Real old-fashioned high standard of service!
I have been really impressed with Havens. I was kept informed about the status of my order and the time and date of the delivery. My order was delivered exactly when they said it would be within the hour specified. Unfortunately, one of the plates was broken. They were very apologetic when I phoned and sent out a replacement by first class delivery that same afternoon. I would thoroughly recommend Havens!

Excellent, I could not have been more impressed.
I ordered a wedding gift for some friends and the package turned up as if I'd packed it myself. Everybody concerned was very impressed - the gift, the delivery, the packaging and the tracking information were all perfect.

Going the Extra Mile
I ordered a Waterford Crystal Ship's Decanter as a retirement gift (Thursday) and thought I had clicked on the express delivery for the next morning (Friday). However when I received the confirmation of the order I realised I hadnt.
I was imperative that it was delivered on the Friday as I live abroad and a colleague who was in the UK at the time was flying back on the Saturday and the plan was for her to bring it back.
I couldnt get through on the phone lines so emailed the MD directly and explained the situation. He immediately upgraded the order, checked it was in stock and kept me updated of the order status even giving me the name of the Dispatch Manager. Exact times of delivery were given by the courier (even the name of the driver) and were spot on!
Being in the Service industry (International Airline) I thought this was an exceptional service. The personal touch goes a long way.
It arrived beautifully gift wrapped, with a hand written tag.

Excellent Company, good customer service.
I ordered the products a while ago, but they had a delay in the products reaching them, but kept me up to date at all times. because I was away until the 23rd May, I asked if they could be delivered after my return. When I got home, I received an e-mail saying they would be delivered on the 24th May, and that I could track the items on the 24th, even down to the 1 hour delivery slot. My delivery slot was between 11-12 o'clock, and they arrived at 11.20! They were well packaged and no breakages, as all the items were china items. Would recommend this company to anyone.

It was so easy and delivery was very quick.
I have been looking for these cups and saucers in the shops with no luck. I looked on line and found several suppliers but Havens description of the sizes of the cups and saucers allowed me to get exactly what I wanted. Delivery was amazingly quick - the next day. In fact so quick that I hadn't even looked at my Emails to see that Havens were keeping me updated with progress of the order. Certainly a customer focussed company.

First class service
We ordered 3 sets of dinnerware but only 1 was in stock. We received a call immediately to advise that it would be a week to get the other 2 sets. True to there word all 3 sets arrived together as advised. Excellent after sales service. Thank you very much. A satisfied customer.

Clear website, good service and excellent communication.
They were very good from start to finish. The products are of a very high quality. They let you know exactly where you are in the process, emailing you when the goods have been shipped, texting you so you know when and roughly what time they would arrive. I liked the card slipped in addressed to me. It gave a very personal finish.

Please stock what you display
Unfortunately, I have not had a good experience. I ordered 5 items, to be delivered to my London office. I am based in India and was travelling to London 2 weeks after I placed the order. After 2 weeks, neither did the package arrive nor any communication. When I wrote to find out, I was told that only 2 out of the 5 items were available. I don't know why they could not give me that information in time? To cut the long story short, those 2 items were sent after I had left London. I am back in India now and my items are lying in my office in London. Poorly handled.

I am sorry that we have not been able to completely fulfil your order.
We have over 7000 product lines on our website and do not currently have real time stock availability. At time of ordering we do say what we will do in the event of being out of stock and I can see from the email chain that correspondence has been sent by us with updates.
It was not until more recently that we were aware of a time constraint.
Once again I apologise for any convenience caused and I will look in to the balance of the order and give you an update with options.

Excellent Quality
I've had Maxwell Williams plain white series for over 10 years. I bought my set when I lived in Australia. So now that I'm in the UK, I looked for a reputable place to order more pieces to round out my collection now that we are entertaining more.

The best online shopping experience I have ever had!
I have never been bothered to write a review before but I felt that it was a must this time. Havens is without a doubt the best online retailer I have ever come across. Not only was I able to buy a product at the cheapest price I could find, but, I was able to have it delivered on my day off work with no waiting around all day for the delivery. The emails and texts keeping you updated of what's happening with your order and the delivery company used was fantastic. I was able to push back the super, fast delivery date to a day that was more convenient for me and was informed on the day of my allocated 1hour delivery time slot. My order was delivered at the beginning of this slot. All in all Havens delivered exceptional customer service. I will definitely recommend to friends and family and whoever else will listen. I look forward to purchasing further items from this company who obviously cares about it's customers. Thank you guys, keep up the good work.

First Class!
On 13th May I ordered 5 packs of Dartington glasses (two in each pack), hopefully to arrive in time to take some of them to relatives on 23rd May. Havens could not have been more helpful. They were awaiting a delivery but had three packs in stock.They offered to send those off immediately and the others later when new stock arrived. The three packs duly arrived on 15th May beautifully individually gift wrapped with tags, free of charge, and carefully packed. I had e-mails advising me every step of the way, even to the actual time the package would be delivered. i was very impressed and would certainly use their excellent online site in the future.

The best customer service I've received in a very long time....
Havens have been great from first placing the order to receiving the items. They kept in touch with me on the status of my order, ensuring it was delivered when I needed it and they came beautifully gift wrapped saving us a job prior to our wedding! Great product. Good price hen it finally arrived
We placed our order on 18th April. It finally arrived on 15th may. We recognise that you are dependent on your suppliers but this does appear to be a very long time to wait for cups and saucers.
After receiving your email advising us of delivery we contacted you to change not the date but the venue . You confirmed the Change.
We then saw the delivery being made to the first location. When we contacted you your response was that you had no knowledge of the change . We sent you a copy if your email to us.
We did rearrange the delivery but have heard nothing from you since.
The follow up for customers after something like this s not very good

I must apologise for the delay and the delivery issue you have had with your order. Normally we have the Maxwell and Williams cups and saucers in stock but we had sold out and there was a delay in replenishment. I can see emails from Lisa advising of the delay, along with a further update advising on when delivery would be.
What I cannot find is instructions to change the delivery address and if you could forward the original to me nigel@havens.co.uk and I can try to identify how this has evaded our system. Sometimes the email address can be inaccurate.
I can see that you have signed for the parcel and once again I apologise for the delay and any inconvenience caused.
I hope that the great British weather brightens up and that you have a profitable season.

I would not hesitate to use Havens again for excellent quality goods and their clear customer focus.
I was totally satisfied with my order from Havens and particularly impressed with the level of customer service. Besides being of excellent quality, the glasses arrived on the expected date and on time. I was kept updated with the progress of my order and even received an email telling me the hour in which to expect delivery and the name of the driver! After trying to find a china coffee set through various search engines, I was directed to the Havens site. There I found a Thomas China coffee set, which had a charming design and the price was within my budget for a present for members of the family. They in turn were delighted to receive a delightfil gift.
The parcel was sent to them post free and suitably wrapped.
