Mobile phone arrived in Australia three days after I ordered. Their excellent automatic notification system kept me fully informed at each stage of their processing. The deal they offered was the cheapest I could find anywhere in the world.
This is an efficient business run by people who know what they are doing.
I ordered a phone two weeks ago and have had nothing but lies and incompetence from Handtec.co.uk.
They have promised on numerous occasions that it was en route, however it has still not arrived.
It was marked as being in stock for next day delivery, then I waited several days and heard nothing. I contacted them and they said it had been sent, but it clearly had not.
Then they said it was sent to the wrong address and didn't have another phone to replace it. Meanwhile the web page for the product still says the phone is in stock.
What a bunch of liars. Do not waste your time with these crooks.

Just ordered and received a smartphone, the price was better in comparison to other UK sites. There are some other sites around that offered a better price BUT they were pretend to be UK based but in fact are Singapore or China!
I paid via PayPal, as since a few years ago I avoid to use my cc directly with other sites, so I was sure that any possible dispute will go via PayPal.
This shop neglects to its customers. I'm done shopping at this store many times. Here are the main difficulties that I faced:
- The shop does not keep track of the availability of goods. The site can be stated "in stock", and after payment of the order comes to e-mail with the message that this product is not available. After 14 days of waiting order is canceled, because the product did not appear out of stock. My order number 1110714
- Can not be true is specified the delivery charge. After the purchase the shop sent me a letter "to pay for sending my order 116.7 pounds." I tried to find out the reason (LiveChat with [name removed]), but the seller without my consent just canceled my order. My order 1178450, payment by April 10, 2012.
- Shop in any case did not go to a meeting and offered to solve the problem arose on his side. Each case is an answer - "sorry, we are very sorry. We can cancel your order."
After the last order I refuse the services of the store.
Not sure whether they sell second-hand good as 'new', but I ordered a phone and it came with just the phone and charger in a box - no instruction manual or anything. They really screwed up my delivery by failing ensure that the correct instructions were on the parcel. This caused me immense inconvenience and ruined a weekend (it was a birthday gift for a friend). I paid a large amount for next day delivery for the privilege.
When I complained, they were rude and sarcasitc and did not deal with my complaint in a professional manner. They also absoutely refused to answer my question about whether the phone should have an instruction manual with it. They did not refund any postage either. Incredibly incompetent people, and zero customer service.
The way that a company treats their customers is one of the best indicators of whether they are worth dealing with. It is fine to have cheap prices, but I would rather pay more to have the confidence that any problems will be dealt with satisfactorily. I would advise anyone against using this company, as they are only interested in the sale, absolutely no regard for their customers, or take any responsiblity in the event of a problem.
Personally it was a pleasure to buy from handtec. Ordered my phone, answered some security questions and had it in my hands all within a working week and that was from the UK to Australia. After sales support was quick and helpful. Like all online stores it really depends on the individual you have contact with and in my case that person was very professional. Would definitely buy from again in the future.
Place my order for a Nokia N9 on Wednesday (around 3pm)
Several emails to confirm payment, acknowledgement and further instructions.
Parcel dispatched same day and arrived at 10.30am on Thursday. Several emails from the courier to confirm delivery and even given a one hour time slot.
Phone was well packed/secure and obviously, brand new

Do not bother, take your money and are not responsible for delivery of goods to the buyer.
I paid for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 November 2011, the money shot 423.89 GBP, and the order I have not even received 06/02/2012. All the questions asked the seller to wait a few days or does not respond at all. And so it has lasted for 70 days.
I will contact my bank to return money to fraudsters, and took to the court.
Avoid these vendors if you do not want to lose their money.

Perfect service - ordered phone (Sony Live Walkman) Friday, it was delivered Monday (via DPD who emailed the delivery time/tracker), phone had problems freezing, got returns number authorised within 24 hours, and had prompt refund within a couple of days. Can't speak highly enough of Handtec.
Ordered my phone online. Got an email telling me when the phone would be delivered and I could track it. Tracking told me to expect it in a 1 hour time slot. Phone arrived bang on at the beginning of the time slot (via DPD) Very good service from this company shall use again if like this time the price is good.
I have bought 2 diffrenet Garmin GPS devices from Handtec in that past year (62st and Dakota 10). I have found them to be very professional and have given first class service. On each of the purchases I chose the cheapest P&P package as I was in no particular rush to have them delivered. They were delivered within 48 hrs from ordering on-line. I have recommended the company to friends who have also purchased GPS's from Handtec without any issuses and I will shortly be ordering a new Oregon from them. Their prices are very competative and I am very happy with the service I hace had from them in the past.
I spoke to their sales advisor who went and supposedly got the item I wanted from the warehouse and confirmed it was the right item and that it was in stock! Great I thought so placed my order on the 9th December expecting it to be dispatched within a couple of days . . . 20th December I finally get an email to say that the item has been dispatched by First Class post.
This is a Christmas Gift so if I am out when the postman calls then there is going to be no way to get it from the delivery office by Friday when I need it as I travel to family on Saturday morning long before the delivery office opens.
Bought headset, when it arrived, compltely different to listing. No box and accesories missing.
Rang straightaway and told to return item...at my expense! was informed as a gesture of goodwill, company would send out an upgrade, next day delivery, upon receipt of the return.
Heard nothing. When I rang them they denied ever having the conversation with me (despite me giving them the operatives name). Advised upgrade would be at my expense. Asked for refund, which I understand will be minus all postal charges),...still waiting.
My advice, use a company who is more reputable and honest, it is worth spending a little more for proffesionalism and honesty.
Handtec were the cheapest by quite some margin for a Garmin GSC-10 cadence and speed sensor add-on for the Edge range. Despite seeing the negative reviews on here (there's another site with much more positive outlook) I went ahead with the order at about 3pm.
The item turned up the very next day via 1st class recorded post (for 99p delivery). It's the latest version of the GSC-10 and is brand new.
i order a garmin genuine charger but received a non branded charger which is not real, i pay £12.99 for charger so its a rip off as i never got what i paid for
I ordered a nuvi 660 some time back and handtec sent the item on time however on opening package i found the nuvi 660 box to be battered somewhat and on opening and evaluating the gps i found it was definately not new but used as it had scratches and scuff marks on the back.
I then brought one from another site which i cant remember the name of and they sent me a brand new unit
Please do not buy from handtec, you may receive a used item and with them its too much hassle to return items so you may not ever get a new replacement if a used one is sent to you

I ordered a mobile phone case from this website. I payed via PayPal, got a confirmation e-mail from PayPal and the money was taken out of my account. 6 days later, I'd received no correspondence from Handtec about the order to say it had been despatched, or indeed that there were any problems. Contacted them today to make sure everything was ok, and they tell me the order was cancelled because of a problem with payment, even though the payment has actually gone through fine! So now in the dark, don't know if I'll ever even receive the product, and their e-mail responses are very slow. Don't trust at all.
Ordered a Garmin Sat Nav 3790T yesterday at 13:25 and received this in Northern Ireland today at 09:30 by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Excellent order service by phone, great web site, and of course excellent delivery service. Only just tried the Sat Nav so early days, but its display and speach recogination for programming routes etc. is also excellent.
last week, i ordered the HP Ipaq Data Messenger costing me £133. it took the money out of the bank but has still not given me the item. ive submitted a ticket 4 times and they STILL havent gotten back to me. i hope they give me a refund.
my advice; do not use Handtec, it is a crap site & they give you faulty goods.
After my order was processed and debited from my account I was asked to asked more information for security. I sent a copy of my passport and card statement. The next day, I was asked to send authorisation code for the transaction. I sent that too. In the afternoon, I received a call and asked private information which I answered. Even after this, they told me that they won't be able to ship the goods and canceled my order.
This was my worst internet shopping experience by far.
PS: I bough the same item from another retailer, bought before 3pm, received the next morning.
This company Handtec or GPSK Ltd are a complete and utter shambles. I received the package late as the courier didn't know the area. Err HELLO!!!!!
Then the item had a small mark on the screen. I was told by one of the staff to send it back, at my own expense too!!!! They stated that they would look at the handset and then send back to HTC for analysis. This should take no more that 2 days.
10 days later and surprise! surprise! I have to do all the chasing. Funny that!!!!!
They basically told me that I did the scratch and that they were going to send it to HTC for a look.
They honestly had NO intention of sending that handset to HTC for analysis at all . I think they would have not even bothered contacting me at all if I hadn't bothered.

I have bought from Handtec twice. My Garmin unit in 2008 and a mount for it this year (2010). Products were in good condition, in original packaging and delivered within the time specified i.e. 2-4 days. The unit itself has not given me any bother in the two years I have had it. I have not had any reason to contact them so cannot comment on after sales service.
