I have twice now tried using Halfords online Reserve and Collect Service where supposedly you are meant to be able to collect goods from a store an hour later. Despite providing both my home and mobile telephone numbers, both times I have not received any notification that my purchase was ready to collect. I appreciate that sometimes the store may go "out of stock"... but you'd think they'd have the courtesy to let you know. Even just a text would be something... but both times - nothing!
Further to this, we bought 2 mountain bikes back in April 2013... the first ride, hubby's seat fell off! Good job we'd bought tools and taken out with us, otherwise it would have been a long walk home!
Certainly won't be shopping with them again anytime soon.
