that's ok?? When I became aware of the delay I asked for the order to be cancelled and my money to be refunded immediately - no response to 2 e-mails so I called and the staff member (although polite) advised that they hadn't actioned the e-mails due to tech problems and product was already on its way. I therefore had the inconvenience of having to return the item - as they then advised they would refund my money. I asked that they confirm this when it had been done ...... still waiting! If you have time to get the runaround ..... feel free to use this company!
I placed a order on Sunday expecting a delivery on the Tues as it said 1 - 2 days delivery. By the Friday evening it had still not appeared so when I contacted them, they were really unhelpful, said they had stock issues and the computer systems were down and suggested to call back the following week. I purchased from elsewhere and the product from them has still not even turned up when is now the following sat, (2 weeks) even though they have taken my money. I strongly recommend you do not use them as the seem to be a bunch of incompetent scammers. If the product does not appear in a few days I will be requesting a refund. So to recap, stay away, do not use them, unhelpful, no stock, the worst company I have dealt with for years. I buy a lot of products on-line but never again from this crock of crap.
These days, when I order something on the web I expect prompt service and to be kept informed of likely dispatch and delivery dates. All I got was e-mail confirmation of the order. After 5 days I had to chase them, only to be informed their computer systems were down and my order could not be checked. I had to ring them again to chase two days later, to be told my order was awaiting delivery from their supplier but expected shortly. I asked them to ring me to confirm its arrival (or not) the following day but no phone call came by the agreed time and yet again I had to chase - to be told.I had ring back later to confirm dispatch to me. Poor customer service in this day and age.
Having searched the web for Saniflo products, I came across this website. They offer a great range of products at extremely competitive prices (lots of other retailers couldn't get close to the prices offered here), so I ordered with confidence. My item turned up 2 days later, just as promised - even before the plumber!
I ordered a Mira 1.5bar twin end pump. It was competitively priced and delivered by FedEx in a few days. Very happy with product and service
I ordered two Franke peak sinks from The Plumbing Shop. The prices were the cheapest on the internet and ordering was easy. My only niggle was that delivery was said to be 1-3 days and I had to make an enquiry after 3 days as to when the delivery would occur (so maybe an update on anticipated delivery could be sent to customers). That said, the items arrived in perfect condition 2 days thereafter and Harley was extremely helpful in communicating the times of delivery. I would thoroughly recommend.
I have used this company for years but lately they seem to have taken there eye off the ball.
The new website is harder no navigate than the old one. I also ordered a shower that would normally arive in 2-3 days took over a week i was not at any point made aware of this delay until i called to ask what had happened.
I had ro pass this delay on to my customer which made me look bad.
I expect a bit more from a company that i regually spend alot of money with!
As a plumbing and heating engineer I need a reliable supplier with good prices. For many orders over several years, HIE have always satisfied, with good support and reliable and quick deliveries. There was a short period of 6 months where the prices seemed to rise noticeably above competitors, but this seems to have dropped back to a satisfying norm. I have no reservations in using them again, although I won't necessarily assume they are the cheapest.
Awful communication. Ordered some competitively priced shower parts showing 1-2 day delivery; received a swift acknowledgement of order. After a week of waiting, I chased with an email that was not responded to. After 2 weeks I chased by phone, to be told (politely) that the item would be another 7 days before they received it from their suppliers (so of course I cancelled the order). This is a joke. Customers should be kept informed of any delays as any serious online business would do. Item is still showing 1-2 day delivery on their website. Will not be using again and certainly will not be recommending.
This item was ordered and we paid for fedex delivery. We have been without our shower for a week now and the part still has not arrived! I sent e-mail today chasing order and still do not have it. Cannot believe you want feedback when you have not supplied goods.
Ordered on Monday expecting delivery within 2 days. Phoned on Wednesday am to chase only to be told that their suppliers had yet to deliver to them. Wednesday pm told that the order would be with them Thursday and delivered to me Friday. Waited around all day but nothing arrived. Phoned Friday pm only to be told that it had still not arrived with them but should be with them following Monday. Am now awaiting delivery on Tuesday. Fingers crossed!
I know that things can be delayed but please keep your customers informed of what's happening at each stage.
I recently ordered a Saniplus from you and was told it would be with me in 1-2 days. When it hadn't arrived after 3 days I called and was told that you did not in fact have any in stock and someone forgot to send me an email with that information. It cost me a wasted day as my plumber had been booked and he charged me cancellation.
I got straight on the phone to another company who had the same product delivered within 24hrs for only a few pound more. Needless to say I won't be using you again.
Finding the brand of water filter I needed was easy enough as there were lots of sites that sold them. Some offered cheaper copies but I wanted to play safe and get the original model and H-I-E.co.uk had them in stock at a reasonable price. The order was delivered two days after the order was placed so top marks there. One very satisfied customer.
Ordered a shower part online, 2 to 3 day delivery promise. Recieved conformation e mail of my order.
3 days later, part had not arrived, rang them, told part not in stock, will have to ring supplier, may be able to get it in about a week !
What a joke i told them to forget it. Guy on phone said the website details were not always accurate ! Pathetic.
