What a pity they had to use City-Link to deliver it though - once again this carrier made a pig's ear of delivery - this time giving it (not even requiring him to sign for it as I understand it) to someone the other side of the A1 who thought he was taking in packages for a neighbour. However, in spite of their poor choice of carrier, I was delighted with the price, speed of despatch, and packaging. Their website is a doddle to use and should I be silly enough to let my husband anywhere near the washing up again, I will go to Havens for the replacements.

Dear Saraband, Many thanks for your positive comments. Peter our despatch manager is reviewing the performance of our 3 main couriers. He tells me that he has called the City Link manager in as we have had one or two issues with them. It is not that they get the odd delivery wrong,but the manor in how they deal with any problem that is the issue. In fairness to all our couriers they did a great job over Christmas with only a few issues arising but like you we feel there is always room for improvement. From what Peter is saying he will not be using City Link again until he is entirely satisfied that they meet both yours and our expectations.
